When walked into the Emser showroom it was truly overwhelming! My head was spinning from selection overload. Thankfully, our daughter, who happens to be a FIDM graduate, accompanied us on this outing and was a huge help in narrowing down our choices. She has a superb design eye and worked well with the Emser rep. The staff was very friendly and we had the good fortune of having Krista help us. First, we tackled the kitchen design. We opted for shaker cabinets in a blue/gray color, quartz countertops, porcelain wood look flooring, and a geometric grayish backsplash that looked like jewelry. We've used three different tile/granite co's in the past and were very disappointed with demo, tile work and poor cleanup, and housekeeping. We immediately liked Moudy and read reviews on Google and Yelp. It was quick for scheduling maybe a week or so lead time. We were only going to do one bathroom countertop at a time, but Moudy pointed out we would use and waste half a slab. The demo team was so gentle in dismantling our countertops. They papered off the cabinet facing and the mirror frame. They made a great effort to be clean and gentle, and always nice and tidy at the end of the dau. We've had some very rough demos in the past where they knocked giant holes in the drywall. The result was that we had to replace all the drywall where they removed tile. With Giza, we didn't have to repair any drywall. As it turns out, the demo team is the installer as well. They were such nice guys. They asked questions on my preferences for things such as caulking, etc. Very, very nice job. They even did the first sealing for me. I highly recommend Giza and will only call them for my future work.

We had a tricky flooring issue with about three and a half inches of drop in some areas and met with a few general contractors who mostly complained about how hard it would be. Robert actually took the time to understand the problem instead of trying to upsell us. He showed up about 15 minutes early, reviewed the situation, asked the right questions and set clear expectations for what realistically needed to happen. We got a clear, no pressure quote and an honest game plan. Easy to work with and someone I'd absolutely work with again. There is a reason they have 5 star review on Yelp and Google.

We've been wanting to add real backsplash to our kitchen for quite some time. Reached out to George who was responsive and professional. He came to our house the following day to give us a quote and had us on the schedule for the job. He suggested to remove the existing couple of inches of backsplash for a cleaner install and to position the tiles vertically to highlight the design. He also suggested to use dark colored grout to accentuate the streaks on the tile. He used the upstand he removed and cut it to make a window sill for our kitchen window too. I can tell George is a very artistic person and it shows in his work. For someone like me whose creativity is almost non-existent, I'm grateful that George gave his suggestions along the way. The install was very clean and he laid protection on the floor and the kitchen surfaces. In my opinion, the quote was fair when you consider the level of worksmanship and his professionalism.
