This is my absolute favorite nursery in all of Oklahoma City area. Worth the Drive people know what they're talking about in our so helpful.

Weather has been alittle rough so far this year and flowers are showing it. Some did not look as good as normal here. We did go ahead and purchase Rose Moss and hope it perks up. A few others to plant in front yard totally like $71.00. No where near my normal purchase I need. Will just wait a couple weeks to find more. This is no fault of The Greenhouse. It's a beautiful place. The prices on some seem higher. Need to find sales at local lawn n garden stores. read more

The Greenhouse is a wonderful plant supply! They have all kinds of pots and soil too. I was looking to start my food garden. Immediately upon walking up, they had the vegetables out that are ready for planting now. They each had a sign and QR code. A wide variety of onions, fruit bushes, potatoes, I had some questions, and I'm not sure if the young man was the manager or owner, because he said "when I get those in next week", but he went with me to help me choose some good strawberry pots and a good kitchen herb pot. He helped me with advice and was just incredibly helpful. I'm very inexperienced with gardening. They have wagons, so if you need one, you can ask or you'll eventually find them on the south side of the nursery. I highly recommend visiting. They have expensive to affordable prices and I enjoyed the variety. read more

This property is absolutely beautiful. It's clear the grounds are cared for with intention and pride--every plant is healthy and well maintained. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed entirely by the woman working the front. This establishment is not kid-friendly. I visited with my two daughters (ages 5 and 6). When they noticed the cat, they were understandably excited. The cat was briefly startled, then--within less than a minute--was lying on its back, relaxed, actively playing with their stuffed animals and engaging with them. There was no distress. Despite this, while I was attempting to discuss fountain options, the front desk attendant interrupted me eight times to comment on my children interacting with the cat--who was literally laying on them. The interruptions were excessive, unnecessary, and condescending. We just walked out and she laughed and said "Have a great day". She had dark hair, assuming no children by the way she spoke to my kids. I came with the intent to purchase a fountain. I was told there were "not many available," which was demonstrably false. In the back area, there were well over six fountains, three of which I was seriously considering. I was particularly interested in a three-tier fountain priced around $2,300. I am still interested in purchasing it--however, I have zero desire to interact further with that employee. There was a man tending to the plants in the greenhouse and was very friendly and kind to my kids. To add to the unprofessionalism, she made an unsolicited comment about the property being a "local homeless hangout at night," which was both irrelevant and inappropriate. This review would be five stars based on the property alone. The low rating is solely due to the front desk experience. Management should be aware that one person can undo the value of an otherwise exceptional business. read more

