Omfg. I have struggled to find correctly-fitting bras for the better part of 15 years, primarily because 99% of local stores do not carry cup sizes over DD and fitting yourself/ordering online can be such a hit or miss experience. I lucked out and was able to get a walk in appointment on a Saturday (they do recommend appointments on weekends) and walked out with 4 perfectly fit bras. Their staff is friendly, supportive, and really listened to my feedback and concerns until we found bras that worked well for me. I will 100% go back there to buy more. read more

Does anyone know where I can get a bra that fits (DD+) for a reasonable price? I visited for a swimsuit fitting 4 months ago and decided to get an exact replica of my favorite bra while I was there since it was getting a bit worn. The swimsuit was surprisingly nice since I usually have the most difficult time finding anything bigger than DD anywhere else, but it took me a while to brave the new replica bra. After a while I put it on and it didn't feel right. Upon further inspection the replica had major differences in quality, less back clasps which are needed for support, and most surprisingly the size was different. Assuming the swimsuit sizing was used when gathering the replica bra instead of the originals size, I returned to the store to fix the miscommunication- but unfortunately was past the allowed time for returns or exchanges, my fault. I have been uncomfortably tolerating the replica ( impostor) bra for 4 months but today a sharp exposed wire gave me a cut and there's no way to wear/fix the bra. I will have to return to my original. I'm disappointed because the original bra more than double outlived the new one. I wanted an exact replica but had to settle for less. I can't afford to be on a 4 month bra subscription, I just need a big comfortable bra! Suggestions appreciated! read more

I had a scheduled appointment on 8/1/26 @ 10:am. I arrived around 930am but when I saw 3 women pull up at 9:55am and were allowed to go inside the store, I was maybe 2 minutes behind them and was told by an employee who hurried and locked the door when they saw me walking up to come in at 9:57am only to say " We're not opened yet!" She said it twice! My appointment was at 10am. The manager knew her decision to let her sister and friends and not include me in to shop didn't well sit well with me. The manager tried to apologize as I was checking out. If the manager is going to be prejudice and not inclusive when dealing with all customers, this business will suffer if she remains. My fitting experience was less than feeling like a valued customer. I have been supporting this business since 1998 and have followed them to several relocations. I'm sure this is not the image the OWNER wants to send to her existing customers. The current manager is not suitable to work with people who look like me. This has been my worst shopping experience at the Full Cup. Why would your manager re-lock the door on a customer walking up at 9:57am knowing she had already allowed her sister and friends to come in and shop? After an older women explained how The Full Cup measures a women based upon the European system, a different woman (the woman who sat behind the reception desk) came in to take my bra measurement. That took less than 2 minutes. I was told that I was a 32F. Within 5-7 minutes, the woman who measured me brought in 9 "options" for me to try on. 8 of the bras didn't fit at all & 1 was a somewhat reasonable fit. This made me ponder that the "receptionist" really didn't know what she was doing & that I was unlucky enough to arrive after the pro's shift was over for the day. The 1 option that reasonably fit me wasn't great or "life changing".....just OK. It (like all the others) was a "model" bra......meaning that MANY women had tried it on before & it was stretched out quite a bit. When she brought in the same bra (a Medium pull-over bra) in a different color that hadn't been tried on by other women, I couldn't even get it over my head. That shows how badly stretched out the 1st "M" was. Very disappointing. No precise sizing -- just a MEDIUM. What makes this place different than Dillards or JC Penny? Nothing (as far as I can tell). Geezz. Definitely not a good experience & certainly NOT even worth the $50 fitting fee. Would not recommend. read more

