The Front Porch serves delicious ice cream. I just stopped in and the service was outstanding.

The staff were upbeat and helpful. I am visiting from West Virginia. I hope I get to experience the experience the tri-cities again in the future. Thanks Front Porch for the delicious ice cream.

They also have porch swings :)

I'm from Atlanta, visiting my bf's family in GRap. A family tradition of theirs was to stop at The Front Porch otw home from Grand Haven, so I was excited to visit. I tried Blue Moon, Toasted Coconut & Raspberry Choc-Chip and each one was delicious. I now have a great memory of swinging on The Front Porch on a beautiful day with my sweetie :)

Stopped here after a day in Grand Haven. It's a small place on the end of a strip mall. they have a daily deal where they post a name and if it is your name your ice cream is free. I had two scoops with sprinkles in a dish, which was a good amount of ice cream priced appropriately at $4 with the sprinkles. I chose the toasted coconut, which had real pieces of toasted coconut in it. very good. the real star was the pumpkin ice cream, which was the best I had ever had. I would return if I lived in Michigan! they had a bunch of other flavors I would have liked to try, like Dark Decadence.

Way overpriced ice cream. Go next door to Shell, buy a whole pint for the same price or less than a cone.

Tasty icecream and friendly service! They also have a name of the day to get free icecream! Plenty if outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

The service was excellent, the staff was super friendly. Ambiance is great, clean and nice. I learned a little history about this place at the surf shop today. The owner used to work for them and then had the opportunity to buy it. She also bought another shop in town when the owner's children didn't want the business. They make the chocolate for it. Give them a try at this location or their other location by Culver's.

I walked in and my little brother was already drooling at the smell of the store. Somehow you can smell the ice cream. There is a radius around the store where you can smell it. It's impressive. Maybe the body heat of all the workers creates a special environment that blasts the fumes of the store outdoors. But who knows. My little brother kept saying waffle bowl. His eyes rolled back and he said it again. Waffle bowl. Waffle bowl. Waffle bowl. His eyes were completely turned back and it was like a spirit spoke through him. Cappuccino crunch waffle bowl. I told him that I was going to get a waffle cone, and then he turned around, and then his neck spun on an axis toward me. The lights began flickering and all I could see were the whites of his eyes rolled back. They began to turn red and swell and then he quickly turned around, his neck snapped back and his eyes went down. The lights came back on and the workers were still there asking if we were ready. "Cappuccino crunch is pretty good. Get a waffle bowl." Said my brother as if nothing happened. Traumatized I just got the waffle cone, because my ego could not back down. But I did get cappuccino crunch. The rest of my family got other ice creams piled atop cones and waffle cones, and they were all smalls. Small gets you three scoops atop a waffle cones. On the Fourth of July, I couldn't imagine anything more American. They give you one to two napkins and there are napkin holders with more. I grabbed a few. My IQ is 180 so I ate my cappuccino crunch with ease. It dripped on the ground but never onto my hand. Smoothly I licked the cone all the way till it was gone and then took my final crunch. Man that was good. Between a cappuccino and heath candy, this was the fusion I never knew I needed. Like an affogato from the candy shop, but not too sweet. My intelligence often limits me from enjoying simple pleasures, but this scratched the itch for me. I am a world renowned track athlete, and this was my first cheat day in 4 years. I treat cheat days like bachelors degrees. If I can't go that long, it's worth nothing. Paul's uncle was our cashier, and after the maze of employees scurried around each other like Times Square in NYC, they piled the ice cream up with ease. If I counted right, I think I saw 20 workers in there. Quite the operation. My little brother smiled at me as I ate my ice cream with ease. No mess. However, with his bowl, he was the only one beside me that didn't spill it all over himself. We tied for first. He sat in his chair and laughed away as everyone else spilled soft serve down their shirts. "Waffle bowl." He said as he sucked his ice cream down like a black hole. Great times with fam

And, could easily be overlooked if you're not actively seeking it out. Often, there's only one person in line ahead of us, prices are always reasonable, and the sizes never disappoint! We've always gone through the drive through (and the speaker is a little difficult to understand) but the ice cream does not disappoint! They do have a few benches and picnic tables out front of the shop if you're interested in getting out of your car, but be aware, the lot is rather small! My personal go to is a orange flavor burst in a waffle cone with sprinkles. Yum!

It has plenty of food options (hot meals/snacks & sweet treats), including a variety of dairy free options. There are even treats for doggos! Truly my favorite thing about this place is that there is a small grass area around the back with a little playground for kids. It is enclosed with bushes & oak trees, and has a handful of picnic tables - great for families that are looking for a little privacy or just some shade!! Though the playground could use a little up keeping and maintenance, it was just so nice to sit down and have a moment relaxing with my family on a hot summer day. Though the ice cream was pretty average, the experience as a whole is what makes this place fun. I would go back just for the charm this place provided.
