She is not your typical groomer in that she's all about the job. Thea is all about your pet, first and foremost. She will get down on the floor to accommodate your pet's needs if that's how the pet is most comfortable. By our third appt, my dog was getting upset when it was time for Thea to leave. Not when she came, but when she was finished and leaving. She worked so hard to earn his trust, and once she had he'd claimed her as his!

Our local kennel was booked & we needed to find another one for a few days over July 4th weekend…read more We have not lived in this area very long & the kennel he had used from a puppy, that he loved is 2 hours away. Most were booked & I found Tamora on google maps. I found positive reviews but no website so I called. She had an opening & seemed very nice over the phone. She said she wasn't booked because she doesn't advertise. The day of drop off at 8:00 am, she called & said she had some medical issues with her arm going numb & was waiting for her Dr to call. She said she would call back when she was ready for him. At 11:00am she called & said we could bring him over. So we gathered up his stuff & headed her way. We pulled in at 11:43am, 13 minutes after our originally scheduled time. As soon as we pulled in, my phone rang & she said "I thought you were bringing your dog this morning". She had us meet her at a side door to the kennel. The outdoor runs are gravel laying on the ground. It's not possible to fully clean urine & feces out of those rocks with a pressure washer. We put him in the kennel she pointed to & told her he drinks a lot of water. She grabbed a large bucket of water that was already filled 3/4 of the way from another kennel & put it in his kennel! Reusing water from the last dog? The reservation was 6/30-7/6 but plans got messed up. On 7/2 we called to say we would pick him up 7/3. For 5 minutes all she did was complain about how horrible our dog was. He knocked over his bucket of water & she had to clean it up. The water soaked his blankets, which we brought from home, which made them extremely heavy to carry. He pushed his food bowl with his nose & knocked it over so she had to put a big rock in it. She said she's never had so much trouble with a dog before ..... my husband said "do you want us to just come right now?", she said "yes & I only take cash". She also made the comment over & over while she was complaining that she should charge us extra for all the extra work she had to do!!!! We pull in, my husband knocks on the door & I go back to the kennel. His door was closed to the outside kennel! How does she expect him to poop outside if she's in the house in the AC & leaves the doors shut so the dogs can't go outside?!?! She opens the door to let us in & his wet blankets are laying in front of his cage, a huge rock sitting inside of a small bowl that barely fit 2 cups of food & the water container was hooked to the kennel, which is where it should have been in the first place. She started pointing to the blankets, to the water bucket, the bowl & was complaining non stop. I said "the water buckets should always be hooked for larger dogs so they can't knock them over & he knocked the food over because he was probably bored." My husband was putting the wet blankets in a trash bag & I was getting him out of the cage while she was non stop going off. Then she looks at my husband with an attitude & says "are you gonna pay me?". I couldn't believe her attitude & I pulled his leash & walked out the door. We gave her an extra $10. I put him in the back of the car & jumped in to turn the AC on. We were both so mad, we got out of there before we really told her how we felt. We got about 15 minutes down the road & stopped for food & to get him a treat but when we checked on him, we saw this horrible wound on his snout!!! He was only there for 3 days/2 nights!!! I called & asked her how he got it & she said she never saw anything on his nose. I offered to send her a picture via email or text but she apparently doesn't have those or didn't want to offer them. She kept giving me excuses that dogs like to root around with their noses & my husband hung up the phone. She called back twice after that & I didn't answer. She left voicemails stating that she didn't do anything to him & would like us to stop by do she can see it herself. She changed her attitude & said he had a great disposition, he just did a few bad things. We live 20 minutes from this kennel & the last thing I'm doing is going back there!! He has been home now for 3 days/2 nights & he's still very quiet, depressed & not himself at all. He seems like he was really traumatized & anybody who knows our dog, knows he is high energy all the time. We are so mad & upset & the only thing I know to do is write reviews letting people know what happened there. I wish he could talk & tell me.

I volunteer here and it's great. The workers are very nice, and you always have something to do, weather it's walking the dogs, doing the laundry, or cleaning the litter boxes, it shows how much these people do every day. For anyone reading this, I would love if you were to be a volunteer because it's fun and it helps these people out a ton. 5 stars.

My five year old loves her and so does our one year old Aussie. She is playful and feisty. I love her personality and although she was pricey it was well worth purchasing her from this pet store.

The owner Tina Koontz and her husband took over ownership of the kennel several years ago, after the previous owner relocated out of State. Tina worked for the previous owner and bought the business. It was a natural transition in ownership. Tina is very proud of the kennel and loves taking care of the dogs and cats that are left in her care. The kennel grounds are beautiful The kennel sits on the back of her property away from road traffic and noise that might make the animals nervous. She has numerous pens inside to house the animals and fenced in pens outside to allow the animals to get exercise and fresh air. Greystone is open six days a week. It is closed on Wednesdays. Greystone's rates are very competitive compared to other dog kennels. The facility is kept very clean and well lit. There were no odors when we entered the building which was a good sign for my wife and I. Greystone offers a small discount for Veterans and a small one time discount if you leave a review with Google Maps. I recommend this business for anyone looking for a safe place to leave their pets.
