This is the first review I've ever written. I'm usually the type of person who is happy to just…read moreread reviews and never felt the need to write my own, until now. I like to look up reviews for businesses I shop at. When I read the last review, I couldn't just sit back and ignore it. These women did not pick up and leave without telling anyone like Chris says. They moved around the corner to a MUCH larger and MUCH nicer store because as they say they were growing a lot faster than they expected and outgrew their little shop. They even took out a large newspaper ad to announce their move. Why would someone take out an ad if they didn't want people to find them? They are not crooks and did not disappear with anybody's stuff. I am both a consignor and a customer and I have never ever had a problem getting anything they didn't sell back, which honestly isn't much since they typically sell 80-90% of the stuff I bring in. I've even been late in picking up my returns and they still didn't donate my things, which they could have according to our contract. Plain and simple, they are hard working ladies looking to make a few bucks for themselves and their customers. They seem to know their stuff, too. The last place (Mine Street address) was run down and rinky dink. It was decorated nicely, bit was too small and not appealing. I shopped and consigned there anyway because of the reasonable prices and great service. Let me tell you, this new place is really nice. It's roomy and spacious. It;s very welcoming, not cold like a big box store. And they have everything displayed so nice. The selection is amazing and always changing. If you're in the area, check them out. Even if you don;t consign with them or buy anything you;ll see some pretty cool stuff you won't find anywhere else. Give them a try and decide for yourself if these ladies are the type of women you want to do business with.

This store is the best! My mom health is not the best, so we are moving her in with us. We…read morerecently had a garage sale to help liquidate her belongings since they won't all fit in our modest home. We sold a decent amount, but still had tons left at the end. My husband wanted to trash or donate it, but I remembered hearing about a local consignment shop that works similar to sold it on ebay, so I figured I's see if I can get a few more bucks to help her out. Boy am I glad I found this place! The owners were very nice and very knowledgeable. They take 25 items per appointment and pay better than any other consignment store I know of. There is no cost to consign and at the end of 90 days will either return anything not sold or return to the consignor. So, anything not sold costs me nothing! I was a bit skeptical about how this worked and was afraid they would sell my stuff for dirt cheap. They reassured me that part of the cut is theirs so it is in their best interest to sell for a fair price. I brought 25 items that I anticipated would sell for $10 - $15 each and was hoping they would be able to sell half of it in 90 days, which would mean I'd make about $100, which seemed like a good test. This was 60 days ago. I just got my first check this week. They already sold 21 items of the 25 items I brought and my check was a LOT more than I ever would have expected for what sold! They sure do their homework to price things right so they'll sell "For What It's Worth". I'll be back and will refer my friends and family. No more garage sales for me!

Sage is an insanely cute boutique right on Main Street in Flemington. The photos that are shown on…read morethe page currently are of their old location and the new location is not far down the road so just give them a call if you have trouble finding the shop. It's packed with unique clothes, designer bags and tons of gifts. You can also pick up anything from socks, candles, mugs and coasters to baby clothes, beanies, dish wear and serving spoons. My mom loves coming here for my Christmas gifts and I am never anything less than overjoyed. Not that I am ungrateful, but I am pretty picky with clothes and I'd say I am tough to shop for. Man does that feel good to get off my chest. Some of my favorite finds/gifts throughout the years have been a Rebecca Minkoff bag and sweater and a few really unique pieces of jewelry. I've been coming here since I was in high school so the actual is a lot longer than that. Most of their stuff is on the pricier side but they do have occasional sales so maybe keep an eye out for one of their holiday markdowns or sample sales. I stop in when I am back in town every once in a while and don't always end up buying something but love just looking around. The owner is sweet and helpful and now that they have a new location, the dressing room is really comfortable. Stop in and look around. Now that the holiday season is fast approaching, you might see some great finds for gifts.

Brought a 18K gold bracelet my father who passed away wore for the last 30 years. He had Steve…read morecarved out of the center gold block that was on it rather than having it engraved. I brought it in to have the Steve part melted down & put into a piece I can get engraved, as I was quoted a price of $400-$500 to donate requested work for me. Afterwards I was told I'll still have to take it to New Hope to have it engraved, in which I will have it engraved of course. Afterwards 3 weeks of them having the bracelet I called to find out when it would be ready. I was told they were working on it the exact moment I called. 2 days later I received a call saying it would be $475 and it was ready for pick up. I went to pick it up, they offered to take less than 1/2 of the spot price of the gold off of my total bill. When I asked the woman to please weigh the total weight of my bracelet that was given to me in my father's will and is extremely sentimental to me, the response was 36 grams. I had it weighed when I brought it in and it weighed 42.1 grams. Somehow 5 grams from my father's bracelet "disappeared". After several searches online I discovered a worst case scenario would be them having lost 1-2% of the weight. .4-.8 of a gram (.8 being a worst case scenario and poor craftsmanship). While looking at it and trying it on, the clasp was literally put on upside down and will need to be repaired somewhere else now. (Not a simple repair, which I'm not even sure what that will end up costing me). After very simply realizing that the impossibility of 5 grams of 18k gold missing from my father's bracelet left to me, the clasp being put back on it upside down. I was told that I could take my upside down clasp bracelet missing 5+ grams of 18k gold home with me without having to pay. I'd much rather have had the job done correctly & pay for it then receiving something that is one of the few physical treasures I have left, my fathers bracelet returned to me in need of repair weighing 5+ grams less. Where the worst case scenario would be .4-.8 of a gram loss, which was discovered after an easy Google Gemini search, and searching through multiple websites. I was going to leave the bracelet with them and take things further. As it was blatantly obvious that the 5 grams of gold that disappeared more than likely was not the 1st time to have happened. I did not have to pay the repair costs because they lost over 5 grams of 18k gold. As well as my bracelet literally having the clasp put on upside down, so no repair was completed in the 1st place, only it needing a repair now whereas it didn't when brought in, only needed a simple change so I would be able to continue wearing the bracelet as my father did for so many years.. If this was something I purchased for myself, something not as sentimental as it truly is to me, it would still be a kick in the face a bit financially. As 5 grams of 18k gold spot price is $100 over what they were asking me for the chain's size and change needed ($475.00). If you have anything that is of value whether monetary, or sentimental do yourself a favor and do not use this store. Not only bad workmanship with my receiving the bracelet back with the clasp backwards. But finding out that somehow 5+ grams of the original 42.1 grams bracelet brought in was now 36 grams. The bracelet now needs to be repaired once again because of the backwards clasp, as well as being 5 grams less than when I dropped it off. I'm beyond disgusted, and urge anyone thinking about using this establishment to go elsewhere so they can avoid theft, poor workmanship, and their very quick response when I easily discovered something was terribly wrong that I could just take it home for free, rather than leaving it there and hiring an attorney (which I did not say to them), but I was beyond extremely close to doing so rather than bringing it home with me with their very quickly going to "you don't have to pay for the work". Well before my even getting upset with them, which by all means I currently am just more disgusted and feel so terribly taken advantage of. Yet 5 grams of 18k gold that went missing certainly was more than my bill was to now having my bracelet where the clasp has to be repaired somewhere else. Any property of yours that's sentimental as my gold bracelet is to me, having its value diminish both monetarily & sentimentally. I simply cannot urge anyone looking for jewelry services to find somewhere else to go to enough! Every aspect of the service received is still surreal to me & the only thing I can think of worse would be them having lost my bracelet or outright having stole the entire thing rather than the 5 grams mysteriously disappearing, and setting the clasp back in upside down.
