This dry bar tucked into the busy Covington streets turned out to be a chill oasis. The bartender was kind and so open to chat with and left us thinking... can we be friends with her?? Our group ordered the 10 dollar flight. The bartender dutifully told us that the Kava is more of a wellness shot, a little bitter and tingly. To round out the flight I got the Strawberry Basil (2.5 mg dose) and Blueberry elixirs. Overall this place draws in an alternative crowd looking for some variety in their happy hour. read more

I loved the vibe and the low lighting. We sat for an hour or so and had great service. Our waitress explained the menu countless times and was always happy to do so! I valued her advice and got the blackberry flavor. My only complaint would be the random DJ tucked into the corner that made it hard to hear some people within our group. Drinks are so good here. We have been here twice had to come back wife begged me. They have music at nights sometimes and chill vibes other wise. I didn't know there was a Cannabis Dry bar in Covington. It's fairly new and just opened up. Our friends wanted to check this place out so bad that we had to join them. I was definitely curious. They serve THC, CBD, KAVA, KRATOM, Lions mane and uninfused. From specialty drinks, mocktails, seltzers, and pours. Depending on your mood. They have something for everyone. Whether you need something to give you a boost, lift your spirits, anxiety, ease your stress, or just want to try it for the first time. The staff is there to answer all your questions before you commit. You must be 21 to have the THC infused drinks. A couple really good friends of our had mentioned this place before. They specialize in non-alcoholic, THC, lion's mane, and CBD based drinks and cocktails. My lady and I were definitely interested to try it too. We were truly impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is very laid back too. Their drink menu is loaded with different options containing either CBD, THC, adaptogens, kava, or kratom. They also offer spirit sampler flights of three if you can't choose just one. Here's what my lady and I had in our flights: -Mellow Mash (THC) -Agave High (THC) -London High (THC) -Looner Canna (THC) -To Be Honest (CBD) -St Ember (Lion's mane) It was interesting and unique to try these spirits on their own and each one had a different palate. The agave high was my personal favorite because it mirrored a tequila with a squeeze of lemon. The St Ember was my second favorite because it was smoky with a ginger finish that didn't overwhelm. The mellow mash was my third favorite because it tasted like a sweet toasted marshmallow. These drinks will mellow you out nicely without getting you drunk. a REAL third place in the city that doesn't revolve around alcohol, pretense, or self-destruction. been coming here for a few weeks now, and each time I leave more convinced this spot is exactly what's been missing in my life. it has made me feel very happy/confident with my recent move to the area. The drinks are thoughtful--made with kava, kratom, botanicals, mushrooms, and rotating new ingredients that actually make you feel something without the crash or regret. There's a real sense they're building out a true menu, not just throwing powders in water. Their alternative cocktails keep evolving. You can tell they're paying attention. The owners are also always there and always willing to have a conversation/invite feedback on their servings. The staff? Nothing but kind. Not fake service-industry smiles, but present. People who treat you like a human and remember your name. That shouldn't be rare, but it is. Actual human beings that talk like actual human beings are the folks who work here. We (those interested in a life without alcohol or those who just want a non-rowdy bar as a third place) need more places like this. Places that let you exist in the in-between hours without having to drink yourself into the night. The Green Door is just in its infancy, but that just means it's in the most exciting stage, the beginning--a quiet, glowing little answer to a question of non-alcoholic third places, focused on alternative, healthy drinks that can still get you buzzed. If you care about seeing and experiencing a unique/exciting new method of getting that 'buzz' without the feeling of poison (alcohol) then you gotta stop by. Try a THC seltzer, natural kava, or my favorite--some dragonfruit and kratom drinks. My only wish is that, with more regulars coming in, and their customer base growing--their hours will be later into the evenings + 7 days a week! The Green Door has a really cute setup. The staff were friendly, service was excellent. As for the drinks, ugh. I like the idea of an infused mocktail but their drinks are expensive and have very little effect. If you are looking for a THC or CBD buzz it's very underwhelming. They offer snacks but they are no different than convenience store packaged snacks. For this place to survive, they need to offer more. They need hot food or a better variety. They also need to serve alcohol. I get that this concept is supposed to be alcohol free but the cost is not worth the product. My friend and I were the only people in there on a Sunday (yikes). Great idea but needs to be in a location that can serve real infusions and not delta 8. read more

First off, I was immediately greeted by the kindest and most knowledgeable staff, like, EVER. Never having been to an establishment that offers this kind of experience (I don't think there's anything even comparable close) I wasn't sure what to order. My Tender explained everything they offer thoroughly and helped curate a cocktail that wasn't only delicious but easy on the mind. This place has good vibes in every direction. From the beautifully colored walls to the dainty drink garnishes. There was a band playing the night I was there and I stayed longer than I even intended too. Best part? Such a creative and chill environment. they have a fun variety of gluten free and healthier option snacks that taste really good. the drink menu is very nice to look through and I always get a buzz from the THC drinks.
