I can't rave about this place enough! I absolutely adore Daniel, Bella and the entire staff! Every morning when I drop off, everyone says hello to Ellie and shower her with affection. Even teachers that haven't been in her class before make it a point to say "Good Morning" and complement her or give her a hug. Ellie usually walks through and waves to everyone like she owns the place. She's been learning so much from them too! She sings a ton of different songs and every day she comes home with something new to say or sing. We just had another baby and can't wait for him to start there too. We have been considering moving to a different county but this day care is what is holding us back for now. That's how much we adore this place! If you're on the fence about choosing a day care center, let me tell you, you won't be disappointed with Kiddie Academy of Centreville! Original 2016: We have been enrolled at Kiddie Academy for 3 months now. At first visit, we loved this place because the smaller classrooms and the video streaming capability. But the hours and the prices weren't comparable to the area. So we went with a different daycare initially. After a horrific ordeal with that other place, we decided as parents that we would make this decision for our infant, not because of money or convenience and I am so glad that we did. Somehow, we are able to make it work scheduling wise and it's about more expensive than other places but we were able to make that work too. The staff is absolutely amazing! The kids love their teachers, the parents love the staff and the communication I get from Kiddie Academy is more than I could have imagined. I get pictures and updates through the app and able to log on and see my kid anytime of the day. I can't believe there aren't ANY reviews out here for them because this place is amazing!

There aren't enough good things I can say about Imagination Learning Center. We have been with the…read moreChantilly center for more than a year now, and are so happy we chose this wonderful place. We've experienced every classroom from the baby room through the 5-year old room. The Director and Assistant Director are extremely understanding and compassionate. They really understand the challenges of working parents and they continuously strive to make parents' lives easier. The teachers are such loving people. They care very deeply about the children's growth and happiness. Every morning, at least three teachers hug my children when we arrive! Some of the teachers have been with the center for 10 or even 20 years. The classrooms are clean, vibrant and engaging. I love the constant updates I receive through the app. When my youngest was a baby, I could see when and how much she ate and slept. And now, I can see all of the books they're reading, the fun activities and trips to the playground. My children come home each day with stories of the art projects they completed, the lessons they learned, and the friends they are making. There are field trips, holiday parities, art and crafts, magicians, snow cone trucks, story time, etc. etc. 5 stars all around!!

This school is pretty amazing! I originally came here another center with my oldest child due to…read morepretty extreme lack of care. The director's (Lisa) genuine concern for my child's well-being and warmth in how she took care of us, before we even officially signed up for the school, is what got us to join. The teachers, learning experiences my child had, flexibility in schedule, and price got us to stay. For the teachers, some have been at the centers going on double digits now, most of the teachers that took care of my son, who grew out of the school, are now taking care of my daughter. My wife has summers off so she has some more time to be with the kids. We wanted to switch to just two days a week and the answer was "Sure not a problem"! I can see by interacting with my kids that they are most certainly learning while they are there, the school is following a curriculum that works. Last but not least, price. It was no more expensive when I switched into Imagination Learning Center (ILC) from the other daycare even though they offered way more. I don't make a boat load of money and could afford 2 kids to go there. The last two things I which I feel are important to say are, 1) They use Brightwheel to send pictures of your child and communications. Its really great that I can have multiple updates a day on how my child is doing. 2) It's a non-profit with a parent run board of directors. The parents actually do have a voice at ILC which to me is amazing and unlike any other center I looked into while I was searching. TL:DR - ILC is a great place with caring teachers and directors who have been there for years, flexible scheduling, and a reasonable price. I would recommend ILC for anyone who needs childcare.

