We were very concerned about planting in December, however, he repeatedly assured us we had a "12-month growing season." While we did not really believe that, he was a professional landscape architect, so we trusted. About 6-8 weeks after our install, we had a series of frosts, one down to 17 degrees. Roughly 1/3 to 1/2 of our newly planted landscape bit the dust. We lost all our big beautiful double bloom azaleas, our buddleias, and numerous other flowering shrubs. He offered to let us repurchase those plants at his prices. After spending over $10,000 for the initial job, we could not justify spending a penny more on that project, so we ended up having numerous large blank spaces, which we tried to fill in over time with other things. Lesson here: twelve month growing season...BS. Do not pay anyone to landscape in the winter, no matter what they say.

In addition, they made sure all wiring was properly buried. Steve Teal is a professional and honorable man. He researched and was in touch with the manufacturers of the old lights in our front yard as well as the six new path lights. He got all of them replaced under manufacturer's warranty (they were all 5+ years old). Had we not gotten those warranties, this would have been a very expensive job. Cannot say enough about how pleased we are with Beautiful Blooms or how strongly we recommend them. This is the type of business and the type of people with whom you want to do business.

They tell me on the 29th of April they have transferred my service to a new company, without consultation, starting the 2nd of May. As you might suspect I have already mailed the check to them for the month of May, go figure. By the way they managed to raise my rate $50, two months ago so in essence raise the rate, increase their valuation prior to the move and dump the customer. While I did like their service, their approach to this move leaves a lot the be desired in terms of notice. USE CAUTION THEY COULD BE GONE TOMORROW WITH A 3 DAY NOTICE! Hoping the new company as is good as Beautiful Blooms says they are.

Several plants weren't properly installed--some were barely buried or just sitting on compacted soil under the weed fabric. I had to replant them myself. They extended a bed beyond my property line without asking, broke irrigation lines (which I had to find and report), and didn't water in the new plants. The sod they laid was mostly to fix my neighbor's yard after their mistake. I didn't want a confrontation--I wanted a job well done. But looking at their replies to other critical reviews, there's a clear pattern: no accountability, just excuses and personal attacks. You can make your own judgment from that. I could add more detail, but I just want people to be aware of the poor workmanship. The job looked fine in photos but failed under basic inspection. I gave them a chance to fix it--they didn't.

I have used Serenity's for almost every home service they offer and Ive always been blown away every single time at how amazing their results are. Ive had them clean the inside of my house, detail my car, and have used them for landscaping and they have always done a 10,000X better job than any company I've used in the past. All I can say is you get what you pay for, and I will neverrrr use my neighborhood kid to cut my grass again on the cheap(sorry Bryan! haha). There is a HUGE difference in the quality of work and the team at Serenity's is top notch. They wont leave until you're satisfied and every detail you've asked for is done. Highly recommend them for whatever home care you need, they are the absolute best! I live in Camden county GA by the way and they come all the way up here from Jax no problem. While trimming trees next door…read moreto my elderly parent and disabled brother, they cut down a bush/tree on our property without permission or warning. This tree was intentionally placed in the front yard to block visibility into our home and provided a habitat for multiple hummingbirds. It was completely chopped up and it is going to take years to get it back to the beautiful bush it was. We did not hire this company and did not authorize any work on our property. When I was contacted afterward, the conversation was confrontational, and I was asked for a receipt--despite the fact that we were not their customer. In my opinion, the work done on the neighboring property was also poorly executed. The bushes along the side of the house were cut into awkward tree shapes rather than being maintained as a proper hedge line, which looks unprofessional and unsightly. While I am not a horticulturist, I was raised with strong guidance in this area from my grandfather, who was highly respected in the field. Overall, this experience was upsetting and avoidable, and I would urge others to closely monitor any work being done near their property.

My sprinklers are on a timer but wouldn't turn on. After trying what I could and not fixing the…read moreproblem, I called Manning Irrigation. The earliest appointment available was mid-April so I confirmed the date. They called me about 2 weeks prior to the appointment date saying they have an opening and could come today. I was extremely happy by that. They came out and I told them what was happening and that it was possible I cut a line while doing some digging. After about 20 minutes they found the line I cut and repaired it. They also checked the sprinklers for me to make sure they worked properly. They replaced one sprinkler and I also asked them to set the timer for me. After all that, the bill was $126. No extra charge for replacing the sprinkler head (which I had in stock) or programing the timer and tidying up the wires. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism and honesty. I will be calling them for all my sprinkler needs.
