Play space: Met with a friend & her kids a couple weeks ago for a play date. It was our understanding (from a post on their Instagram) that the play space was free - It is not. $10 for the first kid and $2.99? for each additional and you need to sign a waiver. We gave each other a confused look but agreed to pay and go about play time. The space is an open room with a variety of eclectic toys and 'stations' to play. When you walk in, there are cubbies for the kid's shoes and other belongings. Toys range from blocks and puzzles to tents, pretend cookware, stepping blocks and other new items that the store may offer as well as a dress-up area. Free self-serve coffee with basic condiments is offered on a table in the back of the room. (yay!) A party area is located behind the play space and available to rent for around $200-300. (I requested info on it and was given information verbally so I don't remember exact figures or what is included). Restrooms are available and include diaper changing stations. Our kids range from 6mos-5years and all enjoyed their time. The area is clean for the amount of kids that play here. Retail: The storefront offers some cute boutique clothing and specialty toys. These are higher-quality items. I bought my baby a cloth teething bead necklace ($12.99) and she loves it!

Todd's Toys is a fun shop down in far southwest Arlington. Walking in is like reliving your…read morechildhood. You see all sorts of toys and games from your youth and it's quite nostalgic. They have quite the collection tucked into a small space while still having room to browse and find things. They will also buy items from you, just remember they are a business you aren't going to get the same as if you sell it yourself. But that's the point of selling it to them. To get some cash and not have to worry about selling it yourself.

Went into the shop to check it out because a friend suggested it. The store was felt off. The sad part is... is that the same owner of the shop is selling that figure on Mercari for 240. Is this some kind of joke? (I included pictures just to show, it's literally their shop...) oh to top it off, charging an arm and a leg for a already built HG gunpla kits... not even a master grade!!! FULLY BUILT KIT FOR 50 BUCKS THAT SOMEONE ALREADY ENJOYED BUILDING. I'd understand if it was 50 or even more for a brand new kit. This store is a joke. If y'all truly want some anime figures that aren't too far from retail and isn't doing shady stuff, go to Wild West weebs on cooper. I cannot believe that y'all would do things like this Update: 5/9/2023 They removed their listing. Be careful of buying anime anything from them

Little bricks EVERYWHERE and in all sorts of bins on both levels. Also has so many totes full of bricks on shelves. They also have a LOT of the small Lego figurines. 4 stars for the staff, friendly, but shortly maned. We stood at the counter to purchase a few items for quit some time. 2 stars for pricing on the box items. Some of the items in this store had almost a 40-50% mark up. One item that we recently purchased at a box chain store was $20 more at this store than it was where we purchased it. EEK! They do have a lot of premade items in glass shelves, a lot of Star Wars items, all are a gem to look at, as it gives a better perspective of the actual size of the boxed items. Another point that should be recognized, this is a family owned store that sales Legos products, they are not an actual Legos store. Something to keep in mind when you purchase items at the given mark up. Being a specialty shop, they only pay the bills from the sale of Legos, and nothing else. It's worth supporting these guys to keep them in business. One thing they do have, is a build your own model, which is a great option for children parties and such. I don't recall the price, I did see some set pricing, but listening to another speak to the employees, it almost sound like weight or volume based on pricing. It's not like they can count each lego used to build the child specific toy. It's fun little store. Dusty, be ready for that.
