I got hot pink nails and when I left they started turning purple when I called they said they would fix them when I got there I asked if I should just pick a different color because it was more than likely going to happen again and because he didn't have time (only one person in The entire salon) he told me no. When I tried to explain to him it's going to do it again he then told me that that wasn't his responsibility. I asked for him to take them off and refund me and he then said absolutely no refund. The haircut was a typical haircut, nothing abnormal there; however, the eyebrow wax was a nightmare. Given I do have sensitive skin, this has never happened before. It was very painful. No lotion, aloe, or even rubbing was done after each wax pull, something that every waxer I have ever had has done before. I believe it helps sooth the pain and helps the burns not intensify. My face and eyebrows were red for DAYS! I had to try and cover it up with makeup, but then it started to try and heal by peeling over- yuck! Everyone was staring at it and asking what had happened- how embarassing, glasses couldn't even cover it. I do NOT reccomend getting your eyebrows waxed here unless you want your faced burned for a week straight.

I recently moved to Decatur and was looking for a place to maintain my eyebrows. I've always gotten…read moremy brows threaded, but since I couldn't find threading services locally, I decided to try waxing for the first time. After doing some research, I chose Chic Nail Lounge because it had great reviews, especially for eyebrow services. I booked an appointment for an eyebrow and lip wax. When I arrived, I explained to the technician that this was my first time getting my eyebrows waxed, that I usually get them threaded, and that I was nervous. I specifically asked for a simple clean-up--not shaping or thinning, just a light touch-up. Unfortunately, my experience did not go as expected. After completing the first eyebrow, I immediately noticed that it was much thinner than I have ever had in my life--far beyond a "clean-up." It felt like most of my eyebrow had been removed. This was really upsetting, especially since I had clearly communicated what I wanted. The lip waxing was also not done carefully. There were still noticeable hairs left behind, and the waxing itself felt very harsh. The next day, after washing my face, I noticed that I had developed two small scars on my lip area, which I believe were caused by the waxing process. To their credit, I was not charged for the eyebrow service, and I only paid for the lip wax. I do appreciate that gesture. However, I am now left waiting for my eyebrows to grow back and dealing with irritation and scarring on my lip. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience. As someone new to waxing and new to the area, I was hoping for a more careful and attentive service--especially after explaining my concerns upfront. I hope this feedback helps others who may be considering trying eyebrow waxing here for the first time.

Oh and I love all of the color options :) Jaleesa even takes special orders for press-on nail kits for special occasions. Definitely will be back every month.
