He's earned a special treat for the awards in school. We bought the tickets for a day pass. Luckily I had cash because the booth was not accepting any other form of payment. Everything was copacetic until the return trip and it brought back memories when I rode the bus in the greater Los Angeles area. Waaaay back, when it was the RTD (now the MTA). My friends & I called it Rough, Tough & Dirty because.....it was. Milo was oblivious to the cab surroundings, just looking out & enjoying the ride. All the while I was not breathing through my nose, trying not to touch anything. Folks, I felt like I needed a nice, long cleansing/disinfecting shower thereafter. Thankfully we were not accosted. Our journey lasted about a good 10-12 minutes. As long as Milo was a happy camper, our journey was complete. The wait for each way didn't take more than 10 minutes in total.

Fortunately these days we have a decent mass transit system in the Dallas area and most of the big metro areas like Houston. However, Texas is a car culture on steroids and I'll admit I don't use mass transit that often. Usually when I do it's to travel to the State Fair close to downtown(highly recommended). I can say from experience after riding the system many times, it works, I'm glad we have it and hope its expansion continues. Until then, ill continue using Parker Station to hop on the train.

However, during midday on a weekday, it was easy, and I paid $.60 for 12 minutes, which was long enough to grab what I was aiming for. There's about 2 to 3 attendants working behind the screen to help you out, and then you wait in a queue to come up to them. I told them what I was there for, ended up buying three of the different varieties of cards, and four of the postcard designs. The cards are $10 each but come with a day pass, and the postcard is an additional $2 each! I don't know if I'll have a need to go back in the future, but I definitely think it's a worthwhile stop if you're in the area, and if you're looking for a fun (and useful!) FIFA souvenir.

While an apology was given, there was little effort to resolve the situation or assist further. The missing card caused significant inconvenience, as it is our primary card for household expenses. We had to cancel it and update multiple accounts, and we were unable to continue our planned evening. I understand mistakes happen but my concern is with how the situation was handled by management as well as the server, as a quicker or more proactive response, and being more careful would have made a difference. We were genuinely enjoying our visit and had planned to return, but the experience at checkout left us disappointed.
