I have these back home but they're all the local brews where I frequent. This was a whole new scene with beers is not yet seen. Tried their Scottish ale. Simply a good local brewpub type place that makes you feel welcome; like you could stay for just one more. Creamy, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For dinner, I went with the grilled pork chops topped with a molasses glaze, and they did not disappoint! Cooked perfectly to medium, the chops were juicy and had a nice smoky char. The molasses glaze added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the pork. I paired them with broccoli because I like to pretend I'm making healthy decisions when dining out. I'm pretty sure the vegetables canceled out the molasses glaze! Overall, a very enjoyable meal. The pork chops were definitely the highlight, and Morgan's is worth checking out when visiting New Bern.

Even though I am not usually a big beef person, this burger was outstanding. I enjoyed it so much that I went back the next day to get one to go before heading back to the DMV area. The only strange detail was that their bathroom didn't have any mirrors, but overall, I highly recommend checking it out, especially if you like burgers.

Their version of a Cubano was alright, but as could be the case you'd imagine, the pork was a little dry. The caprese was the only one we got that seemed to be a universal thumbs down, the avocado spread wasn't working with the other ingredients. Definitely would come back for some of these toasts, and drinks!
