I love this place. They had everything to make pho at home plus drinks and snacks. The owner was beyond amazing with all the ingredients I needed for my pho. Love this little gem in the desert will definitely be returning. The ambiance is so cute and so clean and organized.

OMG OMG OMG!!! I just found out about this gem of a store from a friend. Everything I've been missing in my life locally for my Asian inspired dishes is here and if they don't have it, she will probably get it. Met the owner, Macy, today, and she is an absolute doll! I can't review any of the ingredients I bought today just yet but she had everything I needed for my char siu pork tomorrow and saved me 2 hours in the car to get them. She is the sweetest lady ever, and I pray that the Morongo Basin keeps her in business. I will personally be frequenting her location. I am extra excited for an aged Shaoxing cooking wine to make my marinade and she is gonna flip when I drop her a taste. Please support this Woman owned small local business and help your local chefs out!!!!

I was looking for matcha spots in the area, and this place popped up on Google. Went in on a whim since there aren't many Asian stores nearby and discovered lots of great goodies. The owner mentioned they're fairly new and was super knowledgeable and helpful when I asked about making miso soup. The place is super cute, clean, and organized. I'll definitely be coming back to try some snacks and pick up ingredients that are usually hard for me to find. Thank you!

Love this little store stocked with my favorite Asian foods. Met the owner, Macy. She is friendly, kind and easy to talk to. Her store is clean and organized. It's a boutique Asian grocery store. It's the only Asian food store in the area. Go check it out and support our local businesses. Macy is great. She positive and friendly.

Glad I did - the sun is strong even in December! Staff members were friendly and helpful - one person directed me to the sun block. I bought a tube from the Seaweed Bath Co., thinking that it seemed a bit pricey at around $20 but then checked online and saw that it's $19 direct from the manufacturer. I looked around the store and saw some interesting products that I'd never seen before, like mycelium-based bacon (MyBacon). Some items seem overpriced (olive oil) but others (Sappo Hill or Dr. Bronner's soap) are very reasonable. I'm giving Joshua Tree Health Foods 5/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * Large selection of bulk ingredients, from nuts and flour to herbs and spices. * Almost all of the items stocked in bulk were organic. * When I looked at specific products, like bar soap, the brands in stock were among the most ethical. * A large amount of vegan items on sale such as Nuts for Cheese and Violife dairy. * Inclusive business where all are welcome.
