I want to say if you are looking for great quality wedding dresses this is the place to go. Not only are the prices amazing but the costumer service is top notch! They are a consignment shop and they have a variety of dresses there. My niece was going there to find her wedding gown. We had gone to another place where we had to pay $200 just to be seen an hour and for her to try dresses on. Here they didn't charge at all and they had better dresses. I called Silk Bridal a week before my family planned to come into town to help me chose a wedding dress. I talked to Madeline who was very helpful. She let me know that the following Saturday, when my family was planning on shopping with me, they were booked. However, she offered multiple options - either booking the salon for a private appointment on Sunday (that has a $75 charge) or she said she could schedule an appointment with me earlier in the week for me to narrow down dresses I liked and then she would be able to squeeze me in for a 30 minute appointment on the Saturday that my family was coming in. I appreciated how accommodating the team was. I booked an earlier appointment during the work week and the owner of the salon, Amy, helped me try on about 8 different dresses. She was very kind, patient, and helpful. The team there is a staff of 3, Amy and her two daughters. It's a small woman-owned business. When I arrived on that Saturday with my family for the 30 minute appointment, they were actually able to give me an hour in the salon trying on the dresses I had narrowed down. While I ultimately purchased my wedding dress from another bridal salon, I wanted to highlight the excellent customer service Silk Bridal provides and their great selection of affordable wedding dresses. You can order a gown from the salon or purchase a dress off the rack. The dresses I tried on ranged in price from $300-750. Some dresses on the rack are consignment, which is why they are available at a lower price, but they all appear to be in great condition and of very good quality. They also have a nice selection of jewelry and veils. The salon is clean, well lit, organized, and provides a comfortable and intimate shopping experience. Definitely recommend. read more

Silk was the first boutique I tried on dresses at on my journey and they set the bar pretty high. As soon as I walked in me and my two friends were greeted with a warm welcome. Evie already had some dresses pulled she thought would work for me but put me to work pulling some others that caught my eye too. When trying on the dresses. She offered to stay in the fitting room and help me get in them, thank God because some of those I would have never figured out. With every dress she flooded it out to the perfect step in for me to get in and she would help pull it up and button, zip or lace me in in seconds. This small aspect really made things move faster and go smoother for me. I ended up going to another boutique that day and the service wasn't even close to what Silk provides. We chose a few gowns to try and Evie was super patient in lacing me up in some of the corset gowns- not exactly a quick process! I found there was a good selection of sizes and their prices were mostly less than what I had expected. I got to try on probably 5-6 gowns and liked 2. The shop itself is very modern and retains an intimate feel to it. The dressing rooms were spacious although the shop is a little smaller than others I've seen. Evie and Amy were so nice in helping select gowns and were understanding when I didn't want to make a decision right away.
