I like Nancy's Nook. They have some seriously scandalous stripper-type wear here, shoes, underwear, dresses, hose, etc. They have cake pans and sex oils and swings and belly rings. They have another room that has a lot of porn and tons of sex toys of all kinds. This isn't a place I'd visit all the time but it is fun to frequent the wares every so often and see what is new or visit with friends from out of town who don't happen to have a fairly large sex shop nearby. Nancy's Nook is my number one guilty pleasure. The staff are great and let you wander around at your own leisure, not making it awkward at all. Dang I wasn't expecting much, judging from the exterior and it's location in a rather decrepit shopping center..but this place is BIG (at least compared to Priscilla's in NN). I rather appreciated the separate room for the more hardcore sexy stuff (and checking ID, of course), makes sure that people who go in are age-appropriate. Though I did notice sexy stuff (though not as blatantly..biologically rendered), in the main area. The sexy room had DVDs, toys for every kink, and magazines. So let's compare Nancy's Nook to Adam & Eve.... both places have great variety in almost every category you can think of however; with pricing Nancy's Nook is cheaper all the way around, more variety of sex toys/products, is an entire building with two sides one with videos/toys/blow up dolls and the other side party items/lubes/lingerie/stripper pole. Nancy's Nook is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week ;). Now they don't have as many displays of their products as Adam&Eve but they do have Knowledgeable staff that doesn't follow you around the store the way they do at Adam&Eve, that are more than happy to answer all of your questions. Parking at Nancy's Nook is abundant versus Adam&Eve it's hard to find parking in their very small parking lot. While Adam&Eve is bright and clean and Nancy's Nook is more dated and not as bright, overall I think the shopping experience is more discreet/personal, affordable and convenient at Nancy's Nook. read more

Much better selection than the Pink Banana, but still too expensive for the crappy toys and outdated magazines (some of these were from 1990s!?). They have more bondage stuff that you may want to have if you can't order anything on the internet. They carry a few nicest glass toys, but for over $200, the same toys I found on the internet for about $60 or so. I came here the other night from Hampton to shop for new toys and as I pulled up to the entrance, the censored doors opened. A woman looked over the counter and saw me pulling up. I got out my car and walked into the store. As I was looking around the associate walked pass me three times and never said a word to me. About 90% of their inventory is WAY overpriced. Like if it's 50.00 at Nancy's Nook, it's probably 15.00 on Amazon. And Amazon will return items that break or don't work properly and NN will not. This place is complete trash. The staff is incredibly rude and unfriendly. All of the lingerie is of the lowest quality possible and the prices are sky high. A bodysuit that you can order online for less than 10 dollars is 55 dollars in this shit hole. You can't even really try anything on, probably because it would rip or fall apart. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everyone that works there is super helpful and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all, which I was worried about. Their store is huge, and they have Everything. . . including some things that my husband and I didnt even know existed. Their NEW RELEASE movies are a little on the pricey side, but I was told that was because they don't rent anything out, so you're not getting used movies. [Gross!
