They really are a "Jack of all trades" business. We've had 2 sliders replaced which included widening the area a bit and a new entry door, tile work done around our fireplace and bar/island area and then brought them back to continue the bar/island tile for a backsplash and the backsplash on the opposite side of our kitchen. Oh yeah, did I mention they paint too. We had our ceiling done to cover up smoke damage from the old fireplace and it looks great! They are an honest company that won't nickel and dime you, his estimates have been super reasonable. We could not be happier with how everything turned out.

From start to finish, Brian and Justin not only met our expectations, but far exceeded them on all counts. Their quality of workmanship, selection of high-grade materials, and attention to every detail far exceeded our expectations. Justin, who is also a highly skilled electrician himself, is a true craftsman with a focus on fine details (many of which that would not be visible) when installing our new cabinets, lighting, appliances, etc. He took the time to ensure that every thing was to our satisfaction every day and exceeded it....every day . Brian is a skilled Project manager, Master Electrician, and himself very detail oriented. In addition to providing all the new electrical service to our home, He took care of all the details involving the scheduling the Plumbing, Drywall, for this extensive remodel. Communication was outstanding during this project. He also went above and beyond on many things that were not specified in the quote that he didn't have to do, but did so to ensure everything was done right and to our satisfaction. After 3 attempts, it finally worked. I called B & L to diagnose why my electric bills were so high (unrelated to the hot water heater). Brian not only diagnosed the problem (a setting on my whole house generator), he also discovered the other company's "fix" was to disconnect my fire alarm and use that line for my hot water heater! Brian fixed that quickly, and my home was again safe. They are my "go-to" company for anything electrical.

We had to replace a set of wood exterior stairs on a home in Douglas, MI. with steel. Matt did extensive research and found the best steel company with a good bid. He saved us thousands of dollars. It was a complicated replacement and Matt kept us updated all along the way. He worked well with the outsourced Steel guys and made sure everything was coordinated. He also took care of old wood and cleaned up the worksite. He went above and beyond on finishing touches. Matt is a friendly guy and very easy to work with as well as a great problem solver.

Scope of work included taking off recently laid flooring on the entire first floor and installing a new vinyl plank floor, trim all interior closets doors and windows, and paint all. Install under cabinet lighting in kitchen, install closet shelving, tile bathroom, frame new lower level bath, hang shower door, trim out all lower level window and doors and paint all. In all instances Matt was clear and concise in his communication and contract with me. He always asked me about small details and how I wanted them done. There was great communication on his part. His crew is pleasant to have around, and made every effort to clean up at the end of the day. I will hire this company again for an upcoming project.

I first hired Stephen to put in a shower in a bathroom in a rental house I had bought. He quoted a…read moregood price, and did a reasonably good job. However, he asked me to pay for materials at Home Depot with my credit card. I asked Home Depot for a receipt, and found that he'd also charged a $20 snow shovel, along with some snacks. He also didn't get the correct length of nipple for the faucet, and left me to go find it, install it, etc. And the job came in $200 over the estimate. That wouldn't have been a big deal except for the other items. Since the overall price wasn't bad, I hired him again on another house to install a door between the porch and living room, as well as fixing a toilet issue. He didn't cut the door short enough, and, without asking me, chipped away at the floor to give sufficient room for the door to open. When I was looking at his work, he told me that a thin transition could be placed over the ugly results to make it look better. I took his word for that, but later found that even the thinnest transition wouldn't fit under the door. I contacted him about trimming the door further, and he didn't respond. I asked twice. He hasn't responded, and this was now some weeks back. Again, the price was over the estimate, and this time with a truly unsatisfactory result.
