What fun! I had learned about this place via some FB post. Friends and I visited yesterday to celebrate a birthday. It is a working museum, meaning it houses over 200 pinball machines row after row, many in fully working condition which you can play. So, play we did! You pay by the hour per person so we paid 12.00 per person for an hour of fun play.

Strange place ... I stopped in (should have been open according to sign on door). Door locked. I called on the phone as per directions three times ... no answer. Garage door open ... called in, no answer, continued calling out, walked in, calling, walking, over and over ... nobody home .... I go home ... Bummer!!!

I've visited pinball museums and bars in many places, Seattle, Denver, the Bay Area, etc., so I had to make the trek to Pinball Perfection outside of Pittsburgh. Legendary for the 300+ machines inside, this place has the most playable vintage games that I've ever seen. Housed in a two-level warehouse, the oldest machines are on the first floor, with the main arcade on the second floor. Pinball Perfection is affordable, just $15 for free play. You can BYOB drinks and snacks, bring coozies to hold beers. The staff was friendly, Friday nights here are fun! Our group got to play games that I've never seen anywhere else, and I've been to 1 Up, Add a Ball, Lynn's Arcade, Alameda Pinball Museum, Free Gold Watch and more. Don't let the haters scare you away from this place, the authentic ambiance is part of its charms. I want cranky weirdos curating vintage pinball machines forever. Also, you can take classes here to learn how to repair pinball machines! Truly epic.

Wow place is great. The place is huge filled with pinball machines and arcade games. I went in looking for some nostalgia a ms paceman machine. They had one but it was a new version with an original cabinet in excellent condition but new board and screen. They retrofit the old to accommodate a ms pacman that has over several hundred games on it. including paceman asteroids galago and hundreds of others. the price was a bit high I thought. The gal who showed me around was very nice and very friendly and more than happy to help. they both sell and restore old pinball machines and arcade games. Place is awesome if for no other reason go there too look around.

Had a good time here recently. Lots of pinball with a smaller arcade selection. The downstairs museum is amazing. Only downside was that the AC was not working the day I went and I was sweating very badly as it is located in a warehouse. Would definitely return.

This place has lots and lots and lots of classic pinball machines and arcade games. Also has skiball, pool, air hockey, and fooseball. We went when it opened at noon. Fun for 10 year old son. Cool place to check out. Interesting to see how things work, too.

This place is unique. It's part museum, it's part party venue, plus it restores and sells pinball machines. They have a lot of experience and pride in their workmanship. You can rent rooms for your party for $10 per person. You can come and tour the museum (re-opens March 18th). Plus you can bring in a pinball machine for repair. They have hundreds of pinball machines, so there are lots of memories to be relived.

This place is pretty awesome. Half museum, half hobby shop, all arcade. It's mostly pinball machines from the 1950s on, but there are some other standouts, including a few slot machines, air hockey, and some skiball-style bowling machines. At any giving time, it looks like a good percentage of the machines are down for repairs, but I can't complain, because there is more than enough to do here. Seek out the 1933 World's Fair pinball machine for a really neat game. $10 gets you unlimited play starting at 7pm.

If it looks like the weather is turning, I'd recommend starting outside and hitting up the batting cages or go-kart racing as those close first. We arrived just as the skies were opening up so concentrated on the inside. We had two small kiddos with us aged 5 years old. The Duckpin bowling was perfect for them. They loved it, and we selected the game theme as Christmas. Why not? It was Christmas in July! While bowling, we ordered dinner so we could eat and play at the same time. Think basic arcade/amusement park fare. But it was all pretty tasty. We ordered a large pizza and some garlic bread sticks. We devoured it all. From here, we went to the arcade, which was the biggest hit with the kids. They just loved all of the game options and winning tickets to win a prize. Personally, I was addicted to the quarter drop games and since it's all payment through a pre-paid card, it's easy to burn through the money! The rain eventually slowed so we checked out the outdoor putt putt golf and took the kids to a few of the rides. They loved the hot air balloons and the swinging ride. I will add, that the rides are more like carnival rides. Several of them were not working. We joined the kids on the spinning seat ride and there was a dramatic moment where they couldn't get any of the lap bars to open. It was actually very nerve-wracking. My bar wouldn't come up but after several tries they got it to open. My son's bar never actually got open after nearly the entire staff came out to help. He was surprisingly calm given the circumstances and we eventually were able to position him in a way that we could pull him out of the ride. The lap bar never opened. It was a little terrifying. But I'm giving the place a strong review since they truly seemed mortified by the situation. And allowed our kids to pick out whatever toy they wanted. While it was pretty traumatizing, they were able to pick out some new toys and that made them so happy. I was just glad I didn't sit in the seat my son was in. I don't know what would have happened!