I had no idea this place existed. I don't drive anywhere near Hwy 9 since it used to be so dangerous, but today I made a trip to Atwood's and my mouth dropped when I saw The Greenhouse across the street. I just had to stop and go in real quick. To be fair, I am not much of a gardener but I can appreciate beautiful gardens. My mom had the greenest thumb when I was growing up and she always had the most amazing planters and garden statues. I had always wondered where she was picking those things up. Beautiful nursery, but ruined by toxic front-desk lady. My family and I have visited The Greenhouse only 5 or so times, spent a decent amount of money here. We absolutely love the plant selection and the amazing field staff and other cashiers are so kind! My daughter daughter loved seeing all the flowers, animals and fish in the pond. Its a magical place for little girls. Unfortunately, we will not be returning due to the woman working upfront. She is incredibly unprofessional, rolls her eyes, acts visibly distraught, makes uncalled-for, rude comments and seems genuinely angry to see customers (especially children). She seemed very upset that my mother gave me her points and even more upset that I used them. I have never been in her line or even had her as a cashier and I have literally let other people skip me in line just to avoid her, yet she still finds a way to make things miserable from afar making snide remarks After reading other reviews, it is clear management knows about her behavior and chooses to do nothing. This nursery is truly a gardener's dream. Their succulents section was like a wonderland for me. We were in Norman running a groceries errand so I asked the husband to take me to a nursery in the area for a succulent hunt to add to my small but growing selection. The Greenhouse was the first that popped up on my google search with excited reviews that talked about their succulents of which I needed no further persuasion. As soon as we pulled in we could see that the place was popular as there were many cars and people swarming it. We decided to park on the side of the small road as their parking lot didn't appear to have any available space but didn't feel that parking was inconvenient because there's ample space along the small road. I was already excited when we looked at all the huge selection of beautiful pots and planters in various sizes outside. As we entered the greenhouse area I noted how packed it was with so many greens and vibrant blossoms. Normally I'd just walk straight past everything and head for the succulents but everything was highly eye catching I had to stop and appreciate all the wonderful looking plants and flowers around me. I told the husband I felt like we were visiting a botanical garden! As we continued on it was apparent that the place is humongous. Shoppers were armed with red wagons (what a cute idea!) and every now and again we'd bump into a doggy here and there. Too cute! Even the pups were allowed a stroll in this wonderland. When we finally found the succulents corner, oh my, I was ecstatic! They had loads and loads of beauties. The huge cacti/aloe plants (I don't know a thing about cactus) at the corner in their display was quite a sight to behold. Even the husband was in awe. I managed to pick up only a couple of new kiddos, unfortunately, as my preference are the smaller 2-4 incher plants. But getting to see all the varieties there was a treat nonetheless. The queue at check-out was a little busy (it was a sunny Saturday after all) but it filtered quickly with the efficiency of the cashier who wore a nonstop smile on his face. My friend and I are plantaholics and our usual goto was a disappointment. We live in Edmond but had heard wonderful things about this greenhouse and decided to make a day trip. BEST DECISION EVER! We absolutely LOVED IT! This will be our new goto spot! They have numerous greenhouses and outdoor plant displays! We found so many plants from both of our wish lists! The prices are very reasonable. I have not seen better selection anywhere else in Oklahoma! We are in LOVE! Even her two girls loved the coy pond and have already been talking about making another trip. We left very happy and will be returning very soon! The staff was wonderful as well. If you're not into fresh greenery, they also have fake plants and numerous pots for sale, along with blown glass and fountains. Today was my first visit to The Greenhouse and you can bet it won't be my last! This place is amazing! It's like walking through a gigantic garden, complete with coy pond. I recommend this nursery without hesitation. It looks small from the outside and I had low hopes for a good house plants selection, but I was so wrong. Their greenhouses are huge remind me of walking through Moody Gardens in Houston. The plants are HUGE and so healthy and they had so many varieties I had never even seen. I spoke to two different staff members, as well as a younger woman that I think was the granddaughter of possibly the owner, and all of them were so sweet and helpful. Like any high humidity area, there were some mosquitoes, and they offered bug spray at the front to prevent getting any bites while browsing. I was so amazed by the indoor greenhouses that I never made it out to explore the outside plant areas, but will definitely be back. They also have a great selection of pottery, both from decorative items to stunning Pots and planters that I had never seen before. I purchased a Halloween decoration that is handpainted and very large and will look great at my business, and it was very reasonably priced. I wish I had taken more videos and pictures to help explain how beautiful their greenhouses were, but I was in such awe of how huge and healthy everything was that I forgot to. 100% recommend and look forward to coming back. I also read through some of the very few negative reviews from over a year ago from customers who felt rushed by their staff, and I did not experience this at all. I actually spoke to the woman at the front for several minutes about how they keep their greenhouse warm in the winter and the humidity high enough, but still without any fungus or mold noted to any of their plants, and she explained this and offered pointers and suggestions on my upcoming conservatory build. While I was speaking to her, another customer had asked about potting mix and wanted a small bag for the plant she was purchasing, and they did show her where this was, but also had offered to repot the plant right there for them, which is a service I've never seen a greenhouse offer before and which is incredibly helpful if you do not have a need for a large bag of potting soil. It also ensures that the plant is potted correctly, which can be a little daunting, when you are new to health plants. read more

