A group of us came in right before the lunch time rush, so we were really lucky to not have had to wait in an extremely long line. It did get crazy busy while we were dining in and the line to the drive thru was intense as we were leaving. The people working here were friendly, no complaints there. I don't think there needs to be a big fuss about this place. I did think the pastrami was good, with great flavor and not too greasy/fatty, but it could have maybe been a bit juicier. The bread got a bit soggy, maybe that's where all the moisture went, but I am the type of person who kind of likes that. The disappointments were in the sides. The fries and onion rings were also a generous portion but kind of lacked flavor. I did like the self serve drinks with the orange bang. I used to exclusively get orange bangs in my childhood Hawaiian diner so this was a nice bit of nostalgia. Overall, I'd come in again but only if there was a short line.

Great experience at The Hat in Las Vegas! I ordered the ham and cheese sub, while my parents went with the world-famous pastrami subs and fries. The portions are huge, so come hungry! Even with a line, it moved pretty quickly. They also have a parking lot and drive-thru, which makes it super convenient. Definitely worth checking out if you're craving a hearty sandwich! Didn't even get any pictures of the food

We kept driving by this place and kept driving because the lines looked ridiculously long and we were always in a rush. Not today. Today we had plenty of time and there wasn't much of a line so we decided to brave it. Plenty of free parking and a short walk to the venue. Once we entered there was a short line. About 5-6 pp in line only and the line went fast. We wanted a pastrami sandwich that would wow us so I chose pastrami dip sandwich. Hubby chose chili cheese fries. The size of the fries! It was enough to feed 3, maybe 4 people. What I like is the self serve dispensers for the drinks. It allows me to go back and get a refill before I left. The pastrami sandwich was also big. It was enough for 2 people to share for sure. They put lots of shaved pastrami in it that spilled out of the bread. My only disappointment was there weren't any au jus to dip the sandwich into or some kind of sauce. The pastrami was also very thin and a bit dry compared to the best pastrami sandwich I've had in the past. We sat outside on a bench because we brought our dog with us. It was late, past 9pm so it was no longer hot. Peanut enjoyed the French fries I'll be back to try their milkshake and other menu item. Still waiting for that wow lol

I have been a big fan of The Hat for years. We stop by the California locations at least 1x a year. We thought we'd wait for a bit to try this one as it always looks so busy. There was definitely a long line in the drive-thru but inside we were quickly able to order. The wait for the order to be received was maybe 5 min. I don't know but it didn't taste the same somehow. I felt like the fries were a little too stiff like maybe they weren't cooked all the way through. And the pastrami itself tasted different from the Cali locations. I might be being crazy but we'll be stopping next time we're in Cali to verify.

Drive-thru or eat inside, either way, it is worth the wait!! The Pastrami sandwich is a 13/10. The Onion rings with gravy are a 13/10. Service & ambiance are always a 10! Restroom is clean They even have a cute merch tshirt for under $20!

The food is always great!! The location in Las Vegas has just opened. I couldn't wait!!! Once they officially opened, the lines inside and drive thru was 2-3 hours. I had to wait about a month before I was able to go and enjoy the food.

I finally got around to checking out the hype. I live close by so always knew about the hype was coming from LA. The day it open like OMG line out the door and drive thru. Insane. It still is but not as bad if walk in (drive thru the same always long line). Total luck. Literally walked in and straight to cashier place my order. NOT normal. Five minutes later line almost out the door. I ended up getting the pastrami dip because known for so first time order. I also got wet gravy fries. The pastrami is for real LEGIT. It moist, tasty, and could have just bowl of pastrami be happy. Talk about loaded. One sandwich is huge. I barely put dent in the fries cause was full. The bread sandwich's was on point. Whole sandwich was amazing. The brown gravy fries was tasty. The gravy had great flavor and nice amount covered the fries. So much more of the menu look forward to checking out. Service was five stars. They have it done amount of employees and efficient!!

Nothing special. I waited a bit to let the crowds die down. Arrived at 10 and went inside. If you have even been to Ted's Hotdogs in Buffalo, NY, the vibe and look is very similar. The only person on the staff that ack anyone was the guy holding the door open who I think was the manager. The food was uneventful. I ordered the turkey on the French roll, no mayo and add pickles. There was zero flavor. No seasoning at all. The bread was flavorless as well. I added spread when I got home and threw it in the air fryer and still bland. Try onion rings were ok, no dipping sauce, just ketchup packets. The potato salad was the best thing. I ordered just a side of pastrami for my husband since he doesn't eat bread and he thought it was good. Way too many other options in town. Prices were good.

