This bridal studio is absolutely stunning! It's such a delightful place to browse through dresses and really enjoy the experience. Stacey assisted me, and she was both knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I'm so grateful I had the chance to meet and work with her. Thank you, Stacey! read more

I attended a wedding dress appointment with my sister in which we ended up buying a wedding dress and a veil. Positives: A great selection and a comfortable lounge room. Negatives: For the appointment, it cost $35 for the to try the dresses on which we thought was reasonable given the time and attention given during the appointment. However during check out we were surprised that the sales person assisting us asked for a tip in the hundreds of dollars range! This really surprised us as we used our budget on the dress and veil and did not account for a tip. At no point during making the appointment were we warned that a tip would be asked for. After we were not able to afford a tip the sales lady was visibly upset and did not even offer a garment bag for the expensive wedding dress we bought. Although we are excited about the dress it was a strange customer service experience. I think if a tip is expected customers should be warned so that they can budget for this. Additional negatives were we not offered water during the appointment which I think would have been nice touch (especially if a tip is expected!). Also the sales lady pressured my sister into writing a positive google review before we could leave the appointment which left it as a weird experience for me. read more

The amount of options can be overwhelming BUT that can be a good thing! They called on the days leading to my visit to make sure they met my expectations and that they had an idea on what I was looking for. They did offer for me to look through the gowns and pick them myself but I didn't have to since Zara was on point with the selections. Didn't feel rush at all and the best thing is that they never tried to push my price limit at all. Totally worth the visit! Tailoring options are good as well to include extra details to your dress not just to make it fit your body. Btw they do have the option for a dress made by their onsite designer but that takes time (about a year) and extra money (starts at about 4k). Options are endless. Try them out. read more

Simply put, we said YEs to THE DRESS! The customer service here is individualized and top notch. Our party of 4 (and the bride to be) was attended by Malissa...and she is who you want to ask for by name. She listened to what we liked on our bride and what we didn't. She would pull an array of dresses that had every detail we mentioned. In the end, the dress, the one that fit as if it were made for my daughter was selected. How she was able to muddle through countless dresses to find the right one was downright amazing. Was the dress affordable? No. But we didn't come for affordable; we came for a timeless dress that would allow my only child to be absolutely stunning on her day. And that has no price! But if you must know, CHECK IN with your YELP account the moment you walk in and you will get a 10% off discount. And that was a savings that made a HUGE difference! read more

Studio I Do Bridals - Sorry, no sneak peeks of the dress!! Just know she said YES!! - Bridal Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Studio I Do was everything and more. As a 2025 bride, I am overwhelmed with all things wedding. The anxiety I had prior to coming here was taking over, but my stylist, Malissa, was incredibly sweet. She listened to me and my crew on every critique we had. I did actually end up saying "YES" to the dress. (A dress she told me I would love, btw). I cannot wait to show my future husband and our family and friends my dress. read more

The venue was amazingly beautiful and sized appropriately, big enough for all 9 of us plus. The service was fantastic w a charcuterie served which they allowed us to take home, and champagne and water bottles. The selection of dresses was amazing AND the staff went above and beyond to get my daughter the dress she wanted there, and it was the one!!! I truly thought the dress was going to be over $10000, and w everything it was only $3700, which was well below what it looked like. I can't post a picture here yet but thank you for everything!!! read more

I highly recommend STUDIO I DO!! Stacie Allen was the absolute BEST from start to finish... I found my dream dress online and inquired about local shops close to me that would have it. Upon calling Studio I do, they were able to get my dress sent to them from the designer so I ventured down to Va Beach from Bowie Md to try on my dream dress. It did require a fee that didn't go towards my purchase but I really wanted my dress. Stacie went above and beyond to create a memorable SAY YES to THE DRESS experience that I am going to always cherish and remember. Stacie encouraged me to try on some other styles for the try on experience & yes, they were lovely but when i put tried on my dress...my mom gave me 2 thumbs up and everyone agreed my dress was indeed MY DRESS!!! Experiencing this with my mother, 2 younger sisters and sister from another mother, was the best part of my wedding celebrations. read more