Look. I am an older woman that has fought weight issues my entire life, and had been born with a large breast problems, as in finding bras to fit me. I happened about this place thinking it was an independent coffee shop, only to be seeing under garments inside this establishment. I'm thinking, Oh my! A place that isn't an independent coffee shop but they may actually able to work with me on proper bra fitting! But when I walked in, this establishment was appointment only. It happened to be slow, on my assumption, the actual owner calls into this store and tells them to take care of me pronto. Now that's what I call SCORING A TOUCHDOWN FOR THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS kind of day? Just never call me Cordell Stewart! BOOYAH!! Granted, I don't get there too often because their undergarments are a bit pricey, but I'm not the type of person that throws their expensive undergarments in the washing machine just because it's convenient. I have a small garment drying rack that I particularly use for under garments that sits in this tub of my master bedroom suite. And a couple of extra large ones that we set up for guests to dry their beach towels before they leave to go home. read more

Noticed sign for the shop while on vacation in the area. Called and made an appointment, Serena returned my call and scheduled my fitting session. It's been over 20 years since I've had a professional fitting for my wedding undergarments needless to say I was surprised at the unit that fit me like a glove Serena May the experience fun informative and highly respectful! After trying styles it was very clear the first unit is thr perfect fit for me. I was very pleased and ordered the bra in 2 different colors the downside is they only order on Mondays so if you miss the Monday you have to wait an entire week plus they receive the items from the UK so it's the shipping and turnaround time otherwise the experience was wonderful and I highly recommend the shop. I'll start by saying I went to Victoria secrets to buy bras probably 6 months ago and after wearing them a few times they became stretched out and terrible. I was recommended by countless people to come to the full cup. Everyone at the full cup is so nice and welcoming. I purchased an everyday bra and a strapless! I am so pleased. Also I recently had open heart surgery so when I wore the strapless bra it was to tight on my sternum so I called them back up and they exchanged it for a different one. I was so thankful that they did that. Also they are very educated about sizing and teaching you how to properly wear a bra!! read more

This is the first bra store that I've tried in Virginia Beach since my move here and I wouldn't go anywhere else. My experience here was amazing! I setup an appointment and a few days before my appointment they called to remind me. When I got there I filled out a tiny piece of paper with my information and they went straight into sizing me a private room in the back. I told my associate exactly what I was looking for color wise and style wise. She brought back a bunch of bras, helped me try them on, she discussed what worked best, and I picked out what I liked from what fit. A lot of their bras are darker colors, but I still tried on quite a few everyday wear (lighter color) bras. After you choose what you're looking for they'll take notes on what you really liked for future visits. The store only sells bras, shape-wear, and stuff to clean your bras with, but they nicely gave me a name of a store that sells bra fitted swimwear and highly recommended them. I will definitely be visiting this store again. read more

Such a disappointment. I've been ordering bras over the internet for years, and when I found out there was a specialty store in the area, I was excited that I could try on a bunch and make sure I was getting exactly the right size without having to order, return, and reorder. Well, the woman helping me did not appear to know much. she only made two measurements, over my bra. She said she brought everything they had in "my size" - a whole 4 bras. Then she started bringing me stuff in a larger band and smaller cup, which is exactly what I was trying to get away from wearing. She didn't notice the fit issues unless I pointed them out first. There were no suggestions for rearranging things to improve the fit. And frankly, I don't think the size she said I was, was correct. In addition, when I made my appointment I asked about brands they carry and was specifically told they had some of the Polish brands I buy. The woman helping me had never heard of Polish brands and looked confused when I said my current bra has a 75 (cm) band size. Every bra she brought me was US or UK. I was hoping to restock with 4 or 5 bras. I bought one. Now I have to continue to guesstimate my correct size based on how my current ones don't fit. I'm just so disappointed. I purchased a Rosa Faia bra approximately 2 months ago. I wore the bra approximately 2-3 times. I have an ultra delicate cycle on my washing machine; I put the bra in a bra bag and washed it. Upon purchasing my bra, it was never mentioned that it is unorthodox to put them in the machine. This was the 4th bra I have purchased from the full cup. I did not put the bra in the dryer, just the washers' ultra delicate cycle. When I retrieved the bra from the machine, one of the wires was completely out and halfway out of the other cup. Aghast and disappoint were just a few initial reactions. This was an $80 bra, mind you. I was given a gift certificate to the Full Cup, as I have generally had a great experience and I frequently refer friends and family to this specialty store. This is not the quality I have come to expect from an establishment of this caliber. Fast-forward to a few days ago, I returned to the Full Cup in Virginia Beach, only to be chastised and reprimanded for not adhering to the guidelines of their paltry 30 day policy and 'committing death to my bra' by putting it in the washer. I have 2 small children and my time is very valuable, so I didn't think putting my bra in the delicate cycle would render my bra 'worthless'. The associate at the Full Cup left much to be desired in the way of customer service as well as compassion as I was told there was absolutely nothing she could do for my situation, other then perhaps offer a small discount off of another bra. This is unacceptable. The full cup has lost many customers as I am taking my business and referrals elsewhere. Nordstrom also has a specialty bra section that is worthy of my business. read more

