It is not your typical Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Coca-Cola collection. Some items are extremely rare and placed behind a tall glass see through case. We entered as 10 and towards the end, my better and half and I are the only ones who stayed. You can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours. You can easily miss this store because it's a bit hard to see if you're driving by because of the trees blocking the store sign which is "Love Local." It's NOT located within the main building entrance on 28th Street, but off to the side closer to 29th Street. The front door is on Main Street. Staff member, Belinda is super friendly and helpful. She had a lot of knowledge about the other vendors and their merchandise. The flavored kettle popcorn is her business. The parking lot are small and there are 2 different ones on each side of the building. I don't recall seeing a restroom nearby, perhaps within other parts of the building.

I said, I wish I did. Most signs display pricing. If you see something with no pricing, ask the friendly staff behind the counter. At the counter, you will find some extremely chic eyewear items. We accidentally stopped by because I forgot to pack my sunglasses. Resale shops are becoming my favorite places besides resale bookstores and libraries. This is my one of favorite stores. I will gladly drive a few hours from Houston to check them out. We stayed overnight in downtown. Their nightlife is great. Cannot wait to return.

And welcome to the Texas Bucket List."…read more On a recent day trip to College Station, one of the things I wanted to do was visit the TBL Store and Studio because I am a huge fan of this show! Texas isn't just honky tonks and BBQ (though our BBQ is da best!); we are an incredibly diverse state and this show really does a great job of highlighting that. I'm a life long Texan, but I've learned about so many cool and quirky places around the state from watching this show. The store offers all sorts of Texas related items. Mugs, cutting boards, t-shirts, etc. You can find a lot of cute TX themed items. They also sell merchandise of places they have featured on the show. One of my favorite merchandise items was from El Arroyo in Austin (for those who don't know, El Arroyo is famous for their snarky marquee messages). They had funny puzzles, mugs, stickers, etc. We probably stood there for a good 5 minutes just reading all of the funny messages. The young lady that was working was very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately Shane (the host) and his wife weren't there, but there was a life size cardboard cut out of him that you could take a picture with lol. The TBL Hummers were parked out front which was cool to see. If you're a fan of the show or are looking for TX themed merchandise, this is a great little store to visit.
