First of all these chicken tacos took me to Church! Delicious!!!!! I usually order the sweet and spicy wings, or the shrimp quesadilla, or the grilled shrimp platter. But today I wanted to try these. LET ME TELL YOU, YOU SHOULD TRY THESE TOO! They are very generous with the chicken! They're topped with lettuce, diced tomato's, avocado, shredded cheese, onions and sauce. I at ALL 3 of them in one sitting! Blew my Mind! Def a 10 out of 10! read more

The Halal Zone - 3 Piece Chicken Taco - Halal Near Me - Elizabeth, New Jersey

The Halal Zone is one my absolute favorite lunch spots during the work week. My coworkers and I come here allllll the time because of how friendly they are and the amazing food. They recently redesigned their seating area which makes more space for indoor dining. They even have a nice wall where you can take some photos. I was so hungry I couldn't wait to start digging in but their combo platters and pita wraps are absolutely delicious. I always have left overs with the platters because of the portion size. While we were eating the super kind lady who works there brought us some cheesecake dessert samples or the Oreo and biscoff cheesecakes. I've never gotten dessert there before but after the free samples I'll definitely be buying some next time I go! read more

We ordered from this restaurant a few ago through UberEats. We did the buy one, get one chopped cheese. We also ordered the chicken platter & onion rings. Everything was delicious and I would definitely order again. Thank you for the yummy food! read more

Friendly service, tasty food, and great prices! Also, I like the decor it's super cute and unexpected! Great place to sit and have a quick lunch if you're nearby. read more

Stopped here for a quick lunch on way to Newark airport. Decent clean seating area, generous portions and reasonable prices. We got the platters, and they had good amounts of protein on top of rice and some salad greens. The chicken was quite nice; the lamb rather average. I liked that they don't douse with sauce; the chicken is flavorful in its own right, but you can get extra sauce for 50 cents. Area is rather shabby (or at least it seemed like that to us being out of state), and there is paid street parking in front. read more

Grilled chicken Platter From $8.99 over basmati rice and salad (Lettuce, Tomato & Cucumber) with grilled Onion & Pepper, White Zone Sauce, Red Zone Sauce (spicy). I ordered from Uber Eats, so I don't know how the service was, but from the way the place told the person who was bringing the food to hold it, it meant the people care about how one gets their food, which is good. This was my first time trying out this place. A friend who always comes here put me on, and well, I finally got to try it and it was a 10/10. The chicken was seasoned, not too salty, and the white sauce had a little something that makes it different from the other white sauces I get from other halal spots. The sauce alone gets a 10/10 . The red zone wasn't too spicy, but man, it was good. It made me want to order another platter, but this time actually go in person to order it, as I found out they sell drinks that seem to go well with it. The pita bread was soft and came with two pieces, just like in the picture. Honestly, I usually don't get the tomato and lettuce because I focus on the main things, but when everything is mixed together, it's a gem . Definitely check this place out if you live in the area or order from Uber Eats. And the best part is, they aren't expensive. I paid about $12.99 for the platter on Uber Eats, but I swear it's worth it. read more

The Halal Zone - Chicken Platter - Halal Near Me - Elizabeth, New Jersey

I would say this is a good community staple for halal food. If you want to grab a quick bite to eat without sacrificing the flavor, this is for you. The food is piping hot versus just sitting out all day which is appreciated. Due to inflation, the prices have gone up though. read more

I ordered falafel pita & fries. The falafel is plentiful and delicious. I requested the special sauce on the side because I wasn't sure if I'd like the flavor. Luckily, I enjoyed it a lot. It has familiar taste, some sort of mayo base, that I can't quite put my finger on. The only "downside" was that they crumble the falafel which can make it a bit messy to eat. The pita is warm and soft, but not toasted so it was still soft when I ate my leftovers. The fries are a miss. It tasted like frozen variety that becomes inedible once it cools. I tried to revive them in the microwave but still tasted like cardboard. The service was really good. We called to request utensils and the guy on the phone was so kind. It was a fairly large group order and he wanted to confirm all of our requests, which they fulfilled perfectly. I would definitely order from here again! read more

I've ordered takeout from them multiple times and they haven't disappointed us at all. There is another halal (well known) spot just a few mins away from home, but we always order from them ever since we tried them. The food is extremely DELICIOUS!!! We have tried their Combo Platters, Tacos, and the wrap..... oh boy... is it a marriage of flavor and quality. The food is affordable, proportioned perfectly and packed with so much flavor. This place deserves 10/10. read more

Their lamb and rice platter is SO good. HBBQ/Crack wings are also ridiculously delicious. I have had their fries, lamb wrap, chicken platter, all super tasty. Good food! The lamb is pretty good actually, however the chicken and shrimp were ok so I have a suggestion for the owners about the chicken and shrimp seasoning. Go to Kabab Paradise or Halal Guys. If you guys change the seasoning to be closer to how they make theirs, you guys would be golden! Not sure if you use paprika or chili powder or both, but seems too heavy on that; the chicken and shrimp need different spices. read more

This place is extremely consistent. I usually go for the pita platters and you can go wrong with it. They're shawarma is delicious and service is as consistent as the food. read more

When I tell you, the BEST chicken tacos I have EVER had. If there's any two things I love it's tacos and chicken.. always been such a huge disappointment every where I went. Sometimes it literally felt like I was shoving dry tortillas down my throat with shredded chicken. BUT THEN I FOUND THE HALAL ZONE! I was at training for work, and they had given us a two hour long break. So, I'm like dang. What should I do? Wasn't really in the mood for anything crazy heavy. So I came on Yelp. Seen "The Halal Zone" and I'm like ha. Sounds interesting. Then I seen they had chicken tacos. The rating is what sold me, even though I hadn't read the reviews. So I drove on over here. And when I tell you I've had tacos from crazy restaurants and food trucks just chasing that void in my soul for the perfect tacos, and have always failed until TODAY! I swear to God, I pray they never change how they make their chicken tacos, cus whenever I'm in New Jersey and craving tacos, I am coming back here EVERY TIME! A legit 10/10. ( I asked her if we could make it spicy in any way, and she said they can add the red sauce for me.... Freakin phenomenal!) May Allah bless your guys' business endlessly! Ameen read more

Halal food is my go to for nights when I don't feel like cooking. We were having friends over and needed to find a food option, that wasn't "fast food", opened late night. This place exceeded my expectations. Everything was flavorful and they give large portions. I give it 5 stars for the food. I can only speak to the chicken platter b/c that's all I have tried. Chicken was real and had little to no junky parts. As for the combo of red and white sauce it made it flavorful and heat was just right. Good amount of rice but light on the pita portion. Again, it was really good. Parking was less than ideal and I would recommend calling ahead. read more

Best platters in this area...find me one better I'll wait....Wings are also top notch. I'd recommend the crack sauce which is a honey bbq.

Ordered honey bbq wings and they were delicious! Juicy chicken and not too much sauce Recommend it!

Decided to try this place upon the recommendation of a picky eater. I got the grilled chicken and gyro platter. Waited about 15 minutes. It's a hole in the wall that has a few uncushioned booths for you to sit in while you wait. Also sells incense, cigarettes, and other random items just in case you're in the market for those too. Nice sized portions and good presentation. My co-workers were admiring it as we waited for our meeting to start. I would come back again. read more
