It's held at the Convention Center every Tuesday annually for about 6-7 months. Usually April-October. I love all the fresh foods you can get there. Organic veggies and fruits, homemade jams, freshly roasted nuts (The Nut Stash is by far the best! David is my favorite!), freshly squeezed juices and lemonades, hot and ready homemade tamales and more! There's tons of jewelry vendors who make the most adorable pieces ranging from earrings and necklaces, to headpieces and bracelets. If you're in Big Bear, this is a great stop on Tuesdays. Plenty of parking and it's usually free.

There were LOTs of farmers market vendors , farm to table, certified organic, preservative and other cr*p free goods to purchase today ... more than usual. Today, I purchased a head of super fresh, super organic romaine from one of the farm to table organic farmers. Additionally I purchased Persian cucumbers, fresh parsley, radish micro greens, rosemary vinaigrette. All of which will go into one of my many salads. Bee pollen from Suzee's Bees .. Yep. I put bee pollen on my granola. I'm one of those weirdos .. lol Can't not purchase all of these organic foods, since I was raised as a vegetarian. Whether I liked it or not .. I was raised vegan. Must be that California upbringing. Also, there is a cafe that serves breakfast foods like omelette & bagels. I arrived too late and the kitchen wasn't making omelettes anymore :-( BUT, there is a bar there .. you can get real booze in your fresh squeezed OJ .... Ha ! Yep ... you can be the rebel that you KNOW you are by spiking your fresh squeezed and cold pressed juices. It's like going to an organic juice bar that serves booze. When does that EVER happen ? Perfect. Thank You Cultural Center ! There is always something going on at the cultural center. It's a lively place.

The pavilion does have a decent amount of parking in the lot. Literally right next door to the community pool. It's also where the vintage market that happens once a month is held as well. The market is free to get in. Pets aren't allowed with signs posted out front. Once inside, everything is in the main room. First impression, wow it looked pretty cramped. They have a good amount of vendors on deck but majority of the vendors are produce and fruits. It's kind of a given as it's a farmers market. Also a few bakery and specialty stalls were also set up. There's not really a marked path to follow but make your own way. It can get packed as the room is filled with stalls and customers. Downfall, I didn't see any vendors with fresh cut flowers. Loads of fruits on displays and very colorful. Compared to the outside market, I feel like this one is lacking in a sense of vendors. I don't know if they rotate who can sell each week or if everyone that was there this weekend was the usuals. Don't get me wrong, there's loads of fresh produce and fruits on display but it was a bit too cramped for me. I prefer it outside but with the desert heat, this is definitely better for everyone and everything.

I got some spinach and radishes this week that are just divine; I've been putting them in everything. (I suggest putting some fresh spinach at the bottom of your ramen bowl and letting the hot broth soften the leaves up; sliced radishes go on top) The tamales I got this week were AMAZING. A couple years back I got some not-good tamales, but when I saw the vendor this week I was like "yes, these are the good tamales!!!" Oh, and if you see the stall with the pistachio croissants, go for it.

Plenty of parking but it is on dirt and there is a short walk. Not too bad even with my arthritic knees. I came here to find some heirloom carrots since I like them in the bean soup I am making. There is plenty of seasonal produce available. It is autumn so there are assorted persimmons and apples just in time for the holidays. I found the heirloom carrots at the very last produce stand at the market. The carrots still had the tops on them so those will be for the wild rabbits that come at night to my house. I bought a dozen tamales from the Tamale Guy. There were so many choices including vegetarian and dessert ones. I bought two each of the chicken, beef, pork, beef and olive, pineapple and raisin, and sweet corn to try. So delicious so this may be a go-to for tamales. The chicken one was especially tasty! I will try more of the vegetarian varieties next time. I was feeling a little thirsty so I bought a peach oolong tea from the Tea Life vendor. It came with basil seeds, rainbow jelly, and a slice of fresh peach. So refreshing and not too sweet. On my way out, I purchased three loaves of bread from the Old Town Bakery Company stand. It was so hard to choose since there were so many varieties! I selected the Squaw Bread, the Jalapeño Cheese, and the Sourdough Whole Wheat. The Squaw Bread is excellent, one of the best I have tasted! This farmers market is definitely worth checking out. There are other vendors selling items other than produce so there is plenty to see and find.

Located at 24480 Village Walk Pl, Murrieta, CA, United States, 92562. I've been coming here for years for the fresh local produce and to support the many wonderful local vendors. There is always such a great variety. You can find beautiful produce from local farmers, fresh made-to-order food, olive oils and balsamic vinegars, handmade soaps, jewelry, and even unique items like dog leashes and toys made from fire hoses. There is always something interesting to discover, and new vendors seem to pop up regularly. One of my favorite things after coming here for so many years is getting to know some of the vendors and seeing their friendly, smiling faces week after week. It really gives the market that wonderful local community feel. The produce has always been fresh and delicious, there is plenty of parking, and I rarely leave empty-handed. Such a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning and a Murrieta tradition I continue to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit!

There is lots of local vendors, food trucks, artisans selling handcrafted goods. There are also several shops and restaurants open in the area. Live music acts through the market. Kid and family friendly. I highly recommend this farmers market happening in historic Downtown Murrieta on the first and third Thursday of each month from 5-9 p.m.

If not eColi or another nasty bug, I don't trust what is in the air, where it is from, or what they are being sprayed with. Not to mention the high cost of shrinkflation only to have the produce go bad. That being the true cost of buying outside our state or country. We owe it to ourselves to use the FARMacy over the pharmacy, and the only thing better than growing it ourselves is buying local. I grow my own sprouts, but have yet to get them as full as MicroFarms. They grow quite a selection that go well with my small weekly batch. If you are serious about how you look and feel going into the new year, consider giving MicroFarms a try. Their sprouts pack a nutritional punch. They are so versatile and can be used in so many ways. From replacing lettuce in sandwiches and wraps to being added to salads or atop fixin's of a charcuterie spread. The ideas are endless. They also do giveaways. I was blessed to receive a flat of my choice. Seriously best of all is the energy they exude into their beautiful and tasty sprouts.
