Beers drank: 4 each. Laughs shared: so, so many.

We had SUCH a great time the other night with Gerard leading our group! He was fun, attentive, and made sure we understood all the rules before taking off. For his first night on the job, we were SUPER impressed with him. We thought it was priced pretty reasonably, I believe we paid $35 per person. If you're looking for something to do with your 21+ crowd, this is it!

Want to give a shout out to Handlebar for being a part of the Handlebar Hot Lap yesterday! Many thanks for supplying the vehicles and drivers, who were all very good sports! Although it's been a while, I have booked with Handlebar previously. It's always a fun time, and drivers are always outstanding! Highly recommended!

Our group had a great time on our pedal bar tour with HandleBar Indy! We loved that there was the option to rent by bike seat instead of the whole bike as we had a smaller group. Communication from the company regarding safety, filling out the waiver in advance and what to expect was very clear and timely. While each bike seat is expensive, the overall experience is well worth the money! The driver was great at balancing the two groups that were on our bike. The bike stops at two bars and one photo opportunity during the tour. Each group was able to have some say in picking these locations. The driver stays informed about which bars are open throughout the night. There was a private event at a bar our bike was interested in and the driver was able to quickly recommend options and navigate to a different bar. Ample parking is available in a lot right next to the HandleBar building. The location is also a quick 10 minute walk to several restaurants if you are looking to grab a bite to eat before or after your tour. I would recommend creating a playlist for the tour as someone on the bike will be able to play music using the driver's aux cord. Don't forget to bring cash to tip your driver at the end of the tour! Early fall is the perfect time of year for a pedal bar tour. We had great weather right at sunset and loved seeing the city from our bike!

From start to finish, this was an amazing experience! When I initially made the reservations, we thought we might have a couple of extra people (over 16), Marcus worked with me to help find solutions. Prior to our date, we continued to receive updates and information... the best part was that if we had questions, all we had to do was text! Two days before our reservation, I received an email regarding the NEW HANGAR BAR that is now part of The Handlebar. They were opening the weekend of our tour and offered us a VIP package! I immediately RSVP'd and they set us up for an hour before our tour! We arrived a little early, but they quickly seated us! They had a variety of beer on tap and delicious mixed drinks! We ordered 5 brick oven pizzas (probably a little aggressive )! Sweet Baby Cheesus (all cheese with a perfect crust), Sausage (basic, but perfect-the sausage was great quality), The Danger Zone (my favorite... sausage, pepperoni, goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and a drizzle of hot (slightly spicy) honey! It was PERFECT! I was nervous about the honey, so I ordered it on the side... but I quickly changed my tune and drizzled it over the entire pizza). Handlebarbq (WOW... as soon as this came out everyone reached over and started picking the pickles off to enjoy! This pizza had bbq sauce, grilled chicken, red onion and of course pickle chips... a crowd favorite for sure!). The timing worked out perfect and when we finished our pizza, we settled up our tabs and headed to the bike! Our "driver" was AMAZING! He interacted well with our entire group! I secretly loved it when he called out my husband for not being on top of his bartending game... lol! He danced with us (at red lights, of course) and genuinely seemed to have a great time! He was accommodating with our stops and kept us on a good schedule! As we pulled back in to finish our tour, I found myself feeling sad to be done! Today, I received so many compliments and comments from our group... most of them said that this was their favorite Indy experience of all time! Smiles were huge, laughs were loud and hugs were exchanged... it was a perfect night! Thank you Handlebar & Hangar Bar... WE WILL BE BACK... SOON!!!

This was so much fun! We did this for my sister in laws bachelorette and we all had a blast! Riley our driver was awesome at keeping the party going and making it fun! Highly recommend it for a new fun experience.

Nate is the best handle bar driver. You need him to make your trip the most fun. He does red light socials and plays bar tender for us so no one has to get up. He brings such a fun atmosphere and the best time. He allows us to play the best music music. If you want a great time on the handlebar then ask for Nate!

Lots of fun! Boomer was a great driver. Def glad we rode around at 8pm so the temperature was fantastic. I'm 4'11" and was too short to pedal LOL. Seats are comfy and wish the ride was longer. Good place to chill and see the city. Kind of pricey for my preference ($36ish dollars for 2 hours) and it's BYOB.

Question: What is the test of fun when at a bar of any shape, size or form? Answer: Lack of alcohol. If you can be at a bar without alcohol and have the time of your life - you know it's one helluva bar. As is the case with The Handle Bar. I experienced this exciting new addition to the Indy drinking scene (on wheels) during my month of zero booze. And when I say I had a good time, I mean we were planning our next go around less than an hour into the two-hour ride. The passenger biking bar was shipped in from Amsterdam which is fairly evident via the Dutch undertones in the woodwork and German words engraved overhead. I believe physical exercise while drinking is the perfect way to pull off the best of both worlds all in one perfect bundle. And if that isn't enough, the excellent built-in music system with Ipod/phone connectivity will serve as the cherry on top - bring on the Girl Talk, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent and Ashanti ladies and gents. Alcohol rules: You can't hop off while the bike is in motion. Beer and wine only and no glass is allowed on the bar. Food is welcome and several stops will be made along the way if you wish to purchase drinks or food at some of Indy's prime-ly located bars and eateries. Stephen, the owner and BarMeister, definitely has the Hostess with the Mostess thing down pat. By the end of the ride you'll want to claim him as a friend.

