This is what you can expect when you move into "luxury apartments". There were multiple groups of residents complaining about the noise and the amount of people partying in the clubhouse at 1AM. No matter how many times I have complained, the problem is never fixed. On top of that, dog waste is everywhere. The moment I step outside my door, I am hit with the smell of urine. This has been going on for more than eight months, and I have had to live with the constant smell of feces and urine every single day. Management also claimed that lightning struck the property and caused the elevator to break down. We were told that replacement parts would take three weeks to arrive before repairs could be completed. Despite numerous complaints from residents, nothing has improved. Who is going to compensate the residents for the loss of basic living conditions and the disregard for our rights? For the amount of rent we pay, this situation is completely unacceptable.

I can safely say that Ezelle is in the top category, whether it's the lovely walking trails that run around the outside of the complex, the excellent common areas (pool, gym, gaming area, BBQs, fire pit, etc..) or for the incredibly friendly self who always seems to remember my name when I go through. When you lived in an ex colonial Hotel in Kenya where the pool was green it's hard to find fault in a place as nice as this. There are a load of events every month and also food trucks that come to the front of the complex, location is great for what we need it's close to Disney and 192. With any small issues that we've had the maintenance team has been incredibly quick to deal with them, albeit there aren't many because the complex only opened in January. I would and have recommended this accommodation to friends and family The Ezelle staff always greets us and our dog every time they see us, and they even remember her name! Everyone's experience is always very different but ours has been nothing short of positive for the whole time that we have been at Ezelle.

From the very first day I moved into this apartment, I noticed a major bug problem--mainly…read moresilverfish and spiders. I initially assumed it was just due to the unit being unoccupied for a while, but it quickly became clear this was a full-on infestation. I would see multiple silverfish every day, in every room. They even fell from the ceiling onto my bed. I spent hundreds of dollars on traps, dehumidifiers, pest deterrents, and eventually had to throw away furniture to avoid bringing bugs with me when I moved. Despite frequent pest control visits-- many times monthly--nothing improved. The pest control technician even admitted during a visit that other residents were dealing with silverfish eating their clothes. I eventually found traps on my own that helped a bit, but the silverfish kept coming. In addition to that, there were Palmetto bugs, centipedes, ants, beetles, and a massive June bug infestation last spring (the pic of the hallway- the June bugs are all those brown dots). I would have June bugs crawling under my front door every night until maintenance replaced the weatherstripping. Even then, swarms would fly in when I opened the door. When I reached out to management repeatedly, my concerns were dismissed. I was told "Florida is known to have season visitors from time to time". Eventually, after many calls/emails, one person apologized over the phone--but never followed up in writing. I tried to post to the community board, where I politely asked neighbors for advice, and it was blocked by management. Instead they sent pest control again, which as I mentioned, didn't help. I keep a clean home and take good care of my space--this was not due to poor housekeeping. The issue is with the building itself. This situation took a real toll on my mental health. Living with a constant infestation--despite my best efforts--was incredibly stressful, exhausting, and uncomfortable. I dreaded going to sleep not knowing if bugs would fall from the ceiling onto my bed, and spent far too much time and energy trying to cope with a problem that management downplayed. The situation was so bad that I considered breaking my lease just to get out of it--but like many renters, I didn't want to deal with the financial and legal consequences of doing so. I stuck it out until the end of my lease, and now that I've moved into a well-managed apartment, I finally feel like I can breathe again. The difference is night and day. To make matters worse, now they are keeping the majority of my security deposit for a "partial cleaning fee" and repainting--despite the apartment being left in very clean condition with only normal wear and tear. Again, never had this issue with any of my old apartment complexes. I'm writing this review to warn future tenants. This apartment complex has serious pest issues and poor management that disregards tenant concerns. I truly regret ever signing a lease here.

This is my first rental after decades of being a homeowner - so for me not having to deal with home maintenance is a top priority. And the maintenance staff here is fantastic - John or Manny usually show up within hours of me putting in a service request. They even replace the batteries on the smoke detectors when they start beeping. They are proactive about replacing air filters and checking fire extinguishers - tasks that are important, but I often didn't get around to as a homeowner. Love the location - Easy for groceries, restaurants and Disney. The complex is quiet and safe. The apartment floorplans are fantastic, with good size closets and storage. And it really is a beautiful complex - many apartments have amazing views. The office staff is great - I find communication to be good, but I also try to be proactive - they have a lot of units to deal with. If I have a question or concern, I just walk over to the office - they are always happy to chat. It's important to remember that the office staff don't have unlimited power - they have policies they have to follow from both the management company (Rentyl) and the owners - so with some issues the bureaucracy can take time. Ok, let's talk about bugs. It's Florida. There are bugs. My first year there were a lot of bugs - not surprising with new construction. I had some ant invasions, but worked with John and the the pest control folk to identify the problem - some ant mounds outside where the dirt was up against the wall. They treated the area, and John dug out the dirt to eliminate wall contact. No more ants. The best way to deal with bugs is on the outside before they get in, and after 2 years, I think they are doing a great job. Yes, I do see an occasional bug - but not enough to call in pest control. Oh, and here's a hint - unless you hate spiders, if you have some in an out of the way corner, let them be. They eat other insects. What else can I tell you.... It's an apartment - you will sometimes hear your neighbors through ceiling or wall. That's the nature of the beast. The Internet is fast and reliable. Right now I'm measuring 420Mbit/s down, 30mbit/s up. Not fiber, but fine for my needs. Hurricane Milton came through not far from here with minimal damage - we didn't even lose power. So it may not be perfect, but I don't think any apartment complex is going to be perfect - certainly not for everyone. But for me, it definitely deserves the 5 stars. And I think it's certainly worth a visit if you're looking for a rental.