Responding to a response to a post left a few days ago....the disappointment continues. Your explanations of the shortcomings of our "final" appointment ring hollow. At our August appointment we were told that the alterations were minimal and that we could expect to take the dress home at the next fitting, scheduled for November at the August appointment. The next fitting was in November and as described, it didn't go well. The seamstress was non responsive to any concerns regarding the length of the dress having not changed and the bustle being too long, which prompted us to decide to seek a seamstress who WOULD address the LACK OF WORK DONE by your store. It's becoming increasingly clear that the first alteration at a cost of $524.62 (!) for minimal alterations ( shortening of dress, bustle, bra inserts) was NOT intended to be the only charge post paying for the dress. The demeanor or the head seamstress was abundantly clear to that effect in retrospect. There are several other aspects of the response which leave me disappointed, but it's best summed up as a lack of customer care attitude. It's abundantly clear that once 100% of the dress is paid that customer service drops off precipitately. We are simply asking for a refund of the abysmally poor seamstress work done (your defense thereof is insufficient as we verified by two experienced seamstresses that the methodology used was wrong), covering the cost of the seamstress fixing the dress (I promise it's less than $500+ charged by your store...nevermind the additional charge we were going to have to pay because of the insufficient work done). Ultimately, you need to decide whether you are truly sorry for the bad service provided and only put nice words to poorly performed service and then claim contractual obligations to cover the poor service provided despite collecting 100% of charges, or whether you stand behind your customer service and refund the money and pay to make this dress right. It's up to you. read more

This bridal shop has beautiful dresses and an amazing atmosphere for picking out your dress. The staff definitely know how to sell dresses (which is why I gave them one star) -- but that's where their knowledge and expertise end. I decided to have the studio complete the dress alterations for continuity of care of the dress. Unfortunately for me, it was a huge and costly mistake. At the second (and what we were hoping would be the last fitting) the dress was nowhere near complete. It still needed another inch taken off the hem and the bustle still left the train dragging on the floor. Additionally, the bustle was comprised of loops of dirty yarn sewed through the top of my dress, so not only could each of the 7 loops be seen in my train, but the yarn was so thick it permanently damaged the dress, leaving holes when the yarn was removed. The fitting was also conducted in the middle of the store, sandwiched between a wall and some mannequins so my dress train couldn't be fully spread out and was dragging along the ground in a high-traffic area, leaving dirt along the bottom hem of the dress. It was during that fitting that I decided I no longer trusted the store and the alterations staff with the safekeeping and completion of the dress, so I took it to another seamstress who was genuinely shocked by the condition of the dress. Side note: I've also learned the individual who was in charge of the alterations of my dress is the head of the department, which sets a low standard for the quality of the alterations you would receive here. Perhaps the most disappointing piece happened when I reached out to customer care with my concerns and very real issues (with photo evidence of the damage). I was completely dismissed, had the contract I signed waived in my face, and was told there was nothing they would do (or felt compelled to do) to right their wrong. I am honestly floored by their response and want to warn others of my experience here to hopefully save someone the heartache I am currently navigating weeks before my wedding. TLDR -- if you simply want to buy a dress, it's a fun store to shop at. But once you actually purchase the dress you will be shocked at the level of ambivalence and lack of attentiveness of the store. Their alterations team will not deliver quality alterations and you be an afterthought to their main goal: making money. read more

I had an amazing experience at Studio I Do! They have an amazing selections of gorgeous dresses! You will definitely find your dress within the first visit! The employees have great customer service as well! It was wonderful working with Taylor! She consistently does an awesome job every time I come in! She is so patient, kind, and sweet! She has knowledge of the dresses and made dress shopping easy and fun!! I wish the store had bridesmaids dresses because I would 100% order from them and have trust that it will be beautiful! The dresses are more expensive than other Bridal stores but it shows in the appearance of the dresses! They look and feel higher quality than dresses at other stores. read more

