I ordered a cajun chicken bayou and she had a meat lover. We took our pics a bit late, as you can tell. But both were amazing. I also had a side of french fries and a side of slap sauce. Both the sandwich and fries were carefully made. I could tell that they pride themselves on producing a great food. The Chopped Cheese was full of flavor, the fries we're fried crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The flavorful Slap sauce was the perfect accompaniment for both. It's good enough to slather on anything. I plan to stop by the truck soon as I'm out and about. Great value.

Social media posts drove me here, so excellent job on that!…read more It was a pretty good foodie experience, but I wanted more flavor from my food. The food truck is parked close to the welcoming center in Southwest Detroit at the entrance from Canada. There are outdoor seating areas in the vicinity where people could walk or drive to and enjoy their food if going home is too far. This is the kind of food that you'd want to eat hot and right away. The service/wait time was on point. The ordering/pick-up was smooth. I ordered the asada fries, a birria taco with consume, and birria Ramen. All items were good, but not amazing. They each could've used much more flavor. The meats seemed low grade. If better ingredients were used, these items would have been much tastier. I also expected my total to be a little less if I'm comparing this food truck to others in the area. With all of that said. I would go back for the Ramen, bringing a bottle of Sazon with me.

Stand at the ABE event 2025 this year…read more Finally decided to try it out, about 6-8 folks in front of us, line moves quickly and food is out quickly too. Ordered 1 of each: Reuben, chicken and crab Rangoon. $21 Took a condiment of each available dressing: sweet chili, ranch, thousand. The Rueben was half empty, had to bite down to half of the roll before getting to any meat. The chicken roll was only about 2/3 full. The crag Rangoon was 2/3 full, mostly cheese, not much krab. The Rangoon was the better of the 3, mostly because it's cream cheese and you just can't beat cream cheese at all. The Reuben and the chicken were both okay. A lot more hype than I would have expected for what I experienced.

Egg Roll Diva has been on the rise over the last few years. Belinda Beard, the Egg Roll Diva…read moreherself, started the business during the pandemic. The original recipe was passed down to her from mother. Now, she's been featured on the local news 30+ times, and even had a concession stand at Little Caesars Arena. More recently, she won a $10,000 grant from Michigan Women Forward, and is using the proceeds to purchase a second food truck. The menu features 6 egg rolls, garlic parmesan French fries, and regular fries. I tried all of the egg rolls aside from the vegan option, and also the garlic parm fries. The fries had a soft texture and were very cheesy. As for the egg rolls, my personal ranking is below: 1. Jamaican Jerk Chicken 2. Corned Beef 3. Peach Cobbler 4. Cheeseburger 5. Southwestern Chicken The story and concept behind Egg Roll Diva makes it what it is. Simply put, if you don't like egg rolls, than Egg Roll Diva isn't for you. If you do, it's a fun and worthwhile expierence to try them all and compare.