She gave me all the time and privacy I needed, asking if she could adjust, come inside, etc. Always knocks and asks if she can come in or not. I had heard great things about The Full Cup from friends for quite some time so I decided, after feeling my bra wardrobe needed a lift to make an appointment. The fitter very patiently measured and tried several styles and sizes until we found the right ones for me. The inventory in the store is woefully inadequate so I had to special order several of my choices. I was told the special order would take a three to four weeks. I was psyched. WELL SIX weeks later I got a message that my order was in. I made an appointment and rushed out on a rainy Saturday to find only two of the four had arrived. Okay no problem. I wanted these beautiful bras so the wait will be worth it. Two weeks later the call came letting me know my final special order items had come in. Great. I made an appointment to be fitted. An emergency on the day of my appointment required me to call to reschedule. To my dismay I was told my appointment was the previous day and my long awaited purchase had been "re-stocked" and sold. No call, no apology, no nothing. So much for a full service customer care salon. Very disappointing. read more

This place is wonderful!!! I've been to a bra place like this before so I know they go into the room with you so I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I worked with Vicki and she was very knowledgeable. I am a 33G so it's impossible to find bras anywhere else. I can order online, however you really never know if they're going to fit right or not. I was so impressed with the store itself, beautifully designed and cozy. Great experience. I recommend this place very highly. I was in the area on Christmas Eve and had been wanting to check this place out. I walked in the store at 2:45 p.m. There were two employees working and no customers in the store. One of the employees asked me if I had an appointment and I said no that I was in the area and thought I would stop by. I was then told that they were closing in 15 minutes and that I would need to schedule an appointment. Yes, 5 Stars, that's right. The Full Cup is one of those places you dream about. One of those places that make you come back for more. After fighting it for years, I finally acknowledged that yes, I had a rack that Victoria's Secret just couldn't size. Fearful of having to deal with either a) hideously sensible beige bras that my grandmother would have worn from Macy's or b) cute designer bras that just didn't fit from other stores, I ambled into The Full Cup after a recommendation from my rather busty friend. Like manna from heaven, a sales clerk came to the front, asked if I had an appointment (which I didn't, but it was Wednesday morning, and they had an opening), and proceeded to navigate me through the maze that can be lingerie. Here's the disclaimer: the sales clerks are with you in the dressing room. It freaked me out at first, then I realized that they REALLY know what they are talking about. They are looking for the right size, and having been victim to the sizing that is American lingerie, it turned out I didn't really know exactly what I was looking for, and what size I was. *Ding* Learning experience! I walked out of there with the cute, lacy, black/pink/and turquoise bras I had dreamed of, in my size that lifted, molded and decorated all my natural endowments! And I looked GREAT in tight t-shirts following my experience, which is tough to do in the wrong size bra. The only drawbacks are getting used to another woman checking your bra to make sure it fits (just think of her like a doctor) and the price tags. You are paying for quality, but, again, think of it as therapy and take the plunge. They also keep a card with your preference in bra styles, colors, and size so you don't have to go through the whole thing again. Make sure you call for an appointment! Today I have to go buy a wedding dress. Since I'm marrying my favorite part of my life, I wanted to make sure that the OTHER favorite part of my life would look good on the day. A year or so ago, a friend recommended this place to me, and though I understood that I needed an appointment, I also understood that I was desperate for something. I finally went yesterday evening at around 4:45. They were available to help. I would love to give you a more detailed description but this is a description for a lingerie shop, and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Elements of your trip: Expert fitters and breast education: A snug band provides support from the foundation just like with a house. Too many women try to get support from their straps, and that's a