    Very rude and irresponsible service in Golf Mart in Del Mar store. I had PXG putter problem and need to repair it. I called PXG and told me that I will have to take the putter to Golf Mart where I ordered. So I gave the club to the store and left club to ship it to the company. It has been 8 days so I called PXG to find out when it will be ready, but I found out that it hasn't been shipped at all. Basically the club was in the store whole time covering with dusts. When I went to the store to find out what is going on, the guy, seems to be the manager, pointed finger at me and told me aggressively saying that "You are the one who has to ship it NOT me. We DON'T do the business with PXG!". He also said that he called me and left a massage on Tuesday day (2 days ago) which was 6 days after I left club at the store. I never got a call and a message at all. I called PXG customer service at the front of store, but the PXG representative didn't understand what that mean by "WE DON'T DO THE BUSINESS WITH PXG" and should be able to ship it. I told him that I confirmed with PXG for return club location and they specifically told me to leave at golf mart. I asked him if he called me last Tuesday or this Tuesday. He told me that it was this Tuesday, so I asked him why he waited for 6 days to call me. He said that he wasn't in the store. If he wasn't in the store, nobody take care anything? If he is out for a long time, then nothing will be taken care of? I asked him if he wasn't there for long time, how did he find out about the putter and call me? If he really came back on Tuesday then he could say "I called as soon as I came back or something", but he couldn't respond my question and a few second later saying "What do you want from me?". I immediately noticed that he was lying and trying to cover his mistakes. That is why he was talking to me aggressively at the beginning. I told him that It is irresponsible and he told me " WE DON'T NEED CUSTOMER LIKE YOU!". I got really upset and started yelling at him. There was no yelling and improper words before he said that. Only thing they care about the selling goods. Not sure if that guy has the problem or there is problem with whole store. For sure that he is not the right guy should deal with customer and manage the store.

    I've been a WGS customer for years now and I've never stop being amazed at the amount of customer service every department puts out to give us the most, not just for our money but for our overall shopping experience. I've made friends and great acquaintances over the years. From club sales, fittings, repairs and all other things golf. Which leads me to this awesome location. Over the last 13-16 months, when I come to San Diego to visit family, I've made this Golfmart my favorite place for the same reason I stated above. The staff is always welcoming, friendly and willing to assist, no matter how small the purchase. Today, Sunday, 8/7/22, Kenny, who I met for the first time, was exceptional. Extremely welcoming and eager to assist. He showed honest interest for my being there and although he admittedly had no knowledge of my questions on how to pure a shaft, he immediately referred me to the club fitter, Anthony. Again, Kenny is that person that makes you feel welcomed and addresses your questions with enthusiasm and honest interest. Anthony was busy with another patron, so I browsed the store until he was available. Some 5-7min later, Kenny waived me over & I started to ask my questions about a video I saw that explains Callaway's optifits unique way to pure a shaft. Here's the link: https://youtube.com/watch?v=QOxdaQwaKfI&feature=share For what ever reason which still rattles my brain, I couldn't understand Anthony's dismissive, arrogant attitude towards me right from the start, without knowing a thing about me or who I am. As I was telling him what I was hoping he could help me with, he just said I was wrong & that it couldn't be done. As I tried to explain that Shawn Clement, a Callaway sponsored and famous YouTube, Golf Channel instructor was the one who discovered this tweak, Anthony just kept saying it couldn't be done, barely letting me finish a sentence. He told me to call Callaway to see if that's possible and even after I told him that not only did I call Callaway, so did Shawn Clement (who confirmed to me that he had told Callaway of his finding). Anthony just pointed to the optifit, saying if it's not set up like it's done from the maker, it's wrong. I had to give up trying to get him to at least show some interest in what is possible. In all the years I've been to WGS stores, this was the first time someone treated me like I didn't belong there. Very weird since he and I are both considered "minorities." On the other hand, Kenny should be acknowledged for being an excellent example of customer service. He and the other team members will be the reason, when I visit San Diego, I return to this location when needed, Anthony needs serious customer service skills training. He obviously has a talent for club fitting or what ever else he does but he should maybe avoid interacting with people until he learns to smile, for one and learn to appreciate the opportunity he has to be of real service to others. In every basket of fruits there's always one that tastes a little sour. Maybe it hasn't ripen yet and it may need more time to develop its flavor. Smile Anthony. It changes lives. You might like it

    Jake at golf mart Del mart was extremely helpful in purchasing my new irons. I highly recommend him to help you with your golf equipment.

