My dog had being going there since puppyhood -- never had any issues and was always calm around the original owners/groomers, Michelle and Jessica. First time I took him to the "new" Tuxedo Bark Club, was the last time. When I went to pick him up after his grooming, he couldn't get out of there fast enough! He was agitated, visibly shaken with his ears down, ran to me and began to pull me toward the car. I asked if something had happened. Naturally, no one knew anything. If you know your dog well, like I do, then you know what I'm talking about -- behavior that drastically changes like this is a BIG red flag! I cannot recommend them at all!

I dropped the dogs off on the way to work and picked them up afterwards. Unfortunately, the last time, I'd forgotten my checkbook. They would not trust me to return with a check the following morning, but instead, refused to give me my dogs until I returned with their check. This meant a 45 minute drive home and back. As you can guess, that was the last time I took my dogs to this groomer!

Do NOT bring your long-haired dog here…read more I am absolutely appalled by the grooming service my dogs received. I have two shih tzus and, knowing how much skill their coats require, I made multiple attempts to call ahead and confirm that this groomer was equipped to handle long-haired breeds. It was difficult to get anyone on the phone, but when I finally spoke to the owner, I was assured that they could manage the job. I explicitly requested a simple trim: faces, ears, and feet Had the owner herself groomed my dogs, perhaps this review wouldn't be necessary. Unfortunately, someone else did -- and the results were beyond unacceptable. I picked them up between work appointments and was in a rush, so I didn't examine them closely until I got in the car. I was stunned. Both of my dogs had bald patches on their faces where there had previously been full coats. Their appearance was so jarring. This was not a minor miscommunication or a matter of preference -- this was a clear lack of skill and care. If you have a long-haired breed and value their grooming look elsewhere. This place is not equipped to handle the job, no matter what they tell you on the phone.

We had been bringing our dog here regularly since they opened almost 5 years ago. This made this…read moreexperience particularly disappointing. His most recent grooming was extremely uneven, with visible clipper tracks, areas on his belly cut unevenly, and bald spots behind his front legs. I've included photos so people can judge the grooming for themselves. What was even more disappointing was how our concern was handled. My wife called to calmly explain what had happened, and rather than having a productive conversation, the owner became angry, raised her voice at my wife, said our dog was no longer welcome, and ultimately hung up on her and canceled future appointments. Why not just agree that the ball was dropped and try to make it right with a long time customer? We've spent 1000s at their business in the last 5 years. I brought our dog back in person so the owner could see the haircut. We requested a refund of the $100 grooming charge. After some initial gaslighting, She ultimately refunded 50% or $50, explaining that the bath and nail-cutting services had still been performed. I think it's fair to mention that resolution. We understand that mistakes happen. What ultimately changed our opinion of this business wasn't just a bad haircut for our dog--it was the way a longtime customer's legitimate concern was handled. Unfortunately, after this experience, we won't be returning. The disrespect shown to my wife by the owner, and the way a legitimate concern about poor service was handled, is completely unacceptable and unbecoming of a customer-facing business owner. Good luck, Kate.

Stella jumps out of the car for drop-off to daycare, so I know she loves it there. Everyone is happy to see her and she seems comfortable with everyone.