losing battle. You also learn about seaming, padding, and a host of other things that can affect the silhouette of your bust. Comfortable and beautiful settings: This is a boutique experience where you are truly waited on hand-and-foot. Its very private and very lovely. The lighting is also not harsh and ugly-making, unlike most department store dressing rooms. The ladies have evidently been reading their Yelp reviews because the woman helping me let me put the bras on by myself and can back later to check the fit. Kind and compassionate staff: I won't lie to you. I have a lot of body issues because I'm a larger lady (size 18, found out I wear a 40E yesterday), so I was a little nervous when I realized that someone would be actively helping me pick out a bra. My bra coach was WONDERFUL. She was so kind, and I was made to feel so comfortable. I asked if she liked the work, and she said, "I love helping women. This is a job where you pretty much can't hate." She's really a professional. Sizes and Selection: Some folks have said that this store doesn't carry much of a selection, but that was not my experience. I walked out with a conservative option for everyday wear, and a beautiful slate-hued, lace-and-net little number for my dress fitting. They are ordering that one in an ivory color (the company calls it Vanilla) for my actual big day. The Money Part: OK. You know its a place with beautiful lighting, individual staff, and European bras. You're not going to the semiannual sale at Victoria's Secret or Crapcique. I purchased two bras and a bottle of lingerie wash, and I spent $228.00. I made an investment in my appearance and in the health of my back and shoulders, so I'm not real worried about the money, and you shouldn't be either. You shouldn't be OK with gappy underwires or shredded closures or pilled cup linings. You shouldn't let a big impersonal store staffed by surly teenagers and college students convince you that your breasts look better under hot,sweaty layers of foam padding than in fine, beautiful lace. You shouldn't tell yourself that quadriboob (the appearance of 4 boobs through a fitted shirt caused by spillage from the cup) is the same as pretty cleavage, or that it is your lot in life because you are larger-busted. You should save up and you should buy yourself something beautiful. You should experience this place. read more

I have a mixed review. I LOVED their service in the sense that they actually know what they are talking about. For YEARS I have been going to Victoria's Secret and being told I am a 32-D (the smallest band size they carry). Which they fit okay for a regular bra- nothing to really complain about other than the fact that sometimes the straps are too long. But finding a strapless bra has been an experience from hell. I can never ever find a strapless that stays up for more than 10 minutes. I'm constantly having to adjust and pull up. Well, as it is summer and I'd really like to wear some strapless tops and dresses, I decided to look for a place that specializes in bra fitting. I came across The Full Cup, and went as a walk-in, though I think they prefer you to have an appointment. The lady who helped me was very nice and seemed to know what she was talking about when it came to sizing. When she sized me, I couldn't believe it when she told me I was a 28 D or DD! Um, 28? Do I have to buy that in the training bra section? I had never seen a woman's bra size in anything lower than a 32. Turns out, American companies don't really make bras in my size. So I told her I was looking for a strapless bra, and while they don't have a huge selection, I really just want a nude color strapless. They had a 28D, but the lady wanted me to try on a 28 DD to see if that was any better of a fit. Well, they didn't have a 28DD in stock, but she told me they would be getting more in, so she took down my information and what I needed and said she would give me a call when they got my size in (said it should be a couple of days). While I was pleased with the fact that they are knowledgable and that they actually carry my REAL size, I had to give them 3 stars as they have still not contacted me about getting my size in. About a week and a half after the first time I went (which was in mid-June), I called them to see if they had gotten my size in. They said they would give me a call back later that day after they had unpacked their new shipment. They called back, but it didn't arrive. It's now been over a month since my first visit and I still have not received another call. I will probably have to call them again to ask, but I would think that if they go through the trouble to have this contact card, they would have done so. read more

