I received Tom's phone number from my sister-in-law, who has used Tom for several different…read morepainting jobs. I left a message, and when he called back, we scheduled an appointment. He arrived promptly and punctually to appraise for our estimate. I found Tom to be friendly, courteous, and efficient in generating his assessment. We agreed on a price, and Tom said that he and his helper would begin in 4 days on a Monday @ 9 AM. Tom & Mark arrived on time and after bringing their equipment in, began prepping for paint in earnest. They had nice equipment (ladders, tarps, miscellaneous painting tools & accessories) and treated our condo and their items professionally. We have a utility tub in the laundry room, which they used to clean their equipment during the day and prior to leaving. It appeared to be cleaned as if they lived here when through cleaning up for the day. I purchased the paint colors at Sherwin-Williams (Duration - satin latex) due to them having a large sale and saved 40% off my large order. Tom and Mark were both pleased with S-W Duration and said that we would love it also. I agree with the Duration paint assessment - it has a beautiful sheen that really displays well after two days of curing. Prior to their arrival, I removed receptacle/outlet covers, curtains, and wall hangings to allow for more efficient use of their painting skills. I also placed large furniture glides under the beds and heavy furniture to promote ease of movement. It was a harmonious event with two skilled painters and the homeowners. They had friendly banter between themselves and good communication with each of us, both workers and watchers. Tom and Mark move fluidly through a room while cutting in and then painting the walls. They handled minor patching (any former hanger marks dents, etc. I highlighted with a penciled "X"} and sanding prior to applying the new colors. They used painters tape on the baseboards and where needed to protect mouldings and also for crisp paint lines. We had the top floor of the condo painted; master bedroom, guest bedroom, two bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen, stairwell, dining room, and living room. This is approximately 1,300 square feet for the upper level. I opted for leaving the closets painted white instead of matching room colors, as suggested by another painter many years ago. Tehy did not paint the closets. They are detail-oriented and skilled painters, who work professionally and quickly for all parties benefit. I would highly recommend their painting for any project you have pending. Tom is insured and has a long list of satisfied customers with positive referrals. I will definitely hire them again. A+++++

Seldom do you find a Company to work with as truly outstanding as B&L Electric & Construction. We…read morechose B&L because not only was their quote very reasonable for the scope of work to be done (a complete kitchen remodel and electrical service upgrade, but more importantly, they stand behind their work. From start to finish, Brian and Justin not only met our expectations, but far exceeded them on all counts. Their quality of workmanship, selection of high-grade materials, and attention to every detail far exceeded our expectations. Justin, who is also a highly skilled electrician himself, is a true craftsman with a focus on fine details (many of which that would not be visible) when installing our new cabinets, lighting, appliances, etc. He took the time to ensure that every thing was to our satisfaction every day and exceeded it....every day . Brian is a skilled Project manager, Master Electrician, and himself very detail oriented. In addition to providing all the new electrical service to our home, He took care of all the details involving the scheduling the Plumbing, Drywall, for this extensive remodel. Communication was outstanding during this project. He also went above and beyond on many things that were not specified in the quote that he didn't have to do, but did so to ensure everything was done right and to our satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is their goal and the customer service/ customer satisfaction could not have been better. It was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend B&L to family, friends and neighbors for their electrical and/ or construction projects. Greg and Charisse Fair

Brian fixed that quickly, and my home was again safe. They are my "go-to" company for anything electrical.
