I have thoroughly enjoyed this store for many many years…read more Unfortunately today I had a terrible experience. I am severely disabled. I use a cane in public instead of a wheelchair. My disability is obvious as I do not walk normally at all. When I entered the store at its opening time this morning, I immediately encountered the manager talking to a custodian. After the conversation ended I asked the manager where the luggage was located. (I pointed in the general direction of where it used to be.) She obviously was not happy to be bothered asking me if I had all ready checked that area. I explained that I was simply trying to save some unnecessary steps. The custodian intervened nicely and told me yes that location was correct but low in available stock. I checked and he was correct. Maybe the manager could wear a sign in the future letting people know she does not want to be bothered.

The first few items I looked at were all $16.99, one of which I got at another Marshall's on clearance for $10.00. $17 for a cheap sweater seems too much. Restrooms could use a bit of a cleaning. One of our kids didn't want to use the restroom because it was a bit gross. Didn't have any interaction with the staff. All in all, since items charge so frequently here, it's fun to come back and search for great finds.

This store has improved dramatically since management has read the reviews. Navasota TSC is another story. It is run by a bunch of young girls who know nothing about anything. This is my childhood Walmart and it has kept up over the last several decades. The reason for this…read morereview is mostly to get kudos to Mark T. in automotive as he went above and beyond to make my New Year's Eve less of a nightmare. My battery corroded pretty bad and after 5 hours of trying to fix a dead battery, I took my irritable self to Walmart Auto Care. Outside waiting for a scheduled customer was Mark and he had this chill vibe about him. I brought the battery in and he quickly helped me replace it. He let me know it was under warranty for another year. I had other shopping to do so I asked him if I could leave the battery and grab the couple of items. When I got back he said he had looked for me a cart for transport and I appreciated the gesture. He helped me carry my items to my car -- above and beyond, truly. Otherwise, this Walmart remains the same. Too much bread/dessert made and wasted, fruit and vegetables either cheap and great or absolutely ridiculous, a crowded cosmetics department, and overworked employees.
