I called them and within a couple of days they came out on Thurs, gave me a quote (and a VERY fair quote), and were here Saturday to cut the tree down. They started at 7:30 and were done w/ the tree by 11 and done grinding the stump by around 11:15-11:30. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. I have 2 more trees that I need cut down and I'm 100% using Arbor for them. They were very fair and very trustworthy. There was a board that broke on my privacy fence...not their fault. The fence is beyond needing repair, but they replaced the board as well. They hauled everything away and even picked up the smaller limbs and twigs. I know there are only 8 reviews, but there's a reason they have a 5.0 rating.

While trimming trees next door…read moreto my elderly parent and disabled brother, they cut down a bush/tree on our property without permission or warning. This tree was intentionally placed in the front yard to block visibility into our home and provided a habitat for multiple hummingbirds. It was completely chopped up and it is going to take years to get it back to the beautiful bush it was. We did not hire this company and did not authorize any work on our property. When I was contacted afterward, the conversation was confrontational, and I was asked for a receipt--despite the fact that we were not their customer. In my opinion, the work done on the neighboring property was also poorly executed. The bushes along the side of the house were cut into awkward tree shapes rather than being maintained as a proper hedge line, which looks unprofessional and unsightly. While I am not a horticulturist, I was raised with strong guidance in this area from my grandfather, who was highly respected in the field. Overall, this experience was upsetting and avoidable, and I would urge others to closely monitor any work being done near their property.

So Mr. Early McCall was out here this morning taking a look at our pines. We have notice a very…read morestrange and very unsettling thing....happy healthy pines going from fully green and living to dead in a matter of two weeks. Liberty landscaping said we could trust Mr.McCall to tell us what was going on with the trees and how to fix it. I called Mr. McCall yesterday and he came out today and gave us the bad news. We will need to get rid of the ones that are dead and the ones that the bugs have started munching on. We could opt to try and save the last pine in the row but it's just a risky save since the whole row of pines has been compromised. After the bad news, Mr.McCall then walked the property with us and explained some of the trees we have and any potential issues. He also told us of some bugs that are permanent residents in a few trees based on their deformities but that is no reason to take a tree down. Trees can live a long life with their bug friends. Mr. McCall also gave us an idea of which trees to thin out so that the best trees could thrive. In the past Mr. McCall was part of the forestry service so this is definitely a gentleman that knows his trees. We are certainly happy to have met this tree expert and can without a doubt reccomend him to anyone in the area. He does travel to Jacksonville so do no hesitate to call him. We were lucky as he does live in our area, so if your a bit out of the area of Nassau County you might have a little wait for him but he's worth it.

Plus the elimination of a small diseased Bay tree. I called Young's Tree Service as a new customer. From my initial meeting with Shawn Young the owner, I was confident that they were very competent. They are licensed and insured and Shawn's wife is a certified arborist. The two man crew arrived at 8 am the very next morning and got right to work. They were very competent and answered whatever questions I had and verified with me the scope of work and whether I approved of the way they were trimming. They had all the required tools and equipment for the job. My wife and I are very happy with the work completed and feel we were charged fairly.
