This is my second visit in a month. I really appreciate Don's efficiency, helpfulness, and professionalism. I was dreading having keys made, it seemed like it was a pain finding a place and then getting a place to do it correctly. I felt it's a good value too. Don can make keys, open locks, change combinations, does master keying and has a full retail shop. He was even able to stamp one of my keys so I could tell them apart. Didn't even know that was an option. Don is a Super Star!!! read more

The Green Key Locksmith - New key - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Oregon City, Oregon

Went to The Green Key first time ever. Upon walking in I was greeted and felt very comfortable. I needed Keys made for my RV to start and for the locks for outside storage areas. The keys were made quickly ( think i blinked) for an excellent price. I can not believe I never stopped in before to have keys made all these years passing right by them. We tend to go to one place and not try the guy we pass by. Highly recommend you stop at "The Green Key Locksmith" the next time you need one of the services provided. I very much appreciate the excellent customer service! Thank you. read more

I only go to Green Key! Don't waste your time going somewhere else only to be disappointed and taken advantage of. Through our business needs we have used a quite a few different locksmith's and each one has tried some shifty business practices by using used tumblers and parts, charging outlandish visit fee's just for them to say nothing is wrong with the lock now pay me. Don at Green Key has been nothing but up standing and honest. He's not going to up charge you if he doesn't think you need it. I don't know how many times he has just given discounts to free work because the problem wasn't that bad on a lock and took him very little time. Or the keys were so many that he just throws in these extras keys no charge. On top of that the guy know his craft! He is very knowledgeable, and I have yet to find a lock issue for him to get stuck on and not be able to help us with. No other locksmiths compare Green Key. Besides running a good and honest business, having great knowledge on his craft and even willing to teach he is just a friendly guy to chat with while he is cutting your keys or working on why your lock is acting janky. Green Key is the place to go if you have Locksmith problems. It's worth the drive even if you're not in Oregon City. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Don! read more

Every non commercial and commercial locksmith I went to wasn't able to make copies of the key I had. But this place was amazing! Made a bunch of copies and was super friendly and helpful. Will be going back for any other key I need to copy! read more

This place is great! Great service, great prices, and great selection! I needed keys made. Home Depot and Fred Meyer couldn't make them. This place did quickly and with no problems. They also charge way less. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. 5 stars!!! read more

I stopped by here rather than going to the big bucks store close by for some key copies. I'm sure glad that I stopped by, the owner was super friendly, the price was affordable and I'm glad I was able to support a local business. read more

What a blessing to have been referred here. Such a cute local business with an impressionable owner (I assume) by the name of Don. Appreciate his customer service and work. This was not a typical key copy situation. My son had broke half of his key in the trunk of his car. So I brought a key that I had taped and glued together to this man and he managed to pull it off- made a copy and it works! He guaranteed that it would work and it did. Thank you Don. Support small businesses it keeps the economy flourishing and keeps food on the table for families instead of furthering large corporation monopolies. read more

Fixed my truck canopy on the spot for a very fair price. Now I can work next week with peace of mind knowing my tools are secure. Support local business! read more

Stopped in here to get another set of keys for my RV. I had been to several other locksmith shops and nobody had all 4 I needed. He had every key I needed in stock! I was amazed to see just how many keys he had behind the counter. He had skeleton keys, Citroen, Alfa Romeo, Rolls Royce, Opel, VW, Porsche, you name it I bet he had it!! He even had trim rings for the outside of car door locks. I had never seen a shop with these before. I talked to the owner Don for quite a while. Very nice guy with interesting stories. I have several old locks with no keys, he said he can make new ones!! Not a simple task. I will be coming here for all my keys from now on. read more

Don the owner of green keys is one of the most friendliest fellows I have run into him a long time. He didn't bat an eye before making all of our keys just the way we needed them. I cannot recommend having your keys made here enough. Thank you so much Don! read more

Lost my spare key to our sports car... hate not having a spare. Put the main key in my pocket and went out for motorcycle ride. Found Green Key Locksmith open on a Saturday and said "what the heck, let's stop and chat". Outstanding service; fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Had a programed chip key ready to go in a short order. Then, I decided to throw the owner (Don?) a curve ball. I needed spare keys for my motorcycle hard bags; Givi and Shad brand. These bag manufactures (Italian) are known for not using a standard blank. Don(?) looked around for a few minutes and found a blank he "thought might work"... Well it did. Two new keys and I'm set. Best locksmith ever... and did I mention great service? read more

Green Key has a huge supply of key types so he can probably duplicate about any type of key. Much better than Home Depot or Ace if you need help with your keys or locks. read more

They have a large collection of older locks. They were able to salvage from an older Emtek lock and save me a lot of hassle in potentially replacing multiple locks to get a match. Check with them before you jump to replacing something. Once I got it to him it was fixed within 5 minutes. read more

Stopped by to get a copy of a key made. Had a good experience. Locksmith is very friendly. I Will be back. Thanks!

Recently spotted a sign for a Locksmith on a regular driving route through Historic OC. The original OC (Oregon City)... A new business addition couldnt be more welcome than my experience today. The owners knowledge & assistance with my complicated auto key issue was outstanding. 5 stars for excellent service and help with keying needs. If you need help with keys; Green Key is the place to go. read more

The guy's awesome. This trade is going the way of the dodo, consider tipping the man... He spent plenty of time with me figuring out a sticky canopy lock on my truck. In the end, only charged me $4 for a new key, I paid him $10. read more

Don was a real pleasure to work with. He instructed me on what I had to do to remove my locks and bring them to him to be rekeyed, and it worked exactly as he told me. He even loaned me some Allen wrenches to help with the job. A very good businessman and a very pleasant fellow. read more

Don rekeyed nine locks at our hose last year. Honest, reliable, knowledgeable, affordable. Even though he is no longer doing mobile service we continue to go to him for all of our key, lock and accessory needs. Pleasant and always a pleasure to visit him at his shop. Super fast and helpful! I was in and out in 10 minutes with 8 new keys.

Green Key Locksmith is 'the' place to go for all your key, lock, safe and related accessory needs. Don knows his profession and goes the extra mile to do things right. I have had key and lock needs twice recently, and Don has met and exceeded my expectations both times. Most recently he was able to disassemble, clean, lubricate and make keys for the trunk lock on my 81 year old car, that's right a 1937 model! It would have been easier for him to say something like they don't make those anymore and get me out the door, but no, he went to work on the lock immediately and in a short period of time got it working, and made keys for it, using original key stock. His prices are very reasonable. I need to ad, while waiting, he has great vintage reading material in the waiting area, as well as children's books, interesting old pictures of the area to look at, and an assortment of key rings, holders and chains to fit every need. Genuine quality service at fair prices, that describes Don and his Green Key shop. read more