I can't recommend Studio I do enough!! Stacie made my first time dress shopping such an amazing experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable and knew what I was looking for before I really even knew! The whole process from checking in to picking and trying on dresses was so easy. Stacie made me feel so comfortable and so good in everything I tried on. If you can, I would highly recommend booking a private appointment, it's totally worth the extra $100. It was so nice and intimate being in a private room with my guests, away from anyone else in the store. I wouldn't trade my wedding dress shopping/buying experience for anything! read more

After my firsthand experience as a customer of the business ( clearly not a guest of honor), I would review them as a pretentious parlor. Remember that every single bride deserves the energy as if it's your first day as a passionate stylist, regardless of day or time of day. If that passion has dwindled, then maybe pursue an occupation elsewhere that doesn't require you to mask your face and pretend. Studio "I do" is now a Studio " I don't". (" I", being me, myself and I. All three of us) For yelp, to be clear, this was not a secondhand experience, observation from the perspective of a non-customer or a complaint. Studio I Do of course has potential and offers an impressive inventory of wedding gowns with an interior design that can inspire any bride's vision; however, the quality of the relationship is before the quality of the inventory. read more

Today was my first day at looking at dresses and I'm left shocked at their manners. I'm not firm on a budget or limit, I do not have experience looking for wedding dresses. I walked in, no one was at the counter so I looked around. I was walked up front to make an appnt as the attendant suggested that. The (Indian?) woman that was going to take my information immediately asked the max of my budget. I stated.. maybe $1,300, $1,200? She stated "well our dresses start at $1,500 so if you would like to stop by our sister store, they have less expensive dresses there." Thanks for ruining my day. Moments prior to that we spent $500 at the boutique next to you. I do not need you requesting I go elsewhere if i came to your shop to look at dresses. No class. read more

Love this bridal shop so much! I went to Studio I Do as my first stop wedding dress shopping this weekend and I was so nervous. I went with my mom, MOH, future sister and mother in-law and all of the girls there were so friendly to all of us especially my stylist Bea. We were all able to look and pick out dresses before getting into the dressing room which was so helpful to get an idea of all the different styles and what I liked the best. There were so many different dresses to choose from and we never felt rushed. Also the bridal shop is beautiful! We finally decided on my top choice dress but I had one more appointment that day. Bea let me know she would put everything I liked into a wishlist and that if I wanted the dress they'd pay the cancellation fee for my other appointment. We still decided to checkout one more location just because this was only my first stop, but Bea assured me I could come back anytime if I changed my mind and she would find a room for me to try it on again no appointment needed. Needless to say we actually cut our other appointment short and we're back at Studio I Do within two hours to retry on and buy the dress. Thank you ladies so much for your help we all had an excellent experience! read more

Studio I Do Bridals - Bridal Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

I have been to many bridal stores and none compare to Studio I Do Bridals. The staff was amazing. The manager Amber was bubbly, positive and extremely knowledgeable. During my visit the owner, Ashley was there and came over to greet me. I thought that was amazing because she obviously cares about her business and customers to be in the store working alongside her employees. The new space is beautiful, and is so much more than I expected. They recently renovated their showroom in June of 2018. The gown selection is unmatchable in Coastal Virginia. Brides, if you are anywhere in Virginia or North Carolina, you should make the trek to Studio I Do. You will find your perfect dress and have the experience of your lifetime. One cool opportunity is the Private Room. Although I didn't opt for the private room I passed by it, and it was beautiful. I only had 4 gusts with me( my mom and sisters and friend). But if I had more than 4 I would have paid the fee to have the entire room and champagne toast. Seriously, Studio I Do is the place you have been looking for to find your wedding dress. I hope your experience is as good as mine! read more

So I knew minimal about wedding dresses, styles, prices, or timelines to be even looking for a dress by. I went into Studio I Do on a whim (ironically because I ordered a bridesmaid dress from the store next door All The Rage). I walked in and the staff on my first encounter was awesome. They were helpful, informative, and super supportive because they could probably sense I was overwhelmed! Anyway, I had the 2 hour first appointment (sounds long, but it truly flies by) with the stylist SAM. She is incredible. She chatted with me before picking dresses and the second dress that she picked ended up being the dress I said yes to! She nails your style and comfort level quickly so if you can request her, I would ask! She was very accommodating of my multiple phone video chats and phone calls and pictures to my family during the session. She made sure to call me for the second appointment to come back just to make sure we worked together again since she is personally invested in making the process easy and successful. I loved my experience here and they also have a huge selection of dresses! read more