I found this place on my way to dinner with friends. I stopped in hoping to find a few bras since my size is so hard to find. The lady was beyond rude and wouldn't leave the room when I was changing which was uncomfortable. Then she insisted on fastening the bras for me. Again, uncomfortable. The styles were "grandma" cuts and not what I was looking for. I'm from out of town so I tried asking if I could order from them online or through a catalog when they got more styles in. He response was a harsh no with a scowl on her wrinkly face. Wouldn't recommend going there. read more

Just took my large busted niece for her first bra real fitting. She thought she would have to live with the largest DD from Victoria's Secret with an awkward fit. She was ecstatic to have a bra that actually fits. Our saleswoman was patient and funny and made our experience giggly and fun in stead of awkward or rushed (which when dealing with a young girl and her body can go either way). Thanks Full Cup. I have been to Intimacy in Chicago and NYC and a bra fitting salon in Kansas City. I want this place to be like all of those and it's not. I appreciate what they are trying to do, but they fall short completely. The number one problem they have no stock! They were very friendly, however not all that interested in going out of their way for you. You have to have an appointment, when I called they made it sound like they were doing me a favor and squeezing me in, however the place was deserted. She quickly measured me, which measured correctly to the size I have been measured at other salons and she brought me a bra to try. In the overall experience, they only had five bras in my size to even try on, four of which had me squishing out the sides so much you could never where a tank top with it on, yet each time I called her out on it she insisted that it was fitted correctly. I was then told that those five were all they could offer in my size. I realize I'm a hard to fit size (small band, larger cup), but that is the whole point of going to a bra specialty boutique rather than Dillards or Macys. They apparently carry very little stock on hand and made no offer to order anything in my size. I asked if perhaps there was a better time to come in when they would have a larger selection, thinking they were getting ready for a big shipment to come in and that was why they didn't have much and was told to watch facebook and they will post the new products as they get them and from looking at their facebook page it looks like they get one new bra style in about every 3 weeks. If you are unsure if you are in the right size, I suppose it is worth the trouble to go in and at least get fitted, but if you know your size and you are just a rare size stick to online retailers. read more

I'll start by saying that I went into this experience with very high hopes, but that this one really crashed and burned. I purchased a gift certificate for my girlfriend at Christmas of last year. I know that boutiques often are more expensive, but the service is much better and more professional than that which you would find at standard retailers. In a few weeks, she went in for a fitting and was told that they had nothing in her size, but would call her when something came in. Well, weeks went by, so she called them. In April (yes, four months into it), she went in to try on one bra that did not fit and was told that they would have to order some things and that they would be in touch. Welcome to the month of August! No phone calls, no nothing. I finally went into the store last week, and politely asked for my money to be returned due to the many broken promises and terrible service. I was told that regardless of the service, or lack thereof, that their policy was that refunds are not available for gift certificates. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told that she did not live close to here and that was not possible. The lesson learned is that The Full Cup offers service quite similar to that of any place found in a local mall, so save your time and money and deal with those places - at least you know what you're getting. read more

My first experience was a great one but my second was not. I had to wait for 3 months for my sized bra to come in and once it did I was not properly notified once it arrived. My bras that I have been waiting for were sold to someone else. The store said they called me to notify me of the arrival and they may have but I never received a message and/or email. Usually I would just go buy a bra elsewhere but I wear a 36I and I am also expecting so a supportive bra to fit me is rare and important. I called to check on the status at least 3 times and was always told "it was ordered". No apology was given. If you have to wait that long for your item to come in something should be done to at least smooth over the experience- shipping or a better effort to reach me would have been appreciated. I will not patron this store again. I can get the same bra on Amazon for cheaper and get it delivered to my home in 2 days- Now thats service. read more