For years, my family has been coming here for birthday parties and everyday fun. More recently, my husband had a work event here, and his employees seemed to enjoy the foods, drinks, and games. I think that the restaurant's casual foods such as pizzas and its alcoholic beverages such as cocktails taste very good. The kids "loved" the bowling and arcade games and spent hours playing them. The games are fun for adults, too (I liked the air hockey and laser tag, although I am not the most skilled at them!). The only problem that we have had was that a photo printer was out of paper, and we had to wait for the paper to be replaced. The employees spoke nicely with us.

We were going to do two but not with those prices. And honestly I get it a LITTLE bit BUT THE amount of time wasted on waiting for the pins to reset or getting our balls back is half the time. My uncle is a bowler and has his own ball and it kept getting stuck as well as their own balls but they blamed it on having his own. We barely got through two games in an hour. Tom Terrific here with another honest business review…read more My brother heard about this place and was aching to go there. He has his own Jumbo pinball machine in his home and he's really into it. So am I, so we stopped in a few days after Christmas. Admission on that Sunday was $20 per person. I was stunned by how many people were there. Male and a surprising number of females. Whole families with little kids were having a blast. It's a huge place with many hundreds of machines, most of which are pinball. They have gun shooting machines, the pac man type machines and my favorite the baseball games where this flapper rises up and a pinball shoots out and you whack it with the bat using your flipper control. My favorite pinball was the Twilight Zone. It gave me lots of time to bang that ball around and it had all the bells, whistles and lights I love. Many times in the 2 and a half hours we were there I'd just go from one machine to the next one all down the line. What fun! The men's restroom was medium size, easy to find in the rear and clean. I was surprised to find that they have a great concession court. It had lots of tables, chairs and napkins. There was a TV showing football. The biggest surprise was the quality of the food. My $3.50 hot dog was all beef on a fresh bun and there were all the condiments, even relish in packets. The food staff wore latex gloves and all of them were neat, clean and wholesome looking. I refuse to eat at any place that hires people with what we in Tampa call snot rings that go into their septum and hang down to their lips. UGH. Get the hell out of here. Not for me. Very unsanitary. I complimented the staff on their food and they thanked me. I noticed that they had quantity control. The french fries were made to order and they came out of a small sandwich bag that I assume was weighed for a consistent number of fries. You don't see that everywhere. I checked the counters and the floor of the kitchen and the entire place - it was clean and the floors appeared freshly mopped. A+ Past Times also had decorations and photos on the walls and my brother knew who the old men were that were depicted there. The walls honored the pioneers of pinball, a very appropriate thing to do. The entire staff and management was very kind as we asked questions and I got my picture taken with the white board stating I was Tom Terrific from Tampa, Florida. My brother said there may be only one pinball arcade that was larger and it resides in Los Angeles. I loved Past Times and it seems like so did all the other people. I highly recommend it for a date, a great family night out or even as a solo venture. Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Past Times - 5 Stars !

HO. LEE. SHE. IT…read more It took me a while to get here, but I've just been to the best arcade in Ohio. Past Times Arcade is absolutely fantastic. Maybe, just maybe, it's the best arcade that I've been to in the last 40 years! PTA has the largest "open to the public" selection of pinball machines that I've ever seen...this includes the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas and both of the big venues in Pittsburgh. There might be occasional pinball expos, and private collections, where more games are on display...but these are usually not open year round. Rare and cool AF games are everywhere! There are tables from 5, maybe 6, continents! Tables from "every" era in pinball history are represented, IN LARGE NUMBERS, at PTA! And critically, almost all of the games are playable AND are in GREAT CONDITION! I'm not sure how the owner and his team keep this many tables in such good condition, but somehow, it is the case. How about video games? You bet! PTA has over 200 of these. Selection? Lots of rare games and almost all the blockbusters as well. Are they in good condition? Yep. Less than 5 were not operational. Not a single game (that I played) had an issue with the controls or the screen. Amazing. Also cool: There is a fair number (50ish?) of pre-transistor electromechanical games. Many of these were operational, but many, (such a Sega's Periscope) were, unfortunately, not up and running. Still though, it was nostalgic and (maybe even a little) heart warming to see them again. The games are set on "Free Play;" you pay 20 bucks to play all day. You get a wrist band and you can come and go as you please. If you're a kid, it's cheaper. If you're a veteran or a first responder, it's cheaper. Food? Yes. I admit that I didn't eat anything, but the kitchen and diner area sure smelled good! It was also amazing how clean PTA was, even the crapper was spotless. Booze? Yes. I didn't drink but the selection of canned adult beverages looked pretty extensive. Bottom line: I've been to some of the biggest and best arcades (and coin op museums) in the country. Past Times Arcade just might be the best. No shit. 5 Stars.