I flew from Texas to just "see" what my daughter's style would be. It was Christmas weekend and I did not know we needed an appointment. We started at one of the better known shops who had an appointment for 3 (it was noonish). We took that appointment, headed to the car and called Studio I Do. We can fit you in if you can come now was our response. So we did. The store is very welcoming from the get go. Our stylist is "T". T was amazing. She did not have another appointment until 4 and was more than happy to spend whatever time we needed. She advocated for my daughter (as she should) but also listened to my input. She made us both very happy. After what seemed like 20ish dresses (my daughter will argue that number was not that high, but it was :)), we found the one. Being a little timid about finding a dress when we were really on a scouting mission, my daughter facetimed her 3 sisters. T took the phone and shows the sisters every angle and every detail of the dress, including her walking towards and way from T. Now one of the sisters is a wedding planner and used to work in a bridal salon. She had many questions that we would not have thought of. T took her time and answered every question. She was not bothered AT ALL. And not only did we find the gown, I think we gained a friend with T. read more

I went multiple places and found quite a few pretty dresses, but nothing compared to the quality and sophistication of the gowns, staff and environment of Studio I Do in Virginia Beach. The entire staff was super friendly and helped me with any questions that I had, and I felt like my vision was completely understood. I found my DREAM gown as part of their " I Do Collection" which means that no body else has a dress like mine. I was so pleased with my experience that I bought all of my accessories such as my veil, jewelry etc.., my bridesmaids gowns and my groomsmen' suits. Had such a fantastic experience here at Studio and found the perfect dress for my special day!

Our wedding was on August 26, 2017, and it couldn't have been any more perfect! Studio I Do Bridals was our one stop shop for our entire Bridal Party's unique look - and we had the greatest experience. Let's start with my dress. When I walked into Studio I Do, I really didn't have an exact idea of what I was looking for because I liked so many different styles. Ashley and her staff immediately jumped into action and started bringing me a variety to find what I liked most. My dress was literally the 7th one I tried on, and I fell in LOVE instantly! It was a feeling I can't explain, but I will say - when you know, you know. I truly felt like a QUEEN and literally cried when I had to take the dress off on the day of my wedding. The entire staff was so helpful in helping us find the perfect look for our entire bridal party! My mother even found her dress there! Check out the pictures to see how beautiful everything was! We are also Greek, and had a huge Greek wedding with almost 400 people in attendance. Every single person must have complimented my dress, most saying "that's the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen!" Thanks to Ashley and the rest of the Studio I Do staff, our wedding day was one for the books and a memory I will always cherish. Thank you for making our experience so pleasant and stress free! I highly recommend you make Studio I Do YOUR one stop shop for all of your wedding fashion needs! read more

Y'all, Samantha HOOKED ME UP! I had a short deadline to keep and therefore needed my wedding dress like that day. She worked with me to find the perfect one. I left with out buying to go look at other stores and she told me they'd stay open late if I wanted to come back and buy it that day. I went back intending to buy it but to my disappointment they didn't have it in the color that I wanted. I was told they didn't have it. Samantha went and made some calls and with a 8 1/2 week delivery my dress was RIGHT ON TIME! I couldn't have wished for a more magical experience (because yes the va beach police did show up on horseback and YES they did let me pet the horse and YES Santa did walk in while I was trying on dresses to say hey to all the brides). If you're searching for your dream dress, Studio I Do is definitely the place to go! They have the biggest selection! From the time my family and I walked in, we had a magical experience. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy and they truly listened to what I was looking for. I was so nervous since it was my first time trying on wedding dresses but they made me feel so at ease. Definitely worth the trip! Before we left, we were also able to schedule appointments for our bridesmaids and tuxedos next door at All the Rage - they're a one-stop shop! read more

