We love the set up of the villa especially with it being for 4 adults - Me, my hubby, my mom, and dad! We didn't have to be stuck in one hotel room. We had perfect space where we didn't have to be on top of each other. We had a downstairs open living room, dining area, small kitchen, and a bathroom with shower downstairs. The couch even has a bed in it if one needs it. Upstairs is two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom with bath tub. One bedroom had two double beds and one bedroom has a king sized bed. The beds were very comfy, the sheets and comforter were cozy. Only thing was the pillows were very small. We had a view of the creek which was nice and nature-y! The pool was nice along with two small hot tubs which were not hot. They have a park and big grassy area for our dog to play. We were not able to walk the boardwalk and gazebo which looked really nice. At the end, customer service was weird because the person I called to extend my check out an hour didn't know we existed. He said it was because Booking.com and their system did not communicate. Also, I asked for two towels and they brought us two rolls of toilet paper. I was like What?! At least our receipt matched our quote from Booking.com. All in all, we loved our clean roomy villa and would recommend staying here.

It seems like a lot of thought was put into every detail at the Vue and it shows. The shared areas feel clean and seem meticulously maintained: for example the exterior is being pressure cleaned for several months now so they seem to take their time to do things the right way. Although, I don't live here I get the impression that this place is a well oiled machine. The units are all new so understandably everything is updated. Floor to ceiling windows offer a picturesque view of the city and beyond. The Vue is on the outer border of the Central Business District, giving you the best of both worlds. You can walk home after a night on the town, followed by a scenic walk around Lake Eola in the morning for brunch in Thornton Park. Cons: The higher rents are to be expected at this level of quality, however, if you want to purchase a unit the prices are through the roof (surprisingly the HOA fees aren't bad compared to similar condos in the area). It's location can also be considered a con because the intersection needs a more pedestrian feel. For example, the Waverly & Paramount are ideal in terms of pedestrian friendliness at street level. However, as downtown Orlando continues to grow, I'm sure this will be improved over time.

I enjoyed living in my studio, but eventually, I decided to purchase a house. The building is safe, clean, and well-maintained. Most negative reviews seem to come from renters who might be looking for a party atmosphere. If that's what you're after, The VUE is not the right place. The biggest downside for me has been the HOA fees. Since I purchased my unit in 2018, the HOA fees have nearly doubled, and I've faced 3-4 special assessments, which were quite an unpleasant surprise. However, I understand that the building was mismanaged for a few years in the past. If these increases are necessary to maintain the quality of the facility, I'm willing to accept them, as long as it is well-managed moving forward.

No matter how many times I have complained, the problem is never fixed. On top of that, dog waste is everywhere. The moment I step outside my door, I am hit with the smell of urine. This has been going on for more than eight months, and I have had to live with the constant smell of feces and urine every single day. Management also claimed that lightning struck the property and caused the elevator to break down. We were told that replacement parts would take three weeks to arrive before repairs could be completed. Despite numerous complaints from residents, nothing has improved. Who is going to compensate the residents for the loss of basic living conditions and the disregard for our rights? For the amount of rent we pay, this situation is completely unacceptable.

However, new owners took over and as we vacated they advised we gave them short notice to vacate the property and in the contract we provided 59 days notice when it is suppose to be 60 days notice and sent a collections agency after us for $1,300.00. When we brought up the fact we never received our $750 gift card they advised it was not them promising it. But they absorbed our lease and enforced it, but won't enforced the conditions signed for the lease. Truly awful experience, too expensive, we had roaches everyday in our bathroom and kitchen. The office staff only spoke and cared when you brought in rent, but if there was another issue they did not want to hear it. Circuit breaker tripped constantly turning off our air conditioner, air conditioner was never properly maintained and would kick off, then we would go days without AC. Overall, beautiful looking hotel in a great location. however, extremely mismanaged, and inconsiderate to the resident. With all the options popping up in the central Florida area, I highly recommend seeking different options.
