My wife is gluten free, and they were able to accommodate her mushroom toast order with gluten free bread (taste was out of this world, it came with a fried cheese tuile on top that just added so much more savoriness), and my Turkish eggs with halloumi was a light but perfectly satiating plate that had a lot of bold flavors coming from the shakshuka style sauce. Our friends got a seasonal special croissant sandwich as well as their bibimbap plate, and considering they spent the entire time eating and not saying anything I would consider that a resounding "yes this is amazing". They also had an amazing raspberry matcha that was so unbelievably creamy and delicious, I highly recommend trying it with oat milk if that fits your fancy. We were visiting from the US, and the prices I would say are comparable to a First Watch. Reasonable for a nice brunch when you're trying something out in a new city. I'm already planning my next trip out to AUS and NZ, and I know for sure I'm going to make this place a must-stop.

Coffee was good and strong and well made. Benny was served on a giant hashbrown wedge which was really interesting. However, the entire thing sat heavy in my belly like a brick the entire day. Husband enjoyed his mince on toast. The serving was quite generous and he all but licked his plate clean. I'm not sure if I'd go back as there are a plethora of cool breakfast joints to try in/around Wellington, but it certainly wasn't a bad experience.
