    Sausage and pepperoni traditional. Solid.

Spent a quick weekend in town and this is one of maybe two pizza places. Ordered a few pies for pickup. Obviously me, City Boy, in a small town dive, got a couple looks. Friendly of course. Panic set in when their credit card machine was down, as I've had like $6 in my wallet for the whole month. Anyway, they had an atm. Thanked the guy, and got an unexpected "you betcha" back. #wisconsin Pizza was solid. Very much what we wanted. Good, hot, and fresh.

What a joke. Walked in, asked if we could sit in the dining room, was told yes, then sat there ignored for ten minutes.

Very busy place on a Friday night in tourist season. We couldn't find a parking spot in their lot,…read morebut we were able to steal one across the street. With it being so busy, we figured it would be a while. They did tell us it would be about 30 minutes to get a table (we requested outside specifically), but we had barely sat down to wait at the bar to wait before our buzzer went off. Our seat was outside technically, but more in a sun room area. It was not what we expected at first, but we were glad for the windows as the sun went down and the wind picked up. I ordered a Vodka Cherry Lemonade because when in Rome. It was delightful, no notes. For soft drinks though: Pepsi. As basically everywhere around Door County. My Margherita pizza was good, but the crust was not as thin as I would expect for a neapolitan style. The salad bar is included with entrees but not with pizzas. I added it to my order, I think it was $5.99 or something like this? The salad bar was small but it served its purpose. We were there during a really busy time and they were struggling with keeping it fully stocked with the lettuce selection, but we got what we needed. This seems to be mainly a spot for tourists. One local we met made a face when we told her we'd dined here, and said we could have done better. But as a tourist, I thought it was a perfectly nice enough place to enjoy a waterfront dinner on a Friday night.

This is a solid family, casual Italian neighborhood restaurant!…read more Atmosphere They have a nice large bar area - separated from the dining room, which is nice! Nice variety of drinks for everyone as well. The dining area is comfortable - not large, but not tiny. There is kind of an exposed kitchen where you can see some people in there. Casual, perfect for a family gathering. Food Something for everyone. Like I said, this is casual Italian dining. A few different pizza crust options - even a Gluten Free one! I enjoy their traditional thin crust the best (but I tend to prefer a thin crust. This isn't the best pizza on earth, but I don't expect that from an Italian restaurant like this. They don't do just pizzas. Solid pizzas though, with lots of variety for toppings. They have some good pasta options, too. Can't go wrong with their baked mostaccioli. Good apps, too! Their apps are definitely like bar-food type apps (lots of fried options). But they'll do the trick. Service Good service - always pretty quick for food and everyone is attentive!

The pizza has scallions, pesto sauce, and balsamic glaze in addition to chicken, mozzarella, and tomatoes. It was a great combo. I did mark it down because service was a bit slow, but I do recognize that it was very busy and there were many large groups ordering around a similar time. The inside is nothing special, but it does have an old school American Italian feel, which is homey.
