Took the barista only a minute to prepare the drinks. The service was quick. I loved the flavor of my fruit tea. The jelly and the bobas were fresh and super tasty. I have always liked their drinks, so was very happy to see them opening a store here.

I ordered a mango refresher and it was delicious -- super refreshing and clearly made with care. I also grabbed a donut, which was fresh and tasty. They have a great variety to choose from, so there's something for everyone. Coffee lovers, you're covered too! The only downside was the cleanliness inside. A few tables still had wrappers and receipts on them, and with the number of staff working, I expected the dining area to be a bit more maintained. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something that could improve the overall experience. Still, I'd come back for the service and the sweets!

This was my second time at their Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) location, and it continues to be a wonderful airport find. The service is very quick, and the staff is always warm and kind. I love their avocado toast. The gluten-free bread is amazing, and the feta is a great addition. I always add a poached egg. It makes for the perfect breakfast before a flight. The café itself has limited seating but I haven't had trouble grabbing a spot either time I've been. It has a cute atmosphere, and it's a great convenient stop when you want something quick but still fresh and high-quality, particularly for an early morning flight. They also serve cocktails at this location, which I haven't tried but I'd think are tasty based on Bluestone's specialty drinks. I stuck with a simple cappuccino this time, which doesn't disappoint. Definitely my favorite place to grab breakfast at EWR!

Yum! Unexpectedly good macarons from a stand at Jersey Garden Mall…read more.. I was here late June with my little cousin who with her sweet tooth, of course requested me to get some. All the macarons, lined up by flavors and distinct colors, looked good but you can never tell if its too sweet or too artificial. Fortunately, there were samples and with easy convincing from my cousin, we purchased a half dozen for $15. We got several flavors including Red velvet, strawberry, lemon, rose, chocolate-lavender, and others. I only got to try the red velvet, strawberry, and lemon and the rest went into my little cousins's bag for later. Of these, they were all soft, flavorful and not painfully sweet. My favorite was the red velvet, which had more of a crumbly cake texture but was still amazing. I was told that the actual store will open up in the mall soon and I am excited to try the other flavored macarons next time. Maybe I'll buy my own box so that I won't need to share haha

Another day, another trip to EWR!…read more It was lunchtime at Terminal 3, and the Starbucks line was too long. I had an hour to kill, so I decided to switch things up and try something different. That's when I stumbled upon Zaro's. The line was way shorter, and you can either order at the cashier or use the self-order kiosk. I went with the kiosk because, obviously, I needed time to properly view the menu and I didn't want to be rushed! I got the matcha + an everything bagel with a cream cheese schmear. The matcha... I should've known better. It was way too sweet and didn't really taste like matcha. Definitely not my favorite. BUT THE BAGEL?! SO GOOD. Soft, chewy texture and they did NOT skimp on the cream cheese. The schmear was generous, which is exactly how it should be. There are a few tables, but most were unavailable when I went, so I'd probably recommend getting it to-go if you're in a rush. Final verdict: Skip the matcha, get the bagel and probably try the coffee (?).

The empanadas were seasoned perfectly and the crust was flaky and tender. The bizcocho pulled apart into flaky, warm layers. The exterior had a beautiful crunch to it and it was really perfection.
