Highlights: + Located in Hall 3 of Gare de Lyon + Small seating area on the side to take a minute to sit down and enjoy your purchase + Relatively cheap for GF. For under 10€ you would walk out with a Chocolate and Hazel Waffle and some change. + They offer a variety of sweet and savory options + Relatively decent hours

My partner falls into the first category, and was like a kid in a candy store when we first walked in. We shared a zucchini quiche, and while neither of us are typically super into quiches, we both found it to be absolutely delicious. The crust was thin and flaky and perfect, and the flavors perfectly balanced. I also had the vanilla eclair and it was delightful. The pastry was so light and fluffy, and the filling not too sweet and wonderfully creamy and vanilla-y. My partner had a slice of the couronne de reines--essentially a cake with orange peels, ginger bits, and cherries. He found it to be absolutely incredible. We had some wonderful coffees to go with our breakfast as well.

I should have done my research beforehand. I was confused by the visible lack of any viennoiseries on display. (I was planning on having a croissant and a hot drink for my breakfast there) They didn't have any croissant, so after some hesitation, I picked what looked like a savoury bread, which had the name of the establishment. I assumed it was their signature stuff. The bread tasted stale and weird. I also had a banana bread, which was on the stodgier side. I was disappointed. And only when I looked up this bakery's name afterward, did I learn this is some kind of gluten-free themed bakery. On a flip side, the seating area is spacious and very comfortable.
Nice tables for people watching on a sunny morning.

And interestingly she has heard about Atlanta so that was cool. Anyway... There was a line when we swung by as it was on a Sunday around lunch time. I guess brunch is still a thing regardless of where you are. But surprisingly with just the two of us, we only waited a few minutes and was seated almost right away. The latte we had was so so. Nothing spectacular to mention. The latte art was pretty and made the latte taste prettier. Yes, I said taste prettier. You partially consume food with your eyes anyway. The chicken parmigiana was so so. There wasn't really anything to really call out, good nor bad. Overall it was good so don't get me wrong, but nothing worth raving about nor to diss. It was a thick cut of chicken with a generous amount of cheese. Their chips were different to me, but that's just me and my limited exposure to different types of foods. The hubs' pick of ceviche was actually pretty delicious. It's not something you'd think Aussie's would do well. But then again, I don't really know much about Australian food. It's actually not something I'd think Australians would have on their menu in general. The thick cuts of fish were really good. The hubs really enjoyed this pick very much. The bits and pieces of strawberries and avocados were a nice touch. Overall the food was good. This spot seems to be popular in general. Hit it up if you're wanting to try Australian food!

He was actually quite impressed by it. Only thing is that it was fairly cold. Chicken Parmesan - Really delicious! Not greasy and the tomato sauce is quite flavorful. Perfect amount of cheese as well. I don't usually have a chicken parmesan because usually greasy and then the tomato sauce just gets too strong for me but actually ENJOYED this one.

*** 4.5 stars ***…read more This was my go-to Crepe spot in Paris. I personally preferred it to the fancier sit-down Creperies, my favorite here being the savory crepes with poulet (chicken) and oeufs (eggs). They do put a LOT of cheese by default, so make sure to ask for less if you aren't into that. I liked that it was a stand (quick, and you get to watch them make your crepe!) but had a few tables to sit at in front.

They have both savory (salées) and sweet (sucrées) crêpes, both of which I had. I started with the Savoyarde, with Serrano Ham, raclette (!), potatoes, and oregano. Biting into the raclette will leave you will gooey delight! I came back for a Grand-Marnier crêpe, since I've had a number of Nutella crêpes in France, and wanted to try something a little lighter. It began to hit after three bites. Delicieux! Definitely recommend for a quick bite or a late night snack!
Cheers!