This place is awesome. If you're in LV, take time from the strip and head over. It's crowded but the line moves fast. HUGE portions and tastes great.

I waited a total of 20 minutes from ordering until I got my food and was pleasantly surprised. I'm so glad I waited until the hype died down before I tried to even attempt to get in line. We ordered the pastrami melt, the chili, and two pastrami dips. The pastrami dips were good. I thought the pastrami had a good flavor and wasn't too salty. The chili was meat chili with no beans and was just okay to me- not my favorite. However, the star of the show for me was the pastrami melt. It had a great flavor and the cheese was not too overpowering. The bread was nice and crispy like a good grilled cheese sandwich. I will definitely be getting that again. The only thing I would change is the slices of the pastrami. They seemed super small and shredded almost. I would prefer a larger slice. I didn't realize the menu was so big and I will definitely be trying other items when I go back!

If you're looking for a yummy Sandwich spot I recommend the hat! I was sold when I saw they have a drive thru. I went on a Friday night which was busy! I was looking for somewhat of a healthy alternative and opted for the veggie/avocado & cheese which was amazing! I tried a small order of the onion rings which there was nothing small about them it was actually quite alot. It's worth trying!

Ask the Community - The Hat

Can one order ahead of time for pick up?

Sadly no. It's also not on any of the dashers if you want it you gotta wait in line. Meritocracy lol

Is there a long wait for seating?

    15 to 20min

    Are they officially open now.?

Today is their grand opening day! May 6th 2026

Is this the same kind of Pastrami you'd get in a Jewish Deli?

I don't believe so. It's a sub roll with thinly sliced pastrami with pickle and mustard. You can get it dipped or dry.

    Any new opening date set?

    May 6th - grand opening day :)

Is there an updated opening date?

I got an email on The Hat's mailing list stating the grand opening is May 6, 10:00 am - 1:00 am.

    Have they opened yet?

No, not yet. Still under construction.

Is the Las Vegas Location open?

I don't believe so. On their website they say they expect to open sometime this spring and spring isn't till the end of March so that means End of March or latter.

All'Antico Vinaio has been on my lists for a while, so I was glad that I finally got to come here!…read more I came right at opening, and was second in line. Since this was my one and only chance (I think) to try this spot, me and a friend decided to split our sandwiches to try more than just one. We settled on L'INFERNO and the LA DISTRICT. The former has: porchetta, nduja, spicy eggplant, spicy zucchini, arugula -- while the latter has pancetta, pecorino cream, sun dried tomato, arugula. I had to hop on a plane for a few hours, so I wanted to pack the sandwiches for a later time -- but I had to try them FRESH. Oh boy. These sandwiches were an absolute EXPERIENCE -- the bread (which is schiacciata) was warm, pillowy, with the most amazing crust. The porchetta on the L'INFERNO was so tender and full of flavor paired with the nduja. The LA DISTRICT was a nice calm contrast, instead of strong flavors, all the elements worked as one -- and that pecorino cream was an absolute masterpiece. After I arrived, the line behind me quietly filled up quickly (it was the 10:35 AM)! As with most locations, come early if you don't want to wait. I did eat the rest of the sandwiches about 3 hrs. later but it got duller the longer it sat (as expected). It was still good though! I repeat: I was a bit skeptical because of the virality of this slot, but at lease at the UNCOMMONS, location, the hype is indeed real. Place was immaculate, service was as expected, and sandwiches were knocked out of the park!

This review is based solely on the burger Wow! Just, wow…read more I have been to many, MANY places to get a good burger, but this may be one of the absolute best burgers I've had. When you go out, most places - not all, but most - you need to say medium rare if you want medium, rare if you want medium rare, and... well, that's about it, because if you order anything from medium well to well done than you just shouldn't be eating burgers. But this place, I asked for medium rare, feeling like a medium that day, and it came out the most perfect rare I have ever had! The char on the outside of this obviously hand made patty, while still being heated through all the delicious pink inside! Oh man! I don't think I need to say much more. The wife had the chicken strips and fries, which she said were "perfectly portioned at three strips." Service was as good as any place should be. And prices weren't bad at all.

Everything was delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed every dish we tried. My husband's favorite was the burger--it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I especially loved the salmon, which was cooked beautifully, and the brown rice was surprisingly so flavorful. Paired with the avocado, it made for such a satisfying combination. My toddler's favorite was the fettuccine alfredo--she couldn't get enough of it! One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the chef-owner. He was incredibly kind, and you can truly tell how much care and love he puts into his food. That passion comes through in every dish, making the whole experience feel thoughtful and genuine.
