I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and overall operations at this gym…read more The woman working at the front desk today was very rude and spoke in a condescending tone. Normally my husband takes our daughter to her class, but he had a dentist appointment today so I attended instead. After this experience, I honestly would have pulled my daughter out of this gym immediately. The substitute/manager I spoke with initially provided me with inaccurate information regarding my daughter moving up to the preschool class. Later, when I spoke with the front desk employee, she told me the teacher had been giving parents the wrong information all day and proceeded to reprimand the teacher in front of everyone when she returned. It was very unprofessional to witness staff correcting each other publicly. Afterward, the teacher attempted to backtrack by saying my daughter needed a lot of help. This had never been mentioned during the earlier conversation about the preschool class, especially considering there were only two children in the class at the time. This was also the first and only time this teacher had ever worked with my daughter. Her regular coach, Shay, was on vacation. Honestly, Coach Shay seems to be the only person holding this place together. The staff turnover is extremely high, which is very concerning. Considering the cost of tuition adds up to well over $1,000 per year, there should at least be some type of progress notes or communication system in place so parents receive clear and consistent information about their child's development. When I called back to speak with a manager, the same rude front desk employee transferred me to the same teacher she had just reprimanded -- presenting her as the manager. This only added to the confusion and lack of professionalism. Lastly, the facility itself is very outdated and unclean. There is a noticeable odor when you walk in, and the floors and equipment appear dusty and dirty. The cleanliness of a gym where children are constantly on the floor should be a top priority, but that clearly is not the case here. Because of this experience, they will not be receiving any more tuition from us.

My daughter (lvl 7) needed coaches who would push her to limits she didn't seem possible, she needed coaches who didn't tell her she is a disappointment (last gym did), and a gym that actually does gymnastics and isn't a beautified, very expensive, after school child care center when parents are paying a car payment monthly and devoting 20+ hrs/week to. I drive 4 hrs round trip, 5x/week for this gymnastics center, so I 100% vouch for them. If you want your child to not only succeed, but succeed on a national level...then come to Capital NTC. We cannot wait to see what the next few years will bring! #OlympicHopeful

Everything from the…read moreOwner, to the organization of the competitions, information shared about rules, schedules, changes of schedule, to the gym facilities, which is in a shady warehouse, is handled in an amateur, unprofessional and rude fashion. They only see you as a cash cow, not as a customer (and the membership is twice as expensive as the fanciest gym) and if you complain about anything, they have zero accountability or interest to resolve it. The gym has no limit of people there, they accept everyone, making the experience crowded and not personalized. And yet they don't renovate the facilities nor upgrade their employees. For example, competitions time are scheduled with less than 24h of information. This is unacceptable. They make you drive your child 3h ahead to a far place which is chaotic from an organization standpoint, they put the teams waiting in hallways for to perform less than 2 mins with a team of about 30 people at a time. They don't communicate that they don't want parents in certain areas. There's a woman, Coach Jessica, who treats athletes and parents in a bully and rude way. Both me and my daughter experienced this from her. She doesn't ask, she yells at you, she undermines girls self-esteem and when you complain, the owner's response is unprofessional and protective, instead of acknowledging that there's a recurring issue with this person who works for him. I have never experienced such a poor behavior from a business like this. They post pictures of your kids on their social media without permission and block you from taking pictures of your own child. They shouldn't be in business.

My family could not have asked for a better preschool experience than what we found at Chantilly…read moreAcademy Preschool. I feel incredibly blessed to have found this gem of a school and my two daughters have absolutely loved their time here. Both my children had high stranger anxiety with no experience being watched by another non-family member adult before starting school at 2.5y and I was blown away by how quickly both my girls grew comfortable with being at this school. The teachers and director are truly an extension of our family for my girls and they excitedly look forward to going to school each day. The teachers are nurturing and thoughtful and they help the kids grow their confidence and independence along with their education. They do so much more than what is required of them as teachers, it is obvious they care deeply for each child and want to be there each day with them. They are always happy and silly and kind, and it creates such a warm learning environment for the kids. I am continually made proud by how much my daughters have learned educationally, socially and emotionally. We have loved all our teachers here and the director is incredibly kind and accommodating to the personal needs of the kids and their families. It really feels like a second home. My older daughter began at the school with a rather severe speech delay and continued to receive speech therapy while attending this school. Her first teacher was so caring and helpful with regards to my daughter navigating the social aspects of school when she struggled to communicate with her peers and other teachers by herself. Her speech blossomed at this school and she placed out of needing speech therapy services before she even ended her preschool career. She also loves the lunch bunch and enrichment add-on programs. She is a high energy child and I find this school to be unique in that the kids get to burn off energy with the use of a huge gym facility every single day, rain or shine, whether it is 100 or 20 degrees outside. She got to know the kind gymnastics staff through these programs and loved to attend the gymnastics blast camps and classes the gym offered as well. All the instructors would say "hi" to her whenever she attended camp making her feel welcome and secure. I could go on and on (obviously) about how much we love this school, but I do hope my long-winded review is able to help other parents searching for a loving school for their kids.
