Several plants weren't properly installed--some were barely buried or just sitting on compacted soil under the weed fabric. I had to replant them myself. They extended a bed beyond my property line without asking, broke irrigation lines (which I had to find and report), and didn't water in the new plants. The sod they laid was mostly to fix my neighbor's yard after their mistake. I didn't want a confrontation--I wanted a job well done. But looking at their replies to other critical reviews, there's a clear pattern: no accountability, just excuses and personal attacks. You can make your own judgment from that. I could add more detail, but I just want people to be aware of the poor workmanship. The job looked fine in photos but failed under basic inspection. I gave them a chance to fix it--they didn't.

Crews arrived hours late with no communication, cut my internet line, covered/broke multiple sprinkler heads, left gaps and debris, and still tried to bill me before fixing anything. Even after the owner admitted the work was subpar and promised it was fixed, I was left with a leaking irrigation system. Their "repair" guy said there was no leak, yet water was pooling and running into the street. Multiple follow-ups to the owner went ignored. I'm now paying another contractor to fix their mess. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid ISG at all costs.

The result was not what we requested, and I ultimately had to go outside and remove what he installed and redesign the rock bed myself using the measurements I originally gave him. I gave him $900 for a sod order, but shortly after receiving the payment the order was cancelled by him because "we aren't ready" when really it was because he kept saying he was coming to do work then not showing up or communicating he was no longer coming as scheduled. Communication was very poor. He frequently did not show up when he said he would and did not notify us when he wasn't coming. He also brought his uncle to pour concrete. They stated they would coordinate rerouting the sprinkler line, but that never happened. When he turned on the sprinklers, I specifically asked him not to turn on zone 4 because the new concrete was there. He turned it on anyway, which cracked the brand-new concrete. At that point our yard was left dug up, rocks were placed in areas we never requested, and the overall condition of the property was messy. We decided it was best to part ways. When I requested a quote for the work that had already been completed (trying to be fair), and to use the $900 cash we paid for the SOD that was canceled by him. He initially said $425 would be returned. Shortly after, he changed that and said I should give him an additional $100 because the work was "hard." then he eventually tried say it should just be $225. So ultimately, he wanted $675 to half way grade the back yard and lay rock where we didn't request it. It has now been three days of being told the refund would be brought to our home, and he still has not refunded anything.