As soon as I started playing with it, my game off the tee fell to pieces. Switched back to my old driver and everything immediately improved. I mentioned this to my sales rep and they said to come in any time for an exchange. I was busy traveling internationally for a bit and by the time I came in a couple months had passed and they let me know my "perfect fit" warranty was expired. Long story short, I was sold on getting a new driver that hurt my game and cost me $1000. Their trade in prices are also garbage compared to the market. I like the idea of Club Champion, but indoor track man data just doesn't translate to the course all the time and their prices, shady tactics, and overall treatment of customers is remarkably poor. Would NOT recommend this company in general.

    Been going here since it opened and absolutely love it every time…read more Have been getting my haircut with Kody Tamayo for a few years now and always been extremely happy with the cuts I get, ranging from simple skin fades to mullet burst fade. It's a fantastic looking store with immaculate vibes and always a joy to come here, talk with the boys, watch something on the tv, or peruse some clothes. I really dig the vibe going on here and the decor and clothes they offer. They also have free Topo Chicos (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) which is a great touch and I always take one. Scheduling an appointment is super easy through Square and I've had no problems with it, but really like that I can see upcoming schedule and reschedule if I need. Location is great too and I always find free parking on the street though they do validate in the lot right next to the shop if you'd like (free for 90 min) but not worth the hassle for me. Overall amazing shop for both haircuts and golf shop. Highly recommend!

First thing I noticed was the aesthetics were visually pleasing. Kudos to the design team. We were warmly greeted by Grant. It is a very small golf atelier, with a barber shop setup in the back. I was impressed that they had golf apparel for women. Way to be inclusive. I browsed the boutique and purchased a hat and water bottle as a gift. Grant quenched us with Topo Chicos as we departed. I highly recommend golfers and loved ones of golfers check it out. You are sure to find something you need

    First time at Rusty's Surf Shop in Del Mar and such a great experience…read more We were in the area for lunch and ice cream and decided to wander in because our girls have been really excited about boogie boarding... and to be honest, we know absolutely nothing about it. We also love supporting small businesses when we can, so this felt like the perfect stop. Right when we walked in, we noticed how clean, organized, and well-stocked the shop was. There's a ton to choose from, which could feel overwhelming, but the two women working behind the register immediately stepped in and made the whole experience easy and actually really fun. They took the time to understand what we were looking for -- something beginner-friendly that the girls could enjoy without it being too advanced. One of the boards the girls were drawn to was actually more high-performance, and instead of just selling it to us, they guided us to a better option. Honestly, they saved us money and probably saved us from a frustrating first experience. They walked us through how to properly size the boards, explained what to look for, and even set everything up at checkout -- attaching the leash and showing the girls how to use it. They also gave a few quick tips that made us feel way more confident heading to the beach. That kind of service is rare. We also picked up a rash guard for my husband (great quality, he loves it) and a cute little shell bracelet that was perfect for the beach vibe. Is it the absolute cheapest place you'll find a bodyboard? Probably not. But the quality, the guidance, and the customer service more than make up for it. You're not just buying a product here -- you're getting help from people who genuinely care that you have a great experience. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Del Mar.

    I've purchased two cans of Blackseal cement from Rusty Del Mar. The first was already opened and…read moreabout half empty. I figured stuff happens and a couple ounces of wetsuit cement isn't a big deal. I purchased another can on 9/11/24. 4:55 P.M. Cashier:Kris Associate: Aaron. This can was also opened and about 3/4 empty. SurfRide in Solana Beach doesn't have this issue. The cans are always sealed and 100% full. Do better guys.