Let me start by saying i did found my dress in this location. I was 11 weeks pregnant the time i tried on my initial dress. I am currently living in michigan but decided to buy my dress in virginia beach because my family can pick it up for me if need be. I loved the dress it was perfect, as well as the veil. Both were partially paid on my initial visit. Fast forward to the day the dress was ready for me i was back in michigan so i decided to have my bestfriend pick up the dress and veil for me so she can ship it and i can get it altered here in michigan. When she pick up the dress she asked if the veil was in the box and the lady said "yes". When i received the box theres the dress but no VEIL! Three weeks later i arrived in virginia beach and picked up the veil myself (because they forgot to include the veil when my bestfriend picked it up from them!). I was already frustrated because this is the month of my wedding... i picked the veil up.. then the day before the wedding we were putting everything together and getting ready for the big day and BOOM' we found out the veil was damaged!! It has a few noticeable holes in it. And because its the night before the wedding i wasnt able to purchase a new one so i got married WITHOUT A VEIL! VEIL I PAID FOR, VEIL THAT WAS LEFT OUT ON THE INITIAL PICK UP BECAUSE IDK WHAT THE REASON WAS... My mom was upset because its a part of our tradition but i didnt have a choice. The day after my wedding i reached out to them and didnt get a response for five days... when i received the email they apologize and told me that i signed a contract that theres no refund/returns... so im stuck! If you decided to go here PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY!!!!! i honestly regret i purchase my dress here. read more

I will be honest when I say that upon first arriving to the salon with my mom, we were pretty overwhelmed with the size of the store and the amount of customers inside. I completely understand this salon is the most popular one in VB and for good reason! It was just very different from other smaller, more intimate salons where we were greeted by name upon first arriving. We were seated in the waiting area for 15 minutes which we weren't expecting, but we were early for the appointment, so again, totally understand. It did take a few dresses/minutes to get adjusted to our consultant, but by the end, I couldn't have imagined any one else helping me. Samantha was patient, HONEST, and respectful of my budget. She ended up picking out a dress that I said YES to when I explicitly told her many times I would not be walking out of that store with a dress...trust me when I say she truly does know what she's doing lol! I even got a discount because this salon is partnered with my wedding venue (Lesner Inn) and they were able to find my dress in STOCK READY TO SHIP ASAP, which I knew was just the icing on the cake. I'm so grateful for Samantha and for this bridal salon. Definitely recommend. read more

My daughter recently found her dress at Studio I Do. We highly recommend paying for the private fitting. It is just more fun and private than the fittings in the showroom. With the private fittings, you get your own room and stylist as well as champagne! We were able to bring four people with us for her fitting. Our stylist was wonderful and had dresses in my daughter's style and price range. They were not pushy at all. They were very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend Studio I Do Bridals! You won't regret it. read more

My daughter found her wedding dress at Studio I Do. We paid an extra fee to have the dress rushed and expected to receive it months before the wedding. Unfortunately, 6-8 weeks after the purchase, Studio I Do contacted my daughter saying there was a problem with the dress manufacturer, Allure, and her dress would not be delivered until 2 weeks prior to her wedding. Due to the lateness in receiving this information, it was impossible to order any other dress. So, as an alternative to the dress we purchased, Studio I Do suggested my daughter buy a dress off of the rack from their sister store, Here and Now. With limited time to shop for another dress, my daughter opted to get her first choice dress as a late delivery. The dress arrived 2 weeks prior to the wedding. Studio I Do made three fitting appointments without consulting with or attempting to coordinate my daughter's schedule at all. The last fitting appointment was scheduled just 2 days before the wedding. I suppose they figured we could pick up the dress on her wedding day! Unfortunately, none of the appointments made were do-able. In my attempt to get a better schedule, I learned the person who handles fitting appointments for Studio I Do works from her home in Florida, and the seamstress does not work in Studio I Do, but is located in the sister store, Here and Now. I ultimately contacted Here and Now directly, and coordinated a better fitting schedule myself. The staff at Here and Now were very friendly and did their best to help things. (By the way, we paid an alteration fee of $200 to add a bustle and 2 hooks.) Overall this was not the experience we expected, and we regret purchasing a dress from Studio I Do. How much of our fiasco was the fault of Allure and how much was the fault of Studio I Do, I cannot say for sure. But in the end, Studio I Do did not live up to their promises. read more

