Love the Johnny Cash and overall music theme. So much to look at and enjoy on the walls, on the ceiling and coming out of the speakers. Mostly 60"s music playing the day I was there, but there are tributes in the forms of album covers or actually record's from the 60's, 70's and 80's everywhere. Lots of them that I once had... and now wonder where the heck they are now!

The building is cute, some might say quaint, and it has an interesting story which you can read…read moreabout on your menu. The bar area, where you wait to be assigned your table, is very small - uncomfortably so. The atmosphere is generally nice; not fancy, not shabby. The food is decent but not great. The breaded perch is not something I recommend. The dumpling soup (with no meat) is ho-hum. The salad bar is fair and offers a nice bang-bang pasta salad. Every sandwich option is served on a bun which has cheese baked into the top; there are no options for buns without cheese (not a great setup for those not enjoying, or able to enjoy, cheese). The level of service from the waitstaff is poor. When I ordered a chicken sandwich, and asked for no cheese on the sandwich, the waiter did not have the skills necessary to think, "Hey, if he doesn't want cheese on his sandwich, maybe I should mention the cheese-covered bun." Big fail there. Furthermore, the same waiter didn't bother to ask if anyone who ordered the all-you-can-eat soup and salad wanted more soup. He was really too stand-offish and not conscientious enough. I do not recommend this place. The prices are way too high for the quality of food and the level of service is subpar. If you want a top-notch dining experience, with better food at better prices served by better quality staff, try the Northbrook in Luxemburg.

It all started with my wife calling and asking if they took reservations......Gina answered the…read morephone and was both helpful and pleasant. When we arrived for dinner, the parking in front was packed..... That's a good sign. The restaurant occupies a very large footprint, actually it's quite enormously. Seating choices are reminiscent of Goldilocks and the three Bears...... Tables for large groups, smaller tables and even booths that we found were just right. Outside seating is offered too. The booth offered a view of the many large screen televisions and of the brewing vats that were clearly labeled. My lovely bride wasn't sure which brew to try and Gina said "I'll bring you a sample".....it was their Cool City Light Lager...that was outstanding. For myself I ordered a traditional Wisconsin, Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet that was excellent too. It now was time for food choices and there were many choices. We choose Loaded Nachos, with a Cool City twist. Nacho chips with beer cheese, pico, chives, avocado, and bell pepper crème. A very unique combination that was great and kudos for originality. For dinner my wife ordered the Slider Burger Flight, three mini burgers with unique toppings (I could list them, however it would be better if you used the link to the business) Suffice it to say the mini burgers were the most generously sized and a take home box was needed. For myself it was the Cedar Planked Salmon that came with fries, slaw, tartar sauce and the best buttered rye bread. The food, service and selection.... all were outstanding! Gina showed such pride in her restaurant and went above and beyond to create a wonderful dinner experience. I highly recommend dining at Cool City Brewing Company.

Zero complaints since their opening!!! Well, ok, just one. Sooooo many customers one night sadly ended our visit. NOT their fault, just their popularity!!! Additionally, staff are SO SO SO nice! Since COVID, some folks are afraid of working at Pubs & restaurants so I'm guessing , 90% of them are short staffed. Don't hold it against ANY pubs and restaurants, be patient. Bartending put me through college and now? No tax on tips, wow See my photos!
