After moving here about a year ago, I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I finally stopped in on a weekday morning and upon walking in, the place was empty--this had me worried! The service was incredibly friendly and the lady was very helpful in explaining the menu and describing some of the drinks in great detail. I ordered two smoothies for my friend and I to try--their Mango Delight and their Miami Vibes. The Miami vibes smoothie was AMAZING while the Mango Delight was quite bad in my opinion. Taking into account from what I have heard from others, this is the reputation of this place. Their drinks are either a great hit or absolute miss. When it's good, it was great! When it wasn't so good, it was pretty bad. Still, good service is hard to find these days and I appreciated their friendliness and quick service. I knocked off a star for their incredibly high prices--$7.35 per smoothie (see attached photos of their menu). That's pretty pricey for me as a working adult and I can't imagine why they aren't doing as well as they could with Walla Walla University literally just a couple blocks up the road. The Shell Gas station (dubbed "The Express") across the street from the university has smoothies for about a dollar cheaper and just about everyone I have tried is pretty good. I knocked off another star just simply because one of my drinks wasn't good. For almost $8, I was incredibly disappointed. Try at your own risk but I would recommend smoothies from The Express just 2-3 blocks down the road in the Shell gas station first!

5/15/2023 Since this place opened up, it's been a gem. The coffee is delicious, the smoothies are full of variety and they make fun lotus energy drinks. The workers are super nice too. The lady who owns the shop is super sweet! She gave me a sample of une and always makes the mochas with chocolate swirls. It's not very spacious, but it can fit about 10 people. Usually I carry my drinks to go. Totally recommend the Puerta Vallarta!

Delicious! Service very good…read more Ambience is like being in the commons of a university! There is parking just west of Pattiserie.

There aren't many places open in the area on Sunday, but I saw this place had coffee and pastries…read moreso we decided to give it a try. It was pretty busy inside, but after a bit we were able to order. I ordered an iced soy latte with a pump of almond. Also a regular iced latte. I also ordered a few pastries, the Kouign Amann, Almond Croissant, and Goat Cheese and Herb croissant. They unfortunately don't heat up any pastries which I wish they would because I do think it would make the pastries better. The Kouign was my favorite. It was crunchy and delicious and sweet, I would get again. The goat cheese croissant was pretty good but nothing too special. As for the Almond Croissant, I was very disappointed. It had hardly any almond filling, and there was no almond flavor. I wish they would put slivered almonds on it but it was completely lacking. I would skip the almond croissant completely. As for the coffee, I got a regular iced latte and a Soy almond latte. The coffee was not good at all and it makes me sad to say but after a few sips... I had to throw it away! I felt like it threw away $7. It was very watery and the syrup tasted off. This is usually my go-to at other shops but I just couldn't drink this at all. Overall it was cool to try a pastry or two but I wouldn't make another trip here.