@ the end of the tour!

What. A. Blast!!! Corey was our driver for our friends bachelorette weekend bash. He was so great and made sure we all had a good time. We did the evening twilight tour so it was a little fast but worth it. Definitely want to come back for another girls weekend and do the longer tour. Lots of ease when it comes to booking and communicating questions.

I love the handlebar concept, I've ridden many times before and will go back as much as time and funds allow. You can pick up your handlebar just outside of what used to tow yard brewing. Then your waiver is checked and you hop on the bar, ps don't pull up by the cup holders because they will pop out, and you get an important safety talk. Essentially don't jump off the handlebar, don't lean back.. Just don't get crazy and try and be a responsible adult. Then you get a lovely tour of Indy! As you peddle to different bars from an area of your choosing. It's great because you can also listen to music as you peddle along! Usually, the first stop is on the circle for a big group photo, and then you start the trip to different bars. Whats nice is you usually get about 10-15 min in each bar and then you get back on, and can continue the beverage consumption from your own cooler! This is an awesome thing to do with a group of friends when the weather is nice!

First time riding the handlebar. They limited to 12 people, leaving the back few seats empty. Not sure if that's due to COVID or what good that does. Masks were not required. The driver was very helpful with getting us drinks throughout the ride, and safely storing our bags and coats. Overall it was a good time!

:) My husband didn't want to put the whole thing on his CC so he spoke to Steve and they worked it out so that he just held his info if we didn't show!

The Nest Event Center is located in Greenwood just off I-65 at Main Street. The parking lot is quite large and will accommodate a large event. The interior is amazing and you'd never know it was a former restaurant. The lobby area is very attractive, decorated in beiges and cream, and I could see using this for cocktails, a reception line plus so much more. It worked well tonight for purchasing tickets plus an area to sit and relax while enjoying the fireplace. The versatile ballroom is quite large and can handle everything from a wedding, conference to special events. One of those special events is the Holiday Craft Show tonight. The Event Center has a neutral color scheme and can accomadate most bridal or conference color schemes. This proved to be true with all the colors associated with the Holiday Craft Show. Tonight all different color schemes were used and all the crafts looked wonderful. With this neutral backdrop any decor theme would work nicely allowing brides or companies a great deal of flexibility and creativity. The Holiday Craft Show was a huge draw. Many different types of vendors filled the ballroom carrying Christmas decor, wreaths, jewelry, clothing, wool mittens, woodworking projects, signs, candles, crocheted items, lap blankets, floral arrangements and much more. There truly was something for most anyone's interest and many gift ideas. In the future I would like to take an official tour and checkout pricing for a yearly event I'm involved with. This is a beautiful venue with endless potential.

It was one of the most memorable Pride events I've been to presented by Indy Pride due to the unique venue and atmosphere. This past Wednesday, I had another opportunity to visit Tinker House for a Sound Bath presented by BFF Indy. It was a very different experience as the intention was a more meditative one opposed to a party with a DJ the last time I was there. It was still daylight when I arrived and mostly empty which made it convenient and ideal to explore the bridal suite and take pictures of the venue without any obstructions. The Sound Bath was held on the dance floor with lots of natural light surrounding us. I love the idea of the Sound Bath in this fun space. Although, I've had them in the past at a yoga studio which was MUCH quieter. My constructive criticism is that there is too much noise coming from the traffic outside (especially because this was at 5pm during rush hour) even on the second story of the building to relax and get the full benefits of a Sound Bath. There were no blankets, pillows or yoga mats either which isn't necessarily the responsibility of Tinker House but still something to be noted for future events. BFF Indy should have given attendees a heads up to bring their own supplies because sitting on a hard wood floor where people dance and walk on with shoes that have just been outside downtown is rather off putting and took away from the overall experience. The facilitator did an amazing job all things considered. I will go back for events in the future just not if they are supposed to be relaxing. Tinker House is ideal for social gatherings like weddings and parties. The decor is aesthetically appealing and very well thought out. There is a ambient bar/lounge on the first floor in addition to the one upstairs. There is limited parking in front of the building and a coffee shop next door.

In the good ol' days, this is where travelers waited for their trains. It opened in 1888, and looking around you can sense the history and visualize a black and white photo of Union Station in its glory days. When train travel went by the wayside, Grand Hall was left abandoned and dilapidated until it was transformed into a shopping mall + food court in the 1980s. When Circle Center Mall opened up and stole the thunder, Grand Hall was remodeled to become the gorgeous event space it is today. This is a great example of a historical building that in many ways has remained the same but has changed its purpose to meet the needs of the time. A lovely venue for a large seminar, annual meeting, or wedding. I highly recommend you check out Union Station and also take a peek at the train car hotel rooms at the adjacent Crowne Plaza.
