From the first moment we spoke, I knew she was the florist for us. She was professional, attentive, and most of all, kind. The personal interest she showed in our wedding and also in us as people made me trust from the first conversation that she cared just as much as we did about creating our vision. Despite our ignorance about flowers and the challenges of virtual planning in a pandemic, she (quickly!) worked to give us a detailed quote full of flower options and made sure to not only take on the pictures and vision boards we had collected, but to actively ask questions about what we liked, why we liked it, and options available to us so that she could be absolutely clear about what we wanted from these images and aesthetics. We always felt that it was a collaboration, which is a real testament to Kim as a person given that we probably offered little direction or help at times. She didn't even blink when I revised my quote and added or subtracted items several times as the wedding and the final guest count came together, all the while treating my budget with the utmost respect. On our actual wedding day, the flowers took our breath away. They were more stunning than what we had even been envisioning. It was like she read our minds...but then made it better, all while keeping costs more than reasonable. The skill and care with which she put together every arrangement, from the bar to the signage to the centerpieces was beyond evident, and I am still mindblown when I think about how she incorporated some of our less conventional color requests all while fitting our "elegant garden theme." I would not only hire Kim again in a heartbeat, I would actively lobby for every bride and groom out there to use her! She also put together last-minute arrangements for our rehearsal dinner that the groom and his family keep referring to with awe as "better than any picture or arrangement they had found on Pinterest or the Internet." If there was one comment we got over and over through our whole wedding weekend, it was about how beautiful, impressive, and full of joy our floral arrangements were. We wanted a simple, yet vibrant color palette for our April wedding. While the bridal party all wore black and white, our flowers were all the many bright colors of spring. Kim did an incredible job selecting fresh and exciting flowers that fit together perfectly in bouquets, a floral swag on our chuppah, and many centerpieces. My husband's aunt (who works professionally as a florist) said she LOVED how everything was done. I felt so beautiful carrying my bouquet, and I was honestly stunned when I turned the corner to process down the aisle and saw the gorgeous flowers adorning the chuppah. I am so excited that all our family portraits were taken in front of that garland. Kim was a pleasure to work with. She was our favorite vendor by miles and the smartest choice you can make. Kim did an AMAZING job with our wedding in February. Notice I said wedding and not just flowers - she provided flowers for the rehearsal dinner, our wedding (in a church), and reception, and she really helped make the day by coordinating well with my family, various locations, the vendors, and most importantly making me and my husband feel special and at ease. Our wedding favors were a pain and she helped set them up and organize them too! Her flower arrangements were perfect and complemented heavily by not only the guests but the other vendors! I didn't know want I wanted and she made sure my vision came together. She took changes in stride and would offer great suggestions. She was incredibly kind and understanding about our wishes to keep costs down and gave helpful advice. Beautiful arrangements- full of vibrant color. I have seen The Garden Studio flowers at two weddings I attended this past year and was so impressed.
