He took the time to look closely and explained that the damage involved a possible dormer issue, meaning a simple roof repair wouldn't be safe or effective. He said that was not his expertise to ascertain that particular issue. Another company was ready to do the job just to get paid, without mentioning any structural concerns. His honesty helped to avoid a costly mistake. It is so rare these days to find someone who puts integrity over profit. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants real expertise and integrity. It was also good for his company's bottom line. Tri-County Roofing and Gutters, please retain Jimmy at all costs.

Provided great estimate summary and documentation. He was patient with us having some starts and stops in making the decision over a six-month period. Then, when we were ready, he brought out the shingle samples to hold up to the house. We pulled the trigger, he put us on the schedule and bang it was done when he said it would be done. They took off old shingles in one day, then shingled it with architecture grade the next day. Then, gutters on day three and we were done. We have a TRANSFERABLE lifetime materials warrenty with 25 years on parts and labor. So guess what? We ain't worried about the roof. Two other companies either never responded or didn't show up for scheduled estimate and wasted my time. If you're done wasting your time and fighting crappy contractors, call Kris and see how good it can get. Oh. And my wife loves it and is happy. Total win!

I am very particular on quality of a job and not taking short cuts on materials. Kris walked me through the whole process and what they use for materials. They are definitely a step above the norm at a competitive price. As you may or may not know replacing a roof makes a mess when you remove the old roof and his team did a great job cleaning up during and after the roof was completed. Very happy with the outcome. I had been collaborating with Frank Dixon regarding the roof replacement issues. I inquired whether Frank's company also handled porch work. Frank played a crucial role in organizing everything. On 5/22/2025 Manny and Julian arrived slightly before 8:30 AM. They informed me of their arrival at my residence. Manny and Julian took measurements for the materials, letting me know they would head to the store and return. They came back in about an hour. I am extremely pleased with the porch replacement. Additionally, I truly appreciated their professionalism and the respect they showed for my property during the construction process. I would recommend and certainly use TRC's services again in the future.

They asked what number of windows we had and then said it would be an extra fee for cleaning the screens. No further details were requested. They provided a decent price and then they followed up a few weeks later. We scheduled for 8 AM this morning. At 8:30. I texted and asked if they needed to reschedule and they said "no that they would be here a little later because they were running behind" then at 10 o'clock they texted and said "I'll be there in 15 minutes." They showed up at 10:20. When he got here he said "oh I didn't realize that you have storm windows and what I call French windows and the storm windows are going to be an extra five dollars and every individual French Window will be four dollars." I told him to walk around the house since it now was obvious that he had not seen the job before he quoted it and told him to give me a price. He came back and the price went from $300 to $1000 and I was told he couldn't even do it today. I told him no thanks, take a walk and then he started cursing at me and told me that I was rude and then I closed the door and heard him say something with the F word. Not sure how I can recommend him to anyone else. Appreciate the follow up from the business owner. I never used profanity or raised my voice. Good luck!
