For the love of God, do NOT come here! We were referred here to a guy named Nigel for do an engine…read morereplacement. We purchased and then sent him a used engine that was guaranteed. Three weeks and multiple daily calls and visits later, we finally were told the car was fixed. He charged us more than he quoted, and the two weeks later the engine blows again!! When we brought it back, he claimed there's nothing he can do. So we took it to a trusted guy in Fort Lee, NJ and that's when we found out how badly Nigel botched the job. Missing bolts and parts and hoses not hooked back up - total mess. We took him to court and we won, only to have him refuse to pay the court ordered damages and threaten to counter sue. Of course, no court took his claim, and we went back to the court to force his hand in paying. What a nightmare! This place is NO PLACE for anyone not looking to get screwed. Run away!

I have brought only two vehicles into this company for repairs and I am one satisfied customer with…read moreboth. My first time here was with my 2008 Dodge Charger which went through a flash flood a few years ago and was saved then had a pistol blow through the engine. J and J installed a working refurbished engine which extended my Charger's years with me. This recent time was a couple weeks ago where i brought my Ram 1500 with an aftermarket bumper to J and j to see if they can fabricate it on since i ordered it off of Amazon and the bumper was for a Chevy. J and J did one better than welding the bumper on by bolting it in place with bolts they had or ordered. When i got my truck back i was expecting a weld job and a bumper that will have to be sold with the truck when I'm ready to sell. With the bolts i can now take the bumper off if needed. J and J saved me a lot of stress and time with both my vehicles. They have so much knowledge with any vehicle and respect with their customers along with amazing service.

Based on the personalities of the owner John and his employees that is the only good thing in that…read morebuilding. Not one person can diagnose a problem on their first, second or even third try. I have brought my fleet to John for about ten months, and with any vehicle they gave back to me,"stating it had be repaired," I would have to bring it back for the same issues within hours, sometimes minutes . They would keep the vehicle for a few more days again, state it had been repaired again and yes, you guessed it I'd make a u turn in his lot and show them different. The vehicle is still not repaired correctly. This was a common occurrence with any vehicle we brought to have serviced, but after about three four or five tries ultimately the vehicle was repaired. The '" m.o" over at J and J, is replace as many parts as you can, something is bound to fix the problem, which is fine I guess ...... But not at the customers expense. Parts vehicle didn't need after his staff's guessing games which made no improvement to the vehicle stayed in the vehicle and the customer was charged for it anyway, that's right, charged for parts and services you didn't even need. John seems to be a nice guy and he's likable so you let your guard down a bit and that's when he's got you. He believes in Cart blanc repairs whatever it takes and however much the invoice comes to, your responsible for the bill. Never any estimate given no authorization to do the job, and never any idea what is wrong or what the repair may cost, just leave it to me and I'll get it fixed one way or another even if it takes two to three months. From a tire needing to be plugged to a simple brake job and oh let's not forget about the $13,000.00 fuel pump which was so grossly misdiagnosed. John get some certified techs in that shop rather than street mechanic and votek boys with a screwdriver and hammer set and maybe your reputation within the town and the industry will change for the better. That's free advice, I strongly recommend you take it before things really spread like wild fire especially the part when you charge to do things and charge for changing parts that were never even touched, that's another no no John boy

This…read moreguy also ripped my friend off by charging him $1122- for a repair incomplete, for a repair we supplied him all parts and tools for him to do it AND it was hardly done and never completed, a repair that was to take no more than a few hours , THE clincher IS, he broke parts while doing it and he never even finished it because he had no actual idea how to do these type of repairs, although, he accepted the job and took the repair to his "secret" shop, a place he wouldn't tell where it was, felt like it was being held hostage AND went on for weeks. He hardly worked on it, he had a lame excuse anytime I'd get him on the phone (which was rare). Instead he was "attempting" to do the repair, likely spent an hour or two at most and did so, here and there, the repair was not done and he broke parts and hardly did anything he was asked to do, he was supplied every single prt and tool by me, he did do what he was hired to do and what he did was minimal and broken and incomplete. He brought it back as an incomplete, ruined repair and took him weeks to do anything to it, as he did hardly much that was needed. Really, this was a very bad experience working with him y regrets are high. How dos he sleep at night? The money he ripped my friend off is also being handled in an separate matter, he's not keeping that money, no one gets paid for ruining people's things and breaking things and where we had to bring this repair elsewhere, to an actual professional to fix this guy's crap he broke and we have to pay more to have it all fixed now?? We are glad now to feel secure a REAL mechanic will fix and complete the repair, yes a real mechanic who KNOWS what to do and how to do it properly!
