She came and took our order, all had the special and what kind of beer, she never came back with the beer, we had to beg her to bring the beer, then came the food. You the owner missed out on several paying rounds of beer if she came at first with the beer and after we ate, we sat and talked and she never came back to check on us, so you the owner lost out on paying rounds beer again , no tip was left, and we will not be back....

We dropped by for a late lunch /afternoon snack and ordered the cheese curds and tacos. Both were fresh and flavorful! We spent the afternoon by the water and came back for dinner and ordered the grilled salmon with fries, clam chowder soup and the cherry pie. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were excellent. One of the coolest parts about this place (and Door County in general) is that most of the servers are international seasonal workers. They brought such a great, energetic, and friendly vibe to our dining experience! The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating right by the water. Giving it 4 stars because there is definitely room for improvement regarding service pacing and menu clarity: Time your dessert order: The restaurant was busy, so I placed my dessert order along with my dinner. Unfortunately, the hot cherry pie was brought out before we finished our main course, so the ice cream had melted significantly by the time we were ready for it. Taco Fixings: Just a heads-up that the tacos come with meat only by default. It was tasty, but I really wish it had come with some standard toppings or fixings. The Fish Boil sells out fast: They host a fish boil right by the lake, but you absolutely need to reserve well in advance. We tried to book it on Tuesday afternoon right after checking into our hotel, and it was already completely sold out for the night.

Maybe they have had it before but now there is a local honey on the shelf. Literally something for everyone. Maybe they allow carry-in/delivery...? Our fav's are the gin, aquavit, & limoncello. Be sure to stop by, it's a not miss! She recommended the Green Goddess salad and a few other favorites. I chose the Green Goddess and Salmon. My salad was fresh! Most of the time, we eat lettuce shipped in on a truck across the state. This salad tasted as if it came straight out of someone's garden in town. Now I'm spoiled and won't look at lettuce the same again. The salmon was slightly overcooked, but it was still good. The homemade green goddess was amazing. I do wish the bread crumb pieces were a little bigger so I could have a crunch element. (just me being picky) I didn't notice they were there, and I love the crunch of croutons on a salad. I didn't drink or have dessert, but the dessert selection sounded amazing!