We would walk in and he would start grinning with excitement to be with the caretakers. They took great care of our child and kept us informed of the progress of our baby. I don't understand why this place has great reviews? I guess they are all old. I have not had good…read moreexperiences here. We ended up leaving but the amount of tuition they charge (and it keeps increasing every few months) is crazy for what we're getting. pot holes in the parking lot go unfixed, their signage on the awning got taken down (both did) now its a blank space that looks like something should be there. The inside has not great lighting and wall colors, it looks kind of dim/depressing, instead of bright and clean. I don't know where all this tuition money is going. It could use a facelift and better playground. The school aged kids room has 2 men as the sole providers and I asked if there were ever female assistants or helpers in there and was pretty much told " i know there's a stigma against male daycare teachers." Ok?? sorry males are responsible for 75-90% of the crimes I'm worried about. And Males constitute the majority of "offending" child care providers/babysitters reported to the police (77%) So I don't think that was a ridiculous question or even something ridiculous to be concerned about. And her lack of concern towards MY concerns was unsettling. We also had multiple incidents with my preschooler, one she told me the teacher grabbed her face because she wouldn't wash her hands, and it hurt. They didn't really do anything about it except, apparently, ask the teacher if she did that and she said no. Ok....Why would a 3 year old make up something so random? The preschool teacher also had a loud bell she would ring to get the kids to pay attention which my 3 year old was scared of and she had sensory issues with loud sounds after that started happening, she would freak out at any loud sound and it didn't stop until after we pulled her out. Another incident in the preschool classroom was that they were trying to get all the kids to be quiet and so they told them that here's a monster out in the hallway of the school and if they don't be quiet the monster will come in. So naturally, my 3 year old told me about this, very scared, and was scared of monster in the school and at home, especially at bed time, for awhile. Again, told the front desk, I don't think anything was done about it. My 3 year old went here for a year. She cried almost every day at drop off. She hated going there. I thought it would ease up eventually but it never did. My school ager liked the kids but that was about it. One of the school aged teachers even apparently sat there and told the kids he doesn't like them and what he doesn't like about each one, and some kids cried. I'm just glad I'm out of this money suck. It is not up to the standards that the local competition has, and shouldn't be charging the same tuition as the local competition. I would not recommend this place.

Policy and payment warning! If you're considering Clifton Children's Academy, please pay very close…read moreattention to all paperwork. While you'll not find all of the payment information in one place, you'll soon find that you're doling out a lot of money up front that will be returned to you under NO circumstances. First, you'll pay a "registration fee." Then, you'll pay "reserve tuition," which is equivalent to a full month's payment, for which you will receive NO services. And if you later decide to use a fewer number of days, this fee will NOT be reduced. THEN, also up front, you will pay 20-60% of the full year's tuition. Now, you may think that that payment is not an additional fee because the 20% supposedly covers the last two months of the 10-month school year. HOWEVER, in the fine print, there is the stipulation that these funds will be forfeited if the school determines that there are "behavioral" issues with your child. I have not met many behaviorally perfect 3-5 year old children! While I am not saying that this school will expel your child and keep your money on false pretenses, the payment policies are a perfect setup for that sort of thing to happen. It could happen that you pay over 70% of a full YEAR'S tuition (not a small amount, in my world) and forfeit it with very little service given. If you have that kind of money to spare, are confident that your child will have no "behavioral" problems, and feel that this school will be able to provide a competent educational experience for your child, then proceed with enrollment! Otherwise, caveat emptor! I have never encountered this sort of payment policy trap anywhere else, but I have learned the expensive lesson to watch for it in the future.

We decided to enroll our son at Montessori of Chantilly because after going through a long list of…read morepreschools in the area, I really did not find a place that "felt right and safe" specially during COVID except for this one. I communicated with Ms. Kaltun, the director and I must say, after speaking to her once, I was "sold" at putting my son at her school. She is very personable, very kind and understanding, genuine and just listened to my questions, concerns and answered them confidently which gave me peace of mind sending my son over to a school during the pandemic. We then went to the school for a tour and met Ms. Komala, our son's primary teacher. At first meeting, our son felt very comfortable with her and he never forgot her name even tho it took us about 4 months before starting in class- she sure gave him a good impression and really showed us how much she cared for the children. I have so much good things to say about the school. I have recommended them to my friends and coworkers who also had good experience with them. Overall, this is a place that cares about our children, they do not look at them as numbers like all the others. If you want quality education and a safe place for your children, this is it.

The thing that I really appreciate about the teachers is the fact that they want to learn more about the respective cultures of the student body so that they can prepare them for the diverse world that exists outside of the school. My daughter is part of such a warm and welcoming environment, so much so that they even invited parents to come in and contribute towards a special event yesterday to better understand and appreciate the importance of Lunar New Year to my family and the other families that celebrate. As a dad, I will always be thankful for that. Highly recommend.

Our three year old is immensely loved here, the teachers are all wonderful and encouraging, the facility is under new management and being run beautifully, and the difference we see in our son since starting is unbelievable. He is so happy. He practically leaps out of the car every morning and doesn't want to go home at the end of the day because he loves this home away from home so dearly. We see how proud he is of himself in the strides he's making learning here. To say the staff is becoming extended family is an understatement. We are forever grateful for this experience and will be so sad when it is time to move on to Kindergarten. Being a teacher, I am fortunate to receive a 10% discount on tuition which is so appreciated. After looking into multiple programs, the tuition cost with TLE is very fair, and worth every single penny in the way our son is so well cared for. We receive updates all day on an app to tell us what he is eating/doing/learning/playing, keeps us up to date on his potty training progress (which is going very well thanks to their consistency!), and the photos show how well engaged he is all day long. This is a transparency we were not afforded in our first daycare. I could say a million and more things, there are not enough words.
