Booking a venue tour will be the best thing you do, and it will be unforgettable!! For my husband and me, it was love at first sight. The second the Villa came into view as we drove through the Hill Country, we knew it was the one. Their open houses are also a wonderful opportunity to experience the venue in all its glory and to meet their wonderful team and vendors. The Villa is family-owned and operated by an incredibly kind family, The Mauldings. Amy, the owner, has excellent communication, and her son Andy is so personable. You can trust them to ensure that your wedding day is as seamless as possible, and their recommended vendors are amazing!! We highly recommend Villa Antonia to anyone looking for a venue that combines breathtaking beauty with exceptional service! You and your guests will genuinely feel like you're in Tuscany in Texas!!

The nostalgic aesthetic, the multiple rooms and floors, the ballroom upstairs, the balconies, the view of the capitol building, and the twinkling lights on the oaks on the lawn made for a romantic and chic celebration that our friends and family still talk about! Caswell House and the team behind it (shoutout especially to Kelly Treybig) were a dream to work with. The rates are affordable, and the venue is very accommodating, even with our more DIY approach. If you're looking for an event venue in Austin, Caswell House is exceptional. Highly recommend!

Once we arrived, walked around, and talked to Julianna (wedding planning binder in hand) we just loved the place. It was our first stop and nothing beat it! Settling on a date, and understanding the plethora of rentals included (tables and chairs for 150+ guests) just made the decision that much easier! Juliana was so warm and kind, and worked seamlessly with our coordinator (Mockingbird Lane Events-truly another amazing wedding must-have!) When we requested an additional half-hour for our catering staff, the transaction was quick and reasonable. Getting married during a global pandemic is sure to cause some headaches, but there was never any issues with communication with Juliana and ensuring we moved forward. My father even contacted her over a year ahead of time to help with research for hotels since majority of our guests were from out of town. She provided a list and professional suggestions about what was worth our time and energy. The Allan House was absolutely perfect for our quiet, classic yet laid back style of wedding. This backdrop made all of our guests look even more stunning, and the tree lit up at night was gorgeous. Highly suggest The Allan House. Addison Grove is one of those wedding venues that makes you walk in and immediately think, *"Yep,…read morethis is it."* The Hill Country views are absolutely stunning--like, no filter needed, your photographer will be thrilled kind of stunning. Sunset here deserves its own round of applause. The space itself is gorgeous without trying too hard: modern, stylish, and surrounded by nature so your guests can sip cocktails while pretending they're in a lifestyle magazine. Whether you're saying "I do" or tearing up the dance floor later, every corner of Addison Grove just works. And let's talk about the staff--absolute pros. These people run weddings like a well-rehearsed Broadway show, but with way less drama. They're friendly, organized, and somehow manage to make everything look effortless while keeping couples calm and happy (a true superpower). Bottom line: Addison Grove delivers incredible views, top-notch service, and a wedding day that feels smooth, fun, and unforgettable. Brodie has a private parking lot which is great as we all know parking can be a pain in the ass in the city sometimes. The lush landscape makes it perfect for photo ops for any occasion. What really stood out to me was the silo-esque aesthetic of this dance hall. I kept admiring all the attention to detail. There's an extension adjacent to the dance hall which is most ideal for your food if you choose to have a buffet style. The main entrance has plenty of room to have bars and a sign-in table. If you're planning to have a more intimate wedding but want the wow factor, then Brodie Homestead is winner winner, chicken dinner.

Chapel Dulcinea has the quirkiest, most welcoming magic to it. It honestly feels a little like…read morestepping onto the grounds at Hogwarts--everywhere you turn, there's some little nook or cranny, some unexpected detail, some magical thing to find. There are walkways paved with marriage bricks from donors, hidden corners to explore, and even a wizarding academy that both of my girls immediately wanted to join. I had to remind them, "That is not what we are doing today. What we are doing today is making sure your sister has an idea of how we're going to decorate for her wedding day." But honestly? My girls did not want to leave. One of them had pickleball at 4:30 in Austin and completely missed it, and my very pregnant daughter had already skipped her nap and still hadn't had lunch. I kept saying, "Don't you need to go play pickleball? Don't you need to go take a nap and eat?" Nope. They still didn't want to leave. Yeah. It's that kind of spot. There was something to find around every corner. There was beer being served at 1 p.m., and the whole place felt so relaxed and joyful that my very pregnant daughter almost considered taking a drink. Even the door had a door sign. Which honestly? Perfect. It's a sign. On a door. About doors that are signs. I saw the signs, y'all. You should definitely book here. It's free, beautiful, and you're never gonna wanna go home. I also had the chance to watch a bride and her family trickle in, and it was truly magical. The chapel itself is beautiful, but the whole experience felt bigger than the building. It felt warm, human, peaceful, and full of story. That day, I also met both Ana, a photographer connected with Chapel Dulcinea, and officiant David James Nutter, and both left an impression. Even though I didn't watch Ana actually photograph the wedding, I did get to watch her set up and talk about the chapel with so much care and warmth. Later, I looked at her wedding photography online, and her work is breathtaking. Truly. It has the kind of beauty and tenderness you would expect from someone who is not just talented, but deeply caring. She also offers her services at a very decent price, which honestly says a lot about her heart. Her work looks like luxury, but her spirit feels generous. I also met officiant David James Nutter, and hearing his story was incredibly moving. We spoke about how he grew up in the Orthodox church and how that journey shaped him into someone deeply committed to serving people from all walks of life. His warmth, kindness, and openness stood out immediately. He listened thoughtfully as I shared parts of my own story and even followed up afterward with supportive messages. That kind of care is rare. If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers more than beautiful scenery--one that creates space for meaningful moments, welcomes officiants like David and Ana with quirky discoveries and authentic connection--I highly recommend Chapel Dulcinea. And if you're specifically interested in David as an officiant, or Ana as a photographer, feel free to message me through Yelp. I'd be happy to share his contact information. Oh! I almost forgot! Dogs are welcome if they are well behaved and on a leash! Pics for attention

The views are stunning pretty much any time of year, just perfect for amazing Hill Country photos, and you don't need a whole lot of extra decor...nature has it covered. We brought in only 2 black metal lanterns donned with candles and florals and perched them on the wood stumps on either side of the bell tower door at the front the for the ceremony, and it was perfect in every way.
