Owner, Servers and "manager" are arrogant and unfit to run this business. We were 11 people celebrating a birthday. Some of the plates were good. Some just OK. I have ordered a duck plate and after 30 minutes the server assured me it was on the way. 5 minutes later, the self-proclaimed manager (Korine) asked me for the temperature of the duck. 10 minutes later I decided to cancel the order. The "manager" started to argue with me on why I want to cancel and that 45 minutes is totally acceptable for waiting for the food but I stood my ground and didn't let me bully me around. About 20 minutes after, the "manager" came by and asked me how was everything to which I responded "the food was good but the service was bad" to which she replied "oh, I am sorry but NOT sorry about the service rather sorry that she checked and I made the order 20 minutes before I canceled it". At this point, she starting raising her voice to which I asked her to back off and let me enjoy the rest of my dinner. To top this off (icing on the cake), the owner of the restaurant called my friend (who made the reservation) and told her "why the f..k we went to the restaurant to cause problems" and "who the f..k does she think she is?". Started off a bit challenging as the place was packed, inside and out and we didn't have a reservation. It was mid-winter vacation for many school systems and the crowds of visitors were joyful and pleasant but slowed the process down. We eventually were seated and we were attended to by a truly excellent waiter, KEVIN HART. He was genuinely friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and was a true expert in guiding us through the menu, helping us to pick wonderful choices that met our preferences. I have been going there since they open and let me tell you this place is fantastic. The food is great not only because it is kosher but because the dishes are absolutely succulent, what else would you expect from a French owner? Their sushi is fantastic and creative, It expensive but you are eating high quality food in a fancy restaurant so you get what you pay for. I recommend the RIb eye or cote de Boeuf in the meat section, for sushi the Madonna roll and the Sea bass roll will leave you speechless. read more

I had dinner at this horrible overpriced place. I had the unpleasant experience of attending to one of the most overrated restaurants in Miami. Don't waste your money at this restaurant. Sleepy service, poor food quality, and when we asked why it was like this they stated that their kitchen was backed up, yet the restaurant was damn near empty. I waited over an hour to receive my stake. We sat at the table at 9:15 and we received our dinner at 10:35 PM. I ordered medium rare stake and he delivered well done stake and the waiter had the guts to argue with me that this is a medium rare stake. I spoke the owner and he screamed at me. This place is pure highway robbery. After having endured all this nonsense, the thought of enjoying a good meal seemed to me impossible when you deal with dishonest management and waiter. Jason is the GM. What a joke. He is not even qualified to mange a fast food restaurant. At this time, I had enough of this torture and asked for the check. To my surprise the previously deceptive waiter came alive and rushed with the check as if his life depended on it and I found out that he added 18% for his horrible service. The french owner is extremely rude and actually asked us to get up and scoot our table over 2 feet DURING our meal so that he could make room for another table. The food is sub-par, sushi has waayyy to much sauce/rice/mayo, and it is all overly priced. My friend also claims to have seen a cockroach scurry across the floor near the kitchen. I used to come to this restaurant regularly , steaks are testy and the atmosphere is pleasant. Two month ago I took a client for lunch, we placed our order , but after 35 min , we were still waiting . eventually after asking the waitress a numbers of times , our sushi arrived , as always it was pretty testy. We ordered the bill and 18% tip was pre added, as I did not believe the service deserved 18 % tip, I approached the owner and asked him to please take it off / he became rude and called me all sort of names , according to him I was cheap , he then asked me if I was jewish / I said I was , then he said : well then you much be Ashkenazi , I told him that I was not , that I was Sephardic , he then stated that he could not Belive it , and continued with his horrendous comments. A new level of PETTYNESS! BYOM! (bring your own mustard) This is a new low! We ordered a very large deli platter which came with one tiny little dish of mustard. Nowhere near enough for two people to use mustard with their "Charcuterie" . We asked for more mustard. What a shock to see that the waiter had added $1.50 onto our $200 bill for what he labeled a "side dish"!! Since when is a condiment a side dish?? When we insisted he remove it from the bill he balked, saying it was a very expensive "special" mustard. Very disappointed by my recent visit. We visited the Harbour Grill for a late evening snack and drink. Everything we tried to order from the menu wasn't available. We settled for an appetizer and a salad for over $75 (without alcohol), and noticed a $9.00 service fee on the bill. My wife and I visited this restaurant on a rather hot day in Summer. Upon entering, the restaurant was essentially empty inside and crowded/busy outside with many children making noise and a mess. The hostess asked if we would like a seat outside. We said we would prefer to sit inside and he told us the inside was full. It was not full, not by a long shot. I've often found the service at kosher restaurants to be somewhat lacking (being kind), but the waitstaff and efficiency at Harbour Grill is certainly commensurate with the price of the meal. The tuna starter was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend it. We also got the peppered 10 oz. "filet," which was outstanding. Additionally, we got the teriyaki "filet" and it was terrific. If you like lamb (I don't), my oldest says it was tender and tasty. I got the chicken, which was light and beautifully pounded. Desserts were lovely, too. Highly recommend this place. Can't emphasize enough how good the service is. (If you've eaten at a typical kosher restaurant -- you know what I'm talking about.) Kudos to the proprietor and his staff. read more

Usually at kosher restaurants I find that the service is terrible, but here our waitress was great! The food was delicious as well! I got a hamburger which was rich in taste, it came with French fries. One of my brothers got the less expensive steak and the other got the most expensive steak.
