This was our first time in Hawaii, so we figured if our hotel wasn't the best it would be ok, since we were not planning on spending much time in the hotel. It was such an amazing place and we got a great deal on it which made it even more amazing. As soon as you walk in, the front desk welcomed you, and you can tell they upkeep this hotel very well and take pride in their property. They do offer parking on the premises, however they do charge $40.00 a day, which i thought was pretty pricey but didn't have a choice we had rented a car. The girl at the front desk told us the area was safe and there is usually parking outside the hotel for free, we didnt pay for parking our whole stay! Our room was super clean , updated and super spacious! We got a call daily asking if we needed anything, you can get beach towels daily without issues as many as you like. The cook-to-order breakfast was simply AMAZING!! The food was great and the cooks are super nice and welcoming. The pool is a little on the smaller side but we didnt have the need to use it but its really nice. over all i would 100 percent stay here again. It was a wonderful experience and wonderful value! Mahalo!

Our youth group decided to check out Wai Kai for our end of summer activity. It just so happened…read morethat it was the weekend before school started and it wasn't overly crowded, surprisingly. We had a group of 6 and many of us had never been here before. Wai Kai was quite easy to find; just plugged into my GPS and drove. I was surprised to see that area and how much development has happened in the last 10 years but I digress. We had purchased the day pass which was all day, from 10:00am - 4:00pm. The full day was a good call cause we lucked out and snagged the last 4 lounge chairs and umbrella. Since we were between the cabanas and the life vest distribution, we got to see all the action. ;D Everyone wears a life vest, which is awesome cause I got tired at one point and was just able to float without having to work hard. I had looked up photos of the space but not any reviews and I thought I knew what to expect...boy was I wrong. I was not expecting to play American Ninja Warrior as I made my way around all the obstacles. I was so worried about having to get up if I fell in so I was really careful in the beginning. I'm old so I went at my own pace and let our kids just go wild. When it started getting hard to get out of the water I took it as a cue that I need to take a break and enjoy being old. I loved watching all the kids run around and play and make friends with other kids who were there. I think many of us really enjoyed the giant slide (I certainly did) and the trapeze swing (which I didn't do). There was a great cafe for lunch that had sandwiches, burgers, and pizza with shave ice and ice cream for the dessert-a-holics like me. :D I enjoyed the club sandwich and kalbi plate. We ate it all! Our kids got Hamburgers and Fries which made me re-think my choice but I was happy with what I got. There was a short break at approximately 1pm so everyone had to come back in. This was nice because it gave time for the people who had only a half day to return their life vests and the people who were just coming in could find seating and get their vests. I relished the short break because it made our kids have to sit and hydrate and talk to one another. Everyone also recharged so that we could go back for more! At around 3:30 I really was feeling my age so I called it quits but the rest of the group stayed out. We had so much fun! This is such a wonderful place to be with family and friends and I HIGHLY recommend. We decided we want to come back again next summer so figuring out how to incorporate it into the already busy summer schedule.

We attended a graduation party for a family member on 6/01/24 from 5PM to 8PM. It was our first time visiting this facility. As previous yelpers have mentioned, it is best to use your GPS to get there. It is off the freeway but in the Royal Kunia subdivision, past the Wal-Mart on Kunia Rd. Once you exit Kunia Rd, it can be tricky since the street signs are hard to read so GPS is your best bet. It is easy to find & you can't miss the building once you're on the street it's on since it is on the corner. There is a park next to it and across the street is an empty lot on one side & a golf course on the other side. The parking lot was good-sized as well of plenty of street parking. Even though it was next to a huge park, the venue is surrounded by a white fence for privacy. The facility itself is a beautiful venue to hold a celebration - nice surroundings, modern building, a/c, clean bathrooms by the entrance, & kitchen facility. The manager, Michelle, was also very nice, assisting guests & answering any questions they had. The tables & chairs were set up to seat about a 100 people. There were probably about 80 but the room itself was comfortable enough to not feel over-crowded plus they had a live band up front & a small area for dancing. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience at this venue.
