Even through the COVID19 pandemic the Green Monkey continues to be a neighborhood favorite. Hell yeah I have BINGO continues on Tuesday nights via zoom. Thanks Rusty for your great sense of humor, welcoming attitude and honesty about what this pandemic means to the Monkey Tribe and fans. Curbside pickup, delivery, and shipping is available for beer, ice cream (highly recommend!) and unique gifts. Can't wait to see the renovations once we are allowed back into Raleigh's Best Neighborhood Bar!

Update: I have returned twice and both times I was welcomed warmly and attended to. I feel the owners take pride and ownership of their business and I'm impressed. Thanks Green Monkey! **************** This little LGBTQ+ space is pretty cute. There is a beer and wine list that anyone can find something they like on. If the list doesnt do it for you, there are several refrigerated rows with all types of beer to choose from. The gift shop focuses on trickets with witty, sarcastic, and LGBTQ themed quotes. Keychains, socks, coasters, necklaces...etc. they have a couple individual designers with jewelry and such for sale as well. The main draw for this local bar are interactive nights: karaoke, improv comedy, trivia, wine tastings, etc.. They also host a lot of meetup events for LGBT groups and other groups. No DJ or music, but friendly vibe. My lack of stars is honestly due to the fact that I always feel under served when I go (I have been there 3 times now). The first time I was virtually ignored waiting in line for a beer. I'm not sure why they treat some people (I am assuming regulars) with super friendly service and go out if their way to break down an introduction to the bar and options for some people and I always feel like I'm grasping for basic inclusion. I am not a loud person but I'm an extrovert and am comfortable in new spaces and by myself. Would like to see them treat customers equally and not just the ones that catch their attention.

I'm from California and came for a conference, I was trying to find a Raleigh souvenir shop and found this place with great reviews. I got some souvenir stickers and shot glasses. Bought myself a strawberry fruit ale and I'm not a beer person but this ale is very sweet and the strawberry flavor was not a disappointment. I might try to come back before my flight and try another beer. Friendly environment.

What a great place!! Super chill hangout with lots of yummy adult drink options. They have an amazing collection of gift items. Like super cute gifting idea items. Staff was so sweet and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

Local watering hole at it's best. Welcoming as can be. Great beer and wine. Lively events all week long. The tap list changes all the time, so new beers are always available. Good selection of cans and bottles as well. No mass market beer here. All quality craft, with a deep selection of local North Carolina brewers. This is my local beer stop whenever I'm in town.

Stopped by this great shop the other day as an employee was setting up the outside display. She did not hesitate to stop and share everything I needed to know about the place. It's a gift shop/wine & beer store/feel-good hang out spot all-in-one. It's random, yet well thought out and organized. This may hard to imagine but even empty, early in the morning, it felt fun. You can find t-shirts, trinkets, great gifts like bath salts, local finds and awesome craft beer and wine. I knew I'd be back but it was confirmed when I learned about the weekly wine and beer specials. Even got a chance to wave at Rusty the owner - who while on a call did it with a smile. This is one of those places that makes you want to Shop Small all the time. Can't wait to go back, buy stuff and hang out.

I found this one last second with about a half an hour before closing 11 minutes away from us. So we sped off get there in time. When we got there and walked through the little pink door, it was the cutest little shop. So my friend is visiting from Scotland and we wanted to get some kind of necklace or piece of jewelry that matched. They have a great selection. We opted for some lava rock bracelets that help with communication, truth, and strength. I grabbed a little shot glass that said North Carolina on it because I have to have a trinket from every trip I make. When we were checking out, she said that somebody wanted to donate a basket to somebody that they had bought and wasn't gonna pick up so we ended up getting a free basket from Krystal! That was the sweetest thing. We were like two little school girls opening it up and dividing all of the little snacks inside. So thank you for making the end of our trip wonderful!!

GPS brought us to the parking lot behind the building. There isn't clear signage to direct you where to go. We managed to find our way up the stairs and into the building. There are a number of businesses located inside. Lucky Tree is super cute. It's set up to encourage working, with plenty of charging spots all around. There is a variety of seating, from long wooden tables to smaller individual areas. We ordered a chai latte and golden milk latte, both with oat milk. Both drinks were good. Fyi there is a separate entrance from the side that takes you directly to another smaller parking lot.

I loved the cheese on top! I was not a huge fan of the flavor the almond flour gave them but it was not overpowering. I would probably get them again! They had a lot of options as far as specialty lattes but I am glad I went with the Vanilla Maple. I was worried that the maple flavor would be too much but it complimented the vanilla well. The inside was VERY well decorated, and I would've loved to stay and do a little computer work! I could see myself coming by and sitting down for a quick brunch, meeting up with friends, or staying for a work session.

Do you not really cook and yet want guests to compliment your 'cooking' when entertaining?…read more Be like me, and come here to pick up only the best curated cheeseball and cracker mixes, popcorn and nut mixes, and cocktail mixers...because no one needs to know how easy it was on you. Also they sometimes sample out a mean rum punch, y'all, and I want the recipe. Meanwhile, you end up browsing the plethora of goods, from floor to high ceiling, and your teen thanks you for her new buttery soft socks and you come home looking fabulous in a faux fur poncho you never knew you needed. They even carry oil paintings from local artists, one of which is now a delightful addition to our holiday decor. I also noticed a nice university gear section - we just have to figure out what side we're on. Whether you're for Pack, Heels, or Devils, there is a particularly posh selection of college gifts here. I like their people too. They'll hold all your stuff for you when you came for one thing but keep browsing and picking up more. The owner is like that classy auntie who's more fun than you and knows where to get all the good stuff, so you don't have to. And they gift wrap! Bottom line: This store makes me happy. Go visit and sample the spicy crackers.