I was excited to receive valuable tips on how to buy a bra. I had heard it was expensive but worth it. The night that I came in I was so impressed with the bra that I decided to buy one. Within 2 weeks from buying it the bra's wire started coming out. I went back and was told that the bra would be shipped to the maker and a new one would be sent. I told the clerk that since they were ordering one bra to order another one in another color. When they both came in I wanted them to call me since I don't live close to the store. Well after about 2 and 1/2 months I received a thank you email from the company that was included in a Christmas greeting. I hadn't heard from the shop since Sept when I dropped off the defective bra, so I decided to let them know that after waiting so long I wanted my money back. My email was passed on because I received a call from one of the attendants. She had an attitude and said that I hadn't been called because I told them that I wanted to pick up both bras at the same time. Apparently my one bra had been there but the other bra wasn't expected indefinitely. However, since I had let them know to call me when both bras were there they didn't call. Anyway, I picked up the "new" bra that had "been there" and brought it home. I was so upset that it was "my desire" that caused the delay in a phone call, I didn't wear the bra for a couple of weeks. When I finally took it out of the bag, I noticed it didn't have a tag on it. I showered and put on the bra. I only wore it for a few hours but when I took it off, the tag was yellowed. I also had little fabric knots on it like it had been worn before. I chose to wear it one more time after this discovery and found that the wire started coming out--only after 2 times of wearing it. I wanted to throw it away but after paying $60 for it I decided not to. My husband told me to call them again, but I didn't want to deal with the same attitude that I had encountered before. I finally cooled down after a month and a half and called them back to see if I could get the manufacturer's address and phone number so that I could deal with them one on one to let them know that their merchandise was defective but was told that they could not give me that information. I waited too long to complain the second time so it's my fault. Make sure that if you have ANY complaints to do it in the first 7 days. Don't stew over it like I did and end up with an inferior product. read more

I agree totally with Jill H. On the plus side, they were the only ones who ever measured and fitted me correctly and I learned a lot about how your correct size is determined. But then they only had one bra in my size and have never gotten in any others. I am an unusual size with very large cups and my experience at this store only made me feel even more like a freak because even they did not have much for me when they advertise themselves as specializing in sizes for people like me. It ended up being a depressing experience and left a bitter taste in my mouth. read more

I wouldn't mind paying above average for a bra that actually fits, however, I expect good quality and good service. I wasn't pleased with their selection - of the few that fit me, they had mostly bold patterns and raised patterns (ruffles, lace) that would be totally inappropriate for work wear. I wasn't pleased with the customer service - the girl had a condescending attitude. Anyway, I walked out with 2 bras, mostly because I couldn't stand my old bras. Within 4 hours of wearing the first one, I had a sternum bruise and cuts in my shoulders. The girl who fitted me, when I mentioned that it was a little tight, said that it would stretch out in no time. Unfortunately, I would probably have the bra embedded in my sternum before that would happen.... I went back with it, knowing their refund policy said it had to have tags on for store credit, but giving it a shot. They offered me store credit, but I was so annoyed that I wanted to return the whole order. Even though the other bra still had tags on, they would only give store credit. That policy is really sketchy and indicative of the problems they have with dissatisfied customers. Anyway, I mentioned that I was moving and store credit would do me no good, but she said I could order stuff remotely. As if I want to buy a bra sight-unseen - or worse yet, buy another maiming crippler! So now I have $70 of store credit that I can't do anything useful with. If any of you who gave this craphole 5 stars wants to buy my store credit off of me...? If I had to recommend this place for anything, it would be bra fitting.
