My daughter and I recently finished our 5 week beginner class. We had so much fun, met some great women in class and learned so much. The glass on my 100 year old door finally gave way. I brought the pieces to Patti who was able to salvage the center piece and rebuild using artisan glass. The result was incredible and the fit was perfect. Good for another 100 years ( wont be my problem then) read more

Our little toy poodle, Celtic Creme, Celtie to her many friends, passed away on April 8, 2016 ~ my "wee bit of sunshine" in my life had disappeared. Being a customer of Patty's, the president of The Glass Gallery at 140 Chestnut St., Nutley, NJ, I had always wanted to ask her if she could make me a suncatcher of Celtie's face. I asked if this was possible, she answered, "YES" and requested a photo of Celtie. We gave her our favorite pose of Celtie from when she was a year old. The result is one word: BEAUTIFUL. She captured the essence of our Celtic Creme and now my "wee bit of sunshine" is back... and pouring through my 9 inch diameter Celtie suncatcher. I would highly recommend the Glass Gallery. It is a warm and friendly family owned business with heart. One of the owners provides classes not only in the shop but also through the local community adult education programs. My husband and I have taken the classes and have immensely enjoyed them. We appreciate the patient guidance given by the teacher/owner to learn this beautiful art of stained glass. The owner was less then cooperative in scheduling classes. SHe was willing to take my money as a deposit for a spot but reluctant to put any effort in starting new classes. SHe was obnousious and rude, I would not recommend the place. read more