I visited this store in October and was made very uncomfortable by my experience. I am a size 14. My stylist made many comments about my body, like "You aren't as big as you think you are" even though I hadn't made a single comment on my own body the entire time. Also, she kept saying every dress I tried on "made me look skinnier". Again, I had not made any comment on my own body or expressed any desire to "look skinnier". I don't know if she was having a bad day, but she was also rude and snippy with my mom right off the bat. She talked over me when I tried to explain my style over the phone and kept pulling dresses with things I specifically said I didn't like. Finally, she was extremely pushy trying to sell me a dress I had already found at another store and kept talking bad about other locally owned bridal boutiques which was dissapointing. Overall I cannot reccomend working with Stacie. read more

I booked an appointment for my daughter as a surprise with Studio I do and they were very helpful making the appointment and flexible. Upon arriving, (on a Monday) the whole staff was pretty underwhelming. There was zero excitement that my daughter just got engaged. Samantha was our stylist and she tried her best to find a perfect silhouette for my daughter. We were not offered water or champagne and when I asked for a water the front desk lady told me they had none, but she could get me a cup and put water in it...(from the sink?). Then knowing I was a bit annoyed she finally pulled a water bottle from under her desk. Also, we were told serval times to "please remain seated" like we were on an airplane. I could tell the appointment was not going well so I decided to look for a satin dress for my daughter. As I was looking at the gowns in the front of the store, one of the ladies "scolded" me and told me not to touch the dresses. The whole vibe of the store was so dead. No music, no smiles, no enthusiasm. We left feeling we were a bother to them. This is the most special time of our lives and Studio was anything but that. We ended up going to another boutique down the road where they greeted us with such excitement and love and popped the champagne in celebration of my daughter. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. I believe that the girl who helped me was named Stephanie. I was allowed to look around the whole store and see if anything caught my eye and she collected it and took it to the room for me. She also went through and picked out anything she thought I might like or she thought would look good on me. My mom was also able to look around and pick out anything she wanted me to try on too. I ended up buying a dress in a style that I would have never thought about trying but Stephanie picked out for me. She let me know we would be able to add to it the features I wanted and turn it into the perfect dress. I am very glad that I decided to come here, especially since it was my first time trying on dresses. read more

I was pleased with my dress shopping experience at Studio I Do in Virginia Beach! I grew up on the northeast coast of NC, and this shop was one of the closest options when I went dress shopping with my mom. I had already been to a few other places and felt relatively uninspired. Studio I Do has a lovely, classy set-up, and the dresses were dreamy. Leslie was very helpful when I didn't know exactly what I wanted to try on. She asked some questions about color, silhouette, and what I DIDN'T want, and then went to pull options. My mom was also allowed to go find things for me to try. I ended up trying on a Morilee by Madeline Gardner dress called Kayleigh that was so stunning I knew it was time to stop looking! It was a little outside my price range, but worth it. Again, the staff was helpful in choosing a coordinating veil. The dress came in fairly quickly. A fun tidbit--we didn't realize it until we got there, but upon pulling into the parking lot, we realized that All the Rage Boutique, which is connected to Studio I Do, is where I bought my high school prom dress 10+ years ago. I got a big kick out of the connection :) read more

I had a pleasant experience up until now. I wear a size 4 to 6 in dresses, however based on measurements: BUST: 34 WAIST: 29.5 HIP: 39 Staff member Stephanie and Melissa guided me to buy a dress in a size 12! They convinced me that how the dresses run according to the designer's style and measurements this size would be appropriate. I trusted their guidance and when my dress arrived it falls down my entire body. Due to their no returns, exchanges or refund policies all the manager's at this store are willing to do is make me pay another $600 for alterations to accommodate for the drastic size difference. I paid over $4,000 for dress and veil. Although my wedding is cancelled for the 2nd time due to Covid, I thought this dress would be perfect. This store does not care about my money spent upfront.