There selection is limited as well as workers. From the moment I walked in I was never greeted or asked if I needed any help. I realize I look homeless but rest assured I'm not. Well does anyone have any suggestions on a place I could get not only service but indoor plants? The owner is a Karen calling the cops because someone wanted to spend money. Very odd!!! She admitted to not having plants. Also she was very hostile. I realize I'm a man that's shopping and I'm not their Normal white lady walking in. I'm also Latino and I feel this place is not only bigots but racist. I'm a disabled veteran and very ashamed of this businesses disregard for people and lack of respect for all Americans. read more

They have the healthiest plants. By far the best greenhouse and the best priced greenhouse I have ever been to. They have a huge selection and the prices are comparable if not cheaper than your big box stores. It looks like it would ne small from the outside, but it's a decent size and they make good use of every space with their gorgeous garden decor and their plants, flowers, bushes, and trees. They have plenty of wagons for customers to put their items in. The only complaint I have is parking. I usually go during the week and you can park close because it isn't busy, but on the weekend you may have to park on the side street which, depending on how busy they are, can be quite a distance. I told myself I would wait until next month to buy more plants but the urge wouldn't go away. I came out with two plants today. My usual plant nursery is really far from where I live, so I decided to try and find a closer one to explore. Wow, this place is amazing! Their greenhouses extend way further down than what I was expecting. I was on a mission to browse their houseplant selection and they did not disappoint. Aside from the usual peace lilies and pothos, they had philodendrons, money trees, fiddle leaf figs, rubber trees, peperomias, snake plants, and more! I swear the time I spent walking around was close to an hour or so. I had difficulty picking who to take home with me. So I bought two :) if anyone is looking for the Chinese money plant (UFO), they have those! I was so tempted because they were so cute, but sadly I'm more interested in plants that grow tall right now. My rubber tree looks like it's got some powdery mildew on it, but I believe it just needs some TLC. I tried wiping it off with a damp paper towel and some has started to come off. Careful walking through the aisle, I saw a lot of webbing. The two men who helped answer my questions were very nice. Here's hoping my babies thrive. read more

You know that you are truly welcome when you pull into a parking lot and one of the employees greets you and tells you about their 20% off everything sale before you even get out of the car. Yes that did happen. We pulled in and a woman had us roll down our car window and told us about the sale. Funniest and most unexpected welcome ever! :) The actual business is much MUCH larger than expected. So give yourself plenty of time to have a stroll around the expansive property. There are 3 greenhouses, 2 store buildings (1 is connected to the gas station), several beautiful fountains and even a great pond (filled with colorful koi fish!) They have a selection of pots throughout the property. Wide variety of plants. There are trees, bushes, flowers, herbs, etc. everything you could possibly want with reasonable prices. I love it here. It's gorgeous, the staff is so nice, and there's even a super affectionate cat and sweet dog that's on the property. It doesn't look to big from the front, but you could get lost here. So many houseplants, if you're into that, and perennials and annuals spread out all over the property. Plus, their response to COVID19 is better than I've seen some other places: sanitizing used pens, plexiglas barriers surrounding the front counter, and employees wearing their masks even outside in the heat if they're near anyone. read more

I just returned from The Greenhouse. I have been there several times and have never thought anyone was friendly. Today, I was not spoken to or acknowledged even once. There were 3 women that I know worked there, one was at the front desk eating a piece of pizza when I walked in. She looked at me and never spoke as did the other two. Beautiful tropical plants create a lush setting, with the sound of running water from numerous fountains and garden statuary adding to the ambiance. You can easily move the decor around to suit your needs. Considering the flexibility afforded by this setting you can create a fabulous event with a little imagination. I recently attended a wedding at the Greenhouse. The event was top shelf all the way, excellent food, great music, wonderful fresh florals for the tables, plenty of table seating and music with a dance floor. It was very romantic and felt like a wedding in the tropics. It is obvious the wedding couple gave a lot thought as to how to turn a retail plant store into a unique, memorable, and fun venue.
